I know the odds are very similar to what the odd would have been for the Chelsea versus Tottenham that has just been played. Chelsea won.

When the match ended, I checked my Stake.com account to see the little amount that I won but I did not see anything. I clicked on settled bet to know that I chose another league.

I laughed immediately. I can not say I am happy about it but I am neither sad and I am chilling right now and excited. Just a tiny amount of money.

I hope this will serve as a lesson to some people that can make this kind of mistake. The reason I brought it here.

Sorry for the costly mistake, because no amount of money is too small to lose, we earn our money and should gamble as we wanted with it, nevertheless, i have seen a case similar to this before, whereby the gambler made a mistake and that landed him into fortune and the intended one does not come as expected.

Also, when choosing a team for bet, we should be mindful of the name they bear and see that such is their actual name and nothing added or removed from it, because by the time we would have selected the wrong game, the next we see is that it changed our league and some may not even noticed until the match end and we see that we are holding on someting different from what we have been expecting.

Looks like you were so much in a rush to stake on the game probably because it was live already and you didn't want to miss the bet, I could be wrong with guess but something must have been a typical reason to why you made this mistake if you have not made such mistakes before. Sorry about this, and the good thing is that you didn't stake with the amount that would have broken your heart seeing this. It is programmed with the use of AI and machine learning. Nothing more than it is programmed but I do not think it is programmed by the sportbook if it is available on other sportbook but I am not sure. I just know that I can not go for this kind of match. I chose Chelsea to win or draw because I know it is contesting with Manchester City and Manchester United for Champions League qualification next season. SRL does not work like that.

This is a very funny incident and I am glad you did not stake alot of money for that. This particular thing hasn't happened to me but I have experienced something very similar.
I remember when I played Tottenham Hotspurs against Manchester United in the EFL cup. I actually meant to take Manchester City win but unfortunately or should I say fortunately I selected Tottenham Hotspurs unknowingly. After the end of the game Tottenham Hotspurs won I was sad until I checked and I saw I had won, I really felt good about it.

Even after reading this topic, anyone can still make the same exact mistake, it takes just a little off concentration to make the mistakes since they both have Chelsea and Tottenham in the starting club name.

Was it a dying minute bet, because if you had checked the game earlier, like a few hours before the start of the game, you would have noticed to cash out your initial amount and restaked on the correct teams. This is quite an interesting one because the fact is many gamblers will not notice that they placed the bet on the wrong team until they definitely went back to cross check. Besides who would have actually thought Tottenham would have an odd as bis as that.

I have seen a lot of times in this board where you made mention of using a very small amount of your capital to gamble, it is good you’re keeping to that and with such mistakes, you won’t feel bad that you’ve lost much money. Wow this is heartbreaking honestly,and I know how much it must have meant to you only to have yourself in such huge mess. I think when we bet on any game we should be more careful inorder not to make some silly mistakes that will be regretful. Gambling is a beautiful thing especially when you do it responsibly and know when to stop. I think I have made similar mistakes some time ago but it wasn't the club but rather the amount in which I used to gamble, it was like a dream but when I realized I hated myself for that mistakes. This was a tough game tonight and it really hurts when one doesn't get pinned on a particular game, what more can we observe and take in? This kind of issues has happened to me too, when I was trying to chose another match and I wrongly choosed  another one and I could not cross check the matches I booked, what causes such is lose of focus and attention, I will say that this situation is general something and it happened mostly when you're inquisitive on a game your book online, but when you bet manually it will not happen to you.
