Firstly when he was elected people said he was going to wage war against his enemy countries but here the new regime isn't fight an enemy but is now making itself the enemy of the world.

I could remember how i used to say it then, that Trump reactions may not be predicted until he emerge the office again for the second term, but we shouldn't treat him with the impression we had on him from the last term he did during his first tenure, the world should also learn from all these, by being independent of US, then they should all encourage for the use of their local products and reduce the importation made, same way the exportation should also be cut and lets see what comes in after all these are being done.

What could Trump possibly want? To end this corrupt system
But that is neither what he wants nor what he is doing. Remember that Trump is a billionaire because of that very same corrupt system. To won't do anything to harm his own empire!
The things he has done so far like the tariff war will only increase the government revenue, it won't do anything to change the corrupt system. In fact it will only increase the corruption in that system.

MAGA Group
It's funny that yesterday I saw a clip showing one of those MAGA hats and inside was written "Made In China" Cheesy

However, Trump is being blamed for creating this chaos due to tariffs, even though this measure was taken to eliminate the country's economy and debt, which has completely reversed in the current situation.
Well last I checked the US was generating about $1 trillion national debt every 100 days. How much additional revenue will all those tariffs combined generate to stop that. And how much will it generate to cover the $36.7 trillion of already existing debt?

Trump already knows that he cannot win this tariff war. China is determined to continue this war till the end. From his comment on his social media platform, it is clear that King Trump wants to negotiate.

Quote
China also wants to make a deal, badly, but they don't know how to get it started. We are waiting for their call. It will happen!" the president said on his social media platform, Truth Social.

Imagine this scenario: US imposes 54% tariffs on China and China decides to reciprocate and impose tariffs on major agricultural exports of US (soybeans and corn) two items that were worth 50 billion dollars.
You are Thailand with 36% new tariffs (and have your tariffs on US products) but see that $50 billion opportunity in China and you already produce soybeans and corn, you can easily increase your production and exports to China to take over than market. Now US exports $50 billion less as its economy shrinks by that much while Thailand exports $50 billion more as its economy grows by that much Cool

But I should emphasize again that this golden opportunity has to first be recognized and the governments have to put a lot of effort to be able to use it.
China has retaliated and he is crying out and threatening to impose 50% more if they don't remove theirs. We all know China is not a country that likes to loose face and there is no way they are removing those tariffs. Seems Trump is set out on a more destructive move again if he imposes this threatened extra tariff on China by tomorrow, it might not really end well, let's continue being spectators to his tariff games.
It's okay that China retaliated, but at this point it seems like the United States is getting much tougher and they're getting into a much more tariff war. Recently, it has been observed that the White House has confirmed that an additional 104 percent tariff will be imposed on China starting tomorrow, which in my opinion is raising the prospect of a full-blown trade war. Essentially since China has not announced the withdrawal of its retaliatory tariffs, So I think the United States is taking more destructive steps.

Quote
According to a report by Fox Business, the White House Press Secretary in a media briefing said, "104% additional tariffs went into effect at noon eastern time because China has not removed its retaliation. The 104% additional tariff will be collected starting tomorrow April 9

I'm not the President of any country, nor am I a millionaire or billionaire, so I am not in touch with elites and the life that I went through is extremely different from the lives of these people who rule (or partially rule) the world but I think that Trump will destroy the USA. Well, there are really only two options, his insane ideas will either make America great like we have never seen before or the USA will fall like we have never seen ever and my mind and heart tells me that the last one is about to happen and I'll explain why.

It's a known fact that many countries want to get rid of the US dollar and it's also a fact that the USA transfers imports inflations in other countries since USD is a number one currency. The USA basically forces the rest of the world to go into economic war with them. Since many countries want to dedolarize and now the USA wants to war with these countries and many more. I don't think that the USA is powerful enough to force all these nations to obey it, so, countries will use this opportunity to get rid of the US dominance and build better trades with each other, they'll also find a good alternative of USD.

I couldn't imagine if the situation in the USA would go so bad that one of the major problem of the people would be gender and color issues instead of thinking about how to treat cancer, hair loss, how to build a better infrastructure, how to expand lifespan, how to improve quality of life and so on. Instead of thinking about medicine, engineering, chemistry, physics and so on, the country thinks about how many genders exist and has two as dumb options as Trump and Kamala are. I mean, these people are no smart than many people that we meet in the streets but for some reasons that are unknown to me, they managed to be where they are now and that's quite strange.

It is a pretty ridiculous and unreasonable tax just to threaten China. But Trump thinks that with it they can make Beijing submit to him. Beijing will fight to the end as they said on Tuesday. They are not afraid at all of the additional 50% tariffs because they see this as "blackmail" so they do not plan to submit to what the US wants. And in the end America will lose because these policies end up harming itself as these policies will inevitably backfire on its own domestic economy. While China will strengthen their trade, especially with BRICS and ASEAN members and with their neighboring countries to counter Trump's unreasonable actions.

But to give the MAGA Masterminds the benefit of the doubt. They believe that, as said by J.D. Vance, "the United States borrowed money from Chinese peasants to buy things that Chinese peasants manufacture". 👀

The MAGA Masterminds believe that their civilization is going to die because 50 more years if the current situation with China would "make Americans the peasants who work in sweatshops for the Chinese people to buy".

as a result of this, asian countries began to strengthen their trade relations, such as china, japan, and south korea, began to strengthen their trade relations and planned to strengthen each other's supply chains. this is a good thing because so far these three countries have not been very active in this regard, but after trump's policy they saw that they needed to strengthen trade relations in the region. this is one of the impacts of trump's tariff policy, and maybe we will see more asian countries starting to take advantage of this and strengthen their economies.
The height of it is that each of these countries are strong trade counterparts of the US and they have vowed to speed up Trilateral FTA(Free Trade Agreements) that would see the countries unite as trading partners. These countries have been unable to have any concrete agreements since 2012 they embarked on this FTA due to historical and territorial issues constraining them. Maybe Trump tariff policies is finally going to unite them together pretty soon by speeding up the FTA between them.

While Trump is pushing them away with his policies, they are taking solace among themselves and may be stronger very soon to displace the US economically.

Essentially since China has not announced the withdrawal of its retaliatory tariffs, So I think the United States is taking more destructive steps.
China would not withdraw, rather they are strengthening ties with other economies to stabilize themselves, maybe soon they would find other pleasant markets to focus upon. Trump is pushing them too hard, and it might force them to get more creative to seek more alignment elsewhere and to a large extent, do away with the US market. Again, while Trump imposes tariffs, the end users which is the citizens suffers it more because they would now purchase these items at higher prices and all these leads to more inflation.

as a result of this, asian countries began to strengthen their trade relations, such as china, japan, and south korea, began to strengthen their trade relations and planned to strengthen each other's supply chains. this is a good thing because so far these three countries have not been very active in this regard, but after trump's policy they saw that they needed to strengthen trade relations in the region. this is one of the impacts of trump's tariff policy, and maybe we will see more asian countries starting to take advantage of this and strengthen their economies.

This provably the effect of what Trump do since for sure Asian countries would think about if they will always rely on US market then same situation would provably arise especially if the leader have the same mindset as Trump have.

Trump just make Asian country became more unite and if it happens that they would stay away on US market then provably they would suffer on this. That's why its bad that they implement this tariff since for sure this will create a huge problem to them in future.

Also Asean urged diversification after the tariff impose https://www.scmp.com/week-asia/economics/article/3305706/trumps-tariffs-asean-urged-explore-trade-diversification-tap-ftas

If more Asian countries will start to go out on US market I guess they would be in huge trouble in future.

I don't think President Donald Trump started this trade war only because he wanted to generate enough funds for the US from it,he's just telling the media houses and the citizens what they need to hear. Donald Trump is the intimidating type of person and that's what the US are good at. I think President Donald Trump is demonstrating the power of the US,kind of showing the world That the US isn't weak. If you can remember during his election era,he has been saying it that the US under Joe Biden have become weak and now he's here to return the US to her rightful place as world power.

I think this time he all got it wrong and the kind of advisers that are pushing him to start this trade war and start imposing high tariff on other nations are bad and there are not telling him the truth just because they don't want to loose their jobs. The truth is that the US will likely regret ever starting this trade war and the most foolish parts of this is that,he(Donald Trump) even when ahead by imposing this tariffs on US Allies nations as well. The same allies nations that the US signed a pact with to protect both interests on trades and military supports.France and Canada have retaliated which is going to affect the US,other nations will start turning to China and Russia for trades and they will likely start trading among themselves removing the US from the radar. If other nations stop doing business with the US,it's gonna effect their economy and reduce their dominance in those regions. I bet you Donald Trump is gonna regret it,that Man is just another annoying psycho.

Looks like they have planned this event actually. First they tried withdraw out of of WHO and later from UN.

So he isn't going to regret it.  Because they are deliberately trying to isolate themselves for America is one of the polar that OP was saying. They know its going to happen because they made a lot of enemies around the world especially with this tariff war. But at the same time, they dragged along the economies of the other countries down.

But what's really the problem of the united state?
Do they think they are better than every other people around the world?
Almost all the conflicts going on all around the world they are a major cause and player in it, or is it because it's not happening on their own soil?
It's high time they stop playing the role of a God on everyone because they are not, and will never be.

As for the trade war that Donald trump's has just start, it's just another form of trying to oppress their real competitors thinking that their wouldn't be retaliation and push backs, but they are terribly wrong, china is currently a major player in world's economy and they are certainly not a nation that can be pushed around, the earlier Mr trump understand that the better, because this tariff that he is imposing on almost all nations that they can't boss around will do more damage to their economy than good.

That is fantastic news and exactly what I was suggesting in OP. People and governments of all countries need to start working seriously to diversify. As I said before they should just ignore US and start looking elsewhere.

I think President Donald Trump is demonstrating the power of the US,kind of showing the world That the US isn't weak.
I agree but he thinks he is doing that but everything he has done so far has proved the opposite. Meaning before the illusion that US is still strong was alive among some people but now that illusion is being shattered for more people every day.

The world is seeing the true face under the mask now. They see millions of Americans who are protesting across US after the worsening economic situation. Many of them are using the term fascist to describe the current administration (eg. the Yale university professor Jason Stanley who recently left US calling it a "fascist dictatorship").

He has been failing on all of his promises as well. No peace in Ukraine, no peace in Gaza, he started a new war in the Red Sea as well where US navy is getting bombed daily because of it. and so on...

Do they think they are better than every other people around the world?
Yes. The US regime does actually think that!

And what Trump is doing comes with a lot of harshness for people and it will affect the economy because other countries or people will love to do business with countries that love cheaper importation fees, and you will see that the US will start running out of business, and these are factors that he was supposed to have considered before implementing these decisions, and Trump is radical because whenever he makes a decision, he wants the decision to be followed with disagreement.

I don't know the reason why Trump is acting like this because this is not his first time, so where is all this coming from? The challenge now is that you can not always depend on your own products, and either way, it's affecting both your country and others, so what is now the point of implementing?

He's going about it the wrong way, I see some people on the media praising him and saying the Chinese companies would all run to US thereby cause the Chinese economy to crumble but they don't really know the implications of what Trump is doing, sooner or later they'll realise when the price of gadgets increases to the point that an average person can't afford to buy or replace their old gadgets.

Even though he wants to increase the Tarrif he would've done it gradually atleast 2-4% on different intervals, that won't cause much panic but he choose to increase it above 100% and it's caused lot's of panic that's affecting both the stock and crypto market, his actions makes me wonder if he's a bitcoin advocate like he claims to be cause he's causing things to go the other way round.

With China tariffs now at 145, that means China will respond and make it even higher for their own, and then Trump will make USA more, and then China will make more, and it will keep going.

We are not going to end up getting any good results out of this, the tariffs could be unlimitedly increased and we will face a ton of economical problems. I am saying this as a person who is neither Chinese nor American, even we will feel the trouble about this, look at the markets and see how it is getting harder to do any of these. I am sure that we can make this work one way or another. But, for the time being we need to be careful with all of this, otherwise we are not going to make any benefits from it, and all I see is danger.

Nothing gives me joy than to see a country standing tall and confronting a bully against all odds. That is why we need another powerful economic bloc to check the excesses of the US. There is no better time for BRICS nations to unite like this. Nobody wins a tariff war, but Trump is acting like the US is immune to the effects but this pretence is gradually adding. The US should be ready for an increase if there is a further tariff hike.

That is fantastic news and exactly what I was suggesting in OP. People and governments of all countries need to start working seriously to diversify. As I said before they should just ignore US and start looking elsewhere.

That would be VERY LAUGHABLE because, if they do that, then what would happened to them if the U.S. and China actually come to a deal? Let's not discredit the FACT that China needs the U.S. because it's its largest consumer for its goods manufactured in their country.

What might actually happen in this current instance is other countries, especially E.U. countries, will play both sides and profit more from the situation than the U.S. and China.

 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There is no way to make USA benefit from this, and they are not aware of this. He is not an economist, he just does this because he believes it would help, but the reality is that it won't and people are acting as if they are doing us a benefit with all of this, but they are not economists and they know nothing on these tariffs.

Trump just thinks about how it makes him look, and he thinks if he attacks other nations, and makes the deals bigger and all that, like a businessman, then he is going to look strong against other nations, that's all he cares about, how powerful he looks. He doesn't realize that he is a businessman who bankrupted bunch of companies and never had a successful company in his life and he is in shit ton of debt, so he is doing the same to USA now.

The new understanding is not "make America great again", it is basically "make America alone". Some say that will be good, because while they are not trading or even being friends with other nations, they assume they are spending way too much on other nations to begin with, and not spending on this would make them richer, so whatever comes from tariff downside, would be covered from this.

Plus, remember that taxes are the most important income for a government and if people do not make money, they can't be taxed, and these tariff will cause a lot of expense not just for the people but for the government too. I have no clue how USA plans to get out, but they are in big trouble at the moment and they have no way out for now.
