I have seen the whole situation going on in California and it is pretty messy and quite reckless of Trump to use literal military personal to crush protestors, specially in the state of California which Trump does know he is not welcome there in Los Angeles.
As far as I have researched, there have been literal agents of the government taking people and trying to deport them, without being even sure those people are those people who are getting detained are there in California legally or not. They had to release a pregnant woman (who was an American citizen) because they thought she was a illegal Mexican immigrant, it is completely dystopian and a tragedy what it is going on in California and who people are being targeted just because of the way they look.
In Los Angeles if you look like a Latino,.there is a non zero change you will get targeted by immigration agents...

From the first time I thought of going I felt fear and it pissed me off so I knew then that I would be going.
Of course going out this time made me think 2x because Trump is saying we're insurrectionists and the news has been focused on the usual 1 mile in LA.
I saw some news reports (that I came to post) comparing the protests to his "parade" ----I felt like the lord answered a prayer of mine to bruise this man's ego.

No amount of hatred for Trump or improvement in voting systems will ever be sufficient to get people to personally participate in government. Voting once a year is isn't even a start for people to participate in government if they have not properly researched the candidates and researched what the previous candidate has done in office which wasn't appropriate.

Look at Europe, they have better voting systems than the USA, but they fail at respecting people basic human rights to own property, own weapons, and speak freely. Europe is by an authoritarian and hostile place to live in comparison.

The first thing they did when they got a nuke was blow up tends of thousands of civilians... what is to a normal human being considered an act of murder carrying a sentence of life in prison. So if an organization who has murdered 10,000+ people can have a nuclear bomb, then clearly anyone can own any thing by logic of common sense.

The most murderous groups in existence is the CCP, and they also have nuclear bombs, highly dangerous devices that murder millions of people in minutes. Therefore by extension it is self-evident that all humans have a right to own all things.

Please provide sources on how people in Europe are prevented from private property. Weapons in Europe are controlled - you can have a weapon but you need to pass a very basic mental health test in most places and have a reason to use it. The main reason is that we do not want people shooting their school mates nor our presidents from a barn roof.

Freedom of speech is in good health through Europe. You can say pretty much anything other than calling to crime, hate or promoting the 4th Reich. I think that is quite reasonable.

What you may find trouble with in Europe is if you intend to spread fake news, promoting pure propaganda, Kremlin narratives or the like. But even doing so, you mostly can, but you will be challenged. Again, reasonable in these days and age.

While having a superior way of communicating doesn't necessarily make me a superior person to any other person, it does cause other people to be more receptive to my ideas. I agree the topic is protests, so you're warmly welcome to respond in ways that connect back to protests. But, if you bring up something that isn't about protests, such as how superior on person is to another (which is something you brought up), or the Heritage Foundation, since you're the OP, I certainly feel welcome to drift into such topics. While I suppose people might be superior to other people, I'll entirely leave that up to the divine realm to figure out as it is not helpful to mere humans to contemplate that topic which you have brought up. Perhaps putting a full on stop to off-topic ideas without continuing them in any way, shape, or form, is the best way to get back to the core topic. Online when people were posting anonymously it felt like trolling or their own insecurity until it started going "mainstream".

Free speech in America includes Neo-Nazi's (Unite the Right is a good example) this has certainly tested my belief in those protections over the last 10 years.

To live in a hierarchical society means that plenty of people will struggle with "where they fit into the scheme of things" and many people will go through it at one point in their existence: this struggle with their own identities but too many lack the introspection and instead allow the lessoning or vilification of 'the others'.

It is costing us our humanity and while it isn't a new thing I really wish we were past it already.
