Well I'm yet to travel and see the world at large but at least I read news and I keep up on information of different location and country. while my country is going through economic downtime and bad governance, I figured all you need is money and you will be very okay at retirement age. What I'm working towards is having enough money and investment to take care of myself. I could literally be in a very nice part of the country where I don't have to go to the busy parts on daily or weekly basis and be ok.  my country is okay to retire, all I pray is before retirement the country will be in a better state.

I will prefer to retire in my country, because there are many minerals resources you will invest your money and your generation will never lack money. Why I said Nigerian is the best country to retire, you can use small amount of money to build or establish a good firm that will be bringing money into your account and you will spend less in raw materials, compare to other countries you will be importing some raw materials that will cost you big amount of money.

If you are talking about taxes in companies in the country, Nigerian taxes is among the lowest taxes in the world and is helping some companies owner in the country to establish more companies in the country.

I suppose many of us would prefer to retire in our home country, which is great, as it shows loyalty to where we came from. However, there’s no denying the appeal for those living in wealthier nations who stand to earn substantial retirement funds. For them, moving to a place with a lower cost of living makes sense, as it stretches the value of their money further. The Philippines is one country I’d recommend for this, though of course, it has its downsides. like healthcare and hospitalization costs, among other concerns. I know every country is passing through economy difficulties but as for me I'll like to retire in the United States because I think United state is among the country's that had a good retirement settlement for retirees compare to most countries,  expecially developing countries. Buy one of the most important thing to know,  even as a retiree if you like found yourself in the best country if you don't have plans on why yo do with your life after retirement you may still end up becoming nothing even with the settlement you are being given. Life is about planning  and planning after retirement and wherever you found yourself as a retiree life won't be too difficult.

Before choosing the country i will like to retire in, let me start by the way of analyzing on my reasons why i cant go or settle for some countries despite their development, because life is not about being recognized and well developed, we also have to consider having peace of mind when we are living in it.

UK would have been my preferred country, but increased tax payment will not allow me to consider them, US would have been my second country to have in mind, but the rate in crime and social violence is high and security level is not too perfect with gangsters using guns in US, now i will prefer Canada, despite the cold, i still see it as more economical to live there and thrive from the remote regions down to the developed cities.

I used to love the idea of moving out to a new country probably to retire and just enjoy the fruits of my labour but as I started getting more mature I realized that there's no place like home. My country is the best place to be when you are successful. People who are currently in the country and saying that it's a boring place obviously are not rich people. Going to other countries for me should just be for vacation purposes but retiring in my country when you are already successful is the best. 'm only interested in working abroad for some years and come back to my country to retire.

To me Spain, Portugal or Italy all seem like they have the right pace of life and enjoyable climate. The people are kind and they have a nice selection of Mediterranean foods. The idea of being able to go out and pick some fresh oranges off the trees in the morning is quite appealing. Having a nice amount of sunshine most of the year, compared to colder places further north is a bonus. Being able to swim in warm seas and visit beaches packed with beautiful women is another positive. I've found that these are the best places in Europe, but it really comes down to personal preference because I know some people love colder countries.

This is a really trick question because I don't really have any place in mind but one thing am sure is that if am given the opportunity at an old age I think a serene environment would be my place of choice and one of the place I would like to go is the country like Norway or Greenland where there is more green. At an old age what will come to mind is always a place to rest and no much disturbing like the worries of the world issues.

In my opinion, it is better to enjoy retirement in your own country than in a foreign country which of course requires more money that can be used for better things such as investing or starting a business that can generate money to be enjoyed in retirement or old age.
I personally want to enjoy retirement in my own country and live in the birthplace of my grandmother or grandfather, namely in the countryside. Because it is much quieter there because it is still mountainous and free from pollution because I like green areas that are still natural and I can farm for my activities in old age because coincidentally my grandfather and grandmother still have land for farming and both are native residents of the area, the only difference is the road to get to their house. And I think almost everyone will enjoy retirement in their respective places and the reason is because old age is very susceptible to disease or negative things that there should be people around us who know us such as children, siblings or other people who can help us when we need it or something happens that really needs to be helped by others.

there is no country that is better for now so I cannot tell you any country except my own country where I came from so I know that the system of my country is corrupt but when you come in terms of retirement I believe that my country is one of the good country that you can retire on because you have something to do and you will survive in anything you do, but in certain countries you will not see anything to do when you are retired so it is depends on the development of country the determine the life living of the Citizens from my own understanding

For me I will love to retire in my own country, though Everyone has a dream country or dream place to retire but I think it's better to retire in a place you are familiar with and know much about so it's easy to navigate or when you want to start a business in the country. Business have higher success rate in a place you are familiar with because of the knowledge you have on it. Also in terms of raising your kids I think you will be able to give them best education and training them to become someone of themselves when they grown up because you are well acquainted with such Country.

Kinda agree with this, living in another country is far more complex than what it seems.
The only comfortable way to live on another country for retirement is to become rich first and then you can live lavishly spending all your remaining money for your retirement.
if it's just another retirement with ordinary amount of savings, I'd definitely prefer to stay in my country of origin, at least we know better the way to survive.

However,  if i were forced to live in another country for retirement then I'd prefer a place where the society is more laid back and everything is cheap.

Country don't matter and I don't give over importance to the money because money is part of life but that is not everything. The country in which I am living, I am happy and I am enjoying life and few years of my life are left and after we will be transfer and there will be another living which will be totally different from that. I want to retire from my job when I am 60 years of old and I will spend my time to remember God and I will do good for the people to get heaven.There are millions of people who want to spend life in Europe but I am not that kind of person because I grew in that family which is respected and my father is nice person and he always nurchured well.

This is a sound point too. It's a lot easier remaining native in comparison to moving elsewhere. I suppose only after great success is when the world can become your oyster, and when you can comfortably locate somewhere else.

I want to retire in my country. The cost of living here is not too high so I can still earn money and survive. So that will be a good choice for me to stay here and earn more for my retirement plan.

I want to buy a land if I have much money and fill that with fruits and vegetables so I don't have to buy them in the store. That will help me to save money because the primary needs may increase anytime.

Besides that, I want to have a food store with various menus with a cheap price so all people can also buy without spending much money.

I don't believe that I'm going to retire. I don't know if I going to survive in the next 30 years. Who knows, maybe World War III is going to happen after 2030 or maybe the super-AI will destroy the human civilization after several decades. Maybe a deadly pandemic might occur.
If I manage to survive and gather enough wealth in the next 30 years, to be honest, I totally don't care where I want to retire. I hate travelling and I can't see myself living in another country. My homeland is going to be the place, where I'm going to spend the rest of my life.

To be honest, I want to retire in Switzerland. I like to see the mountains in there as part of my daily living. The climate is fine and not exhausting at all. But my problem there is the cost of living, I know that some country side of it could cost less but being someone that doesn't have the luxury, maybe it's just going to be a dream and plan that will never happen to me. While people from there are looking for a more affordable and cheaper place to retire in, some folks want to move there.

I don't actually have plans to retire with Bitcoin since I think I continue to participate on any investment and other activities with it even if I'm old or in retirement age.  I think there's nothing much to do at that stage since we are not capable to do physical works anymore. And want to continue to exercise my brain through doing research on many things like current events or happening about Bitcoin.

For me perfect location for that is mountain provinces which away from pollution and other stressful environment, also as long as internet is accessible then everything is fine with me on that set up. I also don't want to retire overseas since I want to be alone and also can be access immediately with my family if there's emergency situation happened. What I really hope here is we could still see Bitcoin to last for more decades since for sure all of us early adopters would benefit this.
