I agree with you in this because addiction is not something good. Addiction is not a crime but I have seen people that stole their parents money and spend it all on gambling. The worst that I have read before was someone that was a seller before and making money from the cloths he is selling. Like i said earlier. I don't expect people to tolerate addiction for a long time because everyone mentality and level of tolerance is never equal. Mr A may find a way to control addiction after getting addicted while Mr B cannot control addiction. Both of them one way and another is affected by addiction the only difference is that one of them can control his addiction but trust me it won't be for long.

Yes you are right, there is an addiction that at least a gambler can still control himself. Which will not lead to a criminal situation. Because the other gamblers who commit crimes

In the case of gambling addiction there are several reasons or paths which could lead us to lose control over our actions while gambling, but the most common cause is greed and desperation to get back money lost on the casino during that session or previous sessions.

Op having read all you've written, I will have to say you're right to an extent though you've listed out the strategies in which a gambler can apply in other not to get addicted, yea but the practical reality is that some things are easily said than done.

People perception about things differs and it also depends on their understanding about a particular scenario, whichever way, gambling addiction should be taken serious but should not be seen as a crime because no one knows who will be the next victim though we are not praying for that but we must be realitic.
