Haven't you see how they do summarized local board post on how they performed in every month?
Like i know over the time they have been doing that already using @ddmirddmr tool and @Rikafip have been doing this as well. For about reward or something like merits (the quality of your post gives your the chances of earning merits), there is always reward through the bpip.org which awards people on how they receives merits. In fact bpip.org gives almost all the information you are asking of, so click here to find them for yourself.

Frankly speaking it would definitely be way crazy if these data collections don't already exist on this forum. There are countless data collections on the forum that compile these things you mentioned and also more important ones too. To start with we have LoyceV that compiles some data like this concerning major things including newbie merits and trust.

Also we have BPIP where you can check top rankers too. Infact Try ninja too has updated the ninjastic space with some major data collections like these too. I think you should surf more op so you get more familiar.

Why should be there some small award be arranged for Users that when they spam the whole Forum full just for getting the most Posts?
On top of that for the Most Merit giver there would be always the Merit souces that will getting that.
In my opinion its a bad idea for doing that , it would be only create more spam as we have right now.

What reward exactly are you thinking about? Also, "forum post maker" doesn't mean that the user is a great poster, "forum most merit giver" would most likely cycle around merit sources, "forum best post of the month", what exactly is the criteria for that?

Anyway, in my opinion, the suggestion is unnecessary, it doesn't really add much of anything useful to the forum.

With or without an award, you are encouraged to post the best that you can come up with. With or without being a part of a signature campaign, we are guided by the forum and ethics as a member, and besides, we already have the merit system that will help you rank up and gain a reputation, so I think we don't need these awards.

In my opinion, any member that wants to be useful in the forum by making positive contributions and discussion, it is not a monthly award that will encourage them. Many good experienced Bitcoin users have been selflessly contributing greate knowledge to the forum without such encouragement and yet they did well. Speaking of rewards, so many users are already getting incentives on their post from signature campaign rewards, myself included.  Recently, there was also a just concluded Bitcointalk award of 2025 here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5535908.0
All of these is already an encouragement.

Forum admins have a lot of more important implementations, and they are always working. And regarding reward, why should it be paid? This forum hasn't been created for earnings actually. So don't expect it from the forum itself. But if you contribute to the forum, you will get a good return from the forum some days.

Earning merits alone is enough encouragement to post better. If the forum starts any other form of Incentivizing based on  those outrageous list created, we will find users who will try to rig the system just to qualify for some sort of award.

The primary reason we are here is to network, expand our knowledge about cryptocurrency and it's underlying technology as well as better ways to increase our portfolios, stay safe from cyber attacks/phishing links.

Well if you look carefully you would see that op is just trying to devised a means to favor them while they just trying to understand how the forum function while they exist over here, like I know beginners are that desperate for the forum to usually looks like what they want maybe from the other side where they are coming from but, unfortunately the forum doesn't operate the way everyone want otherwise here could have been messed-up by now but I believe with time op would get himself familiarized with the whole concept of the forum and how the things are in forum, just as you said using through external third party site or tools, and of course these users has been so useful to the forum by introduce those quick tools that would help us explore the forum correctly.

Most of the stuff you mentioned is already being done. You can search on Meta for them. The only thing that is new about your idea is that you want the forum to arrange an award for the supposed winners, but what about the Bitcointalk Awards? That’s not enough? BTW I don’t think anyone should be receiving an award for making the most posts because anybody can do that.

Golden thought. It is enough to hold such an event once, so the next day we will see tons of new uninteresting topics and those who want to be champions. Likewise, the statistics of those who received merits or gave are also uninteresting, since all this has already been implemented. I think those who open up new and interesting topics for discussion do it just like that because they feel that the issue is necessary for discussion. Anything that is done for prizes with some benefit will not look sincere; thus, such topics will always smell of merit hunting.

You should be awarded for making posts in the forum. I haven't seen a forum that rewards more than BTT. Signature campaign is more than enough reward and motivation.
