I don't know what you mean about which forum to earn merit, probably which section/board to earn merit? it depends, but in overall, discuss about Bitcoin or the forum have a good merit circulation, also some locals.

You can see that merits are sent to people's posts. It should easily known that you need to have quality posts and people that will merit to the helpful and quality posts to have.

as Solosanz have already mentioned, you need to be a jr member in order to post images or buy a copper membership, that being said, you don't really need images in order to share "beautiful information", just post and share what you think will be interesting or useful.

Well, you cant just waltz in here and start posting pretty pictures. You are new, you have zero credibility, and this aint Instagram. You earn the right to post images by actually contributing something worthwhile to the discussions.

Forget the pictures for now. Focus on reading the rules and understanding how this forum works. You gain "merit" by making insightful, helpful, and well-written posts that other established members deem valuable.

I know this feeling when you see a lot of things people do here but you can’t do them due to certain reasons, it’s good that you asked and I am sure there are still a lot of things you need to learn about here but it is all a gradual process and only your determination will see you through and learn everything. A lot of replies have already been been made telling you that you must be a Junior Member and above to be able to post images and need at least 1 merit and 30 activity to become a Jr. Member.

It seems you haven’t gotten yourself familiar with the basics of the forum yet if not you must have come across it. Images can’t be posted directly, to post images you need to make use of image hosting sites and then post the link or attach the link to your post. The most commonly used image hosting site is

Instead of focusing solely on earning merits, prioritize expanding your knowledge. Merits will follow naturally as a result of your growth. It may be difficult to see now, but trust me, you'll understand with time. I'm speaking from experience, and we've all been in your shoes at some point.

You can earn merit by being active, writing good posts, contributing to important discussions, and sharing your acquired knowledge with new members when the time comes. In general, just stay active, and merit will come naturally. You can also share your quality posts here when the time is right. Until then, focus on growing on the forum, reading, and, as said, staying active.Focus first on what interests you, what you're good at, and stick to it for a while.

Welcome to the forum.
Firstly you need to make enough reading than posting so that you can get enough ideas on where to post. Although you can post on any board or thread of your choice which you can easily understand to share your own opinions.
However you need to earn at least 1 merit before you can post pictures but IMO earning 1 merits is not hard. So you must earn 1 merit before you can post a picture. A lot of informations have been shared to you already, so you need to read them and understand them perfectly before making posts.

You earn merits by posting constructive posts through replies to others posts or you open a post as thread of your own and whoever forum member with sMerits finding your post (s) interesting could merit that or your post for encouragement of keeping up with the good work.

Not just by posting though but posts with qualities which are either helpful informations or yields solutions to users.
If you want to be a good poster, I would advise you focus more on reading than posting in the meantime as you are just coming in to the forum so you would learn from experienced members.

Being a newbie, you don't have to worry yourself much about all these because they are things you will achieve with time, but for now, it will be more important that you concentrate more on learning about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, then get used to this forum and you will grow in knowledge before you know it, here are my few advise for you as take home.

1. Learn from what others post
2. Read the pinned threads on each sections
3. Make use of the search engine to know more on related topics of interest to you.
4. Read on every links provided here and be active on the forum.
5. For now, do much of reading than postings.

Well, you have already started this subforum because you are a beginner, and this is a part of the forum specifically for beginners. Still, no one is stopping you from reading posts in any part of the forum, so why not start at the top where the Bitcoin discussion is located? Over time, you will find what interests you the most, and then you will stay in those boards the most.

Actually, everything you might be interested in is already in sticky topics, and as far as I can see, some members have already posted those very links. For everything else, there will always be someone to help you, but you have to find the line between asking legitimate questions and adopting the knowledge that already exists on the forum.

Before you can insert images in posts, you must have at least a Jr. Member rank. You can see the full details in the original thread created by @theymos. Then, once you reach that rank, you can use image hosting platforms like TalkImg to upload your images.

Not up to a week after you got registered to the forum, and you're already asking how to earn merit. I think it's too early for that; you need to read more of the forum rules and regulations. And other important information that you need to know about the forum before you start talking of earning merit.

However, you have created a thread. Just last week, you came in, which you don’t need at the moment. You need to read what other people have useful information, then learn how to write your own, and by sharing useful and meaningful information, you can earn merit easily. There is no way of earning merit other than that of sharing useful information.

There is really no specific board where you have to post in order to earn merits. To earn merits, you have to write quality and constructive posts here. Anyone who finds your post helpful will award you some merits for your efforts.

I have also come to realize that you don't fully understand how each of these boards works. You can't just post randomly; each board has a specific purpose and the type of discussions that can take place there.

To avoid this confusion, you can see that the first board is the Bitcoin forum, which contains subboards like the Bitcoin Discussion board. Under the Bitcoin Discussion board, you will find a description indicating the kind of discussions and topics that should be raised there. The same applies to other boards and subboards. Take note of this to avoid posting off-topic or irrelevant information in an attempt to earn merits.

It should not be the biggest concern for a newbie like you, but establish first your identity in the forum by active learning and participation in the forum. Merits will eventually come when you are seen starting to interact in the forum with quality and helpful posts. But for now, don’t get pressured on how to gain merits, but enjoy your stay in the forum so that boredom won’t attack you.

Well according to your account history, you are still a newbie who has not yet reach the level to post images. I think you can start adding images when you have achieved the member rank. Or secondly you can decide to purchase a copper membership to be able to used image even at a newbie rank.

Then for the merit, you can earn merit anywhere in the forum, provided you are making a reasonable Post that attract people to merit it. There is no special place of getting merit, you can achieve merit depending on how informative your posts are.
