Duckdice.io stealing $1100 balance

Hi all, my close friend created an account and is KYC there. After running his account up with sports betting he tried to withdrawal 3.5 SOL with $1100 left in his account. After hit withdrawal his account was under review and eventually his withdrawal went through along his account was blocked. After emailing them they accuse him claiming he “ probably broke terms of service” failing to give any proof of it, claiming he broke terms of service “ probably “ by bonus or arbitrage when he don’t know what that is and he never took a bonus from them. After posting on trust pilot they respond he was 100% arbitrage betting.

The thing is how is betting on winners is arbitrage betting? I know what arbitrage in trading is but I had to look this up on this one. It’s similar I found out. But how can someone been accused for arbitrage betting when you only betting who is going to win? My friend is betting live during the tennis match. I feel this industry is a joke sometimes. Especially when someone is actually winning. Without any proof they block your account and steal your money. Please let a representative come in and bring proof. His username is Iqojahuwum291

I also recently learnt about the term "arbitrage betting" from a similar case not so long ago, from what i understand, to do arbitrage betting, you have to do it in two or more casinos, so how can a casino detect arbitrage betting. Hopefully their support member will show up and say something about this.

according to their terms he should get a refund of the initial deposit.

casinos really do not like people who do arbitrage since that eats into their profits, and it's almost against the terms on all of them.

but if you are actually doing arbitrage with a calculator to maximize your profit, your bets would look like something like $22.5, $134.7, etc... which is a dead giveaway.
even if you round your bets to have no decimal points, it's still easy to detect since normal players don't bet like that.

OP says that the user made only one bet and won, so how exactly does this turn into arbitrage betting? I am still trying to understand.
@badpeanut, you will probably have to try Casinoguru or askgamblers where they will be compelled to provide proof that shows that the user actually did arbitrage betting. Without much proof of screenshots from any of the parties, it's had for us to know what made them accuse your friend or if they just made it up.

OP's friend was able to withdraw 3.5 SOL, but according to the OP, his friend still had $1100 in the account before it was blocked, so from all indications, the friend is owed $1100. If the balanace was empty, i don't think they will bother, they will just move on to another casino and play there.

@badpeanut, you will probably have to try Casinoguru or askgamblers where they will be compelled to provide proof that shows that the user actually did arbitrage betting.

casinoguru doesn't mediate sports, so his only option is askgamblers, and i don't think that would result in anything sadly.
their judgment will probley be "they are just following their terms" so we can't help you.

yeah, that's the case unfortunately. some casinos will limit you to a few dollars per bet, some will void your wins, some will block your account and refund your deposit, and the worst of them all are the ones who confiscate your whole balance and tell you to fuck off.

Good thing that you have actually established contact based on this case, now we wait and see. I also agree with you that OP should exhaust all options of a resolution here first, before moving to other platforms for a solution.

So it's really a simple situation, our sports provider ( a big one being used by a lot of big casinos that are offering sports betting) has flagged your account as an arbitrage/abuse bettor, or your friend's account. I'll not disclose which sports provider we use, as that effectively will help people arbitrage betting to avoid detecting, but due to their extensive access to multiple databases they can easily spot such cases.

While our procedure is in such cases to simply ban the account and allow withdrawals of only the deposited amounts, I believe you were able to withdraw 2x your deposits.



Seems we've been bombarded with this type of situations, arbitrage bettors, for refference, our sportsbook section is a monthly loss probably since we went live with it and I've recommended to the Duckdice higher-ups to simply remove it as the abuse, being unprofitable, the  "my friend has an account" bitcointalk threads + the trustpilot reviews are simply not worth it .

i would prefer that as well, but the thing is, it wasn't OP account that got blocked, and since he is not directly involved, i'm not sure if Kirito89 will/can share any evidence here.
hence why i suggested his friend should go directly to AG since that will be faster to get a resolution than him playing telephone between the casino and his friend.

OP, I previously asked all of us to sit still while I paged Kirito89 and get DuckDice's side. With his explanation above, where we'll need a third party verifier to prove the innocence/guilt, this is where our deescalation end and it's time to resort to ADR, who can verify evidences submitted and owned by DD of the said counter-accusation.

You don't need to wait 24-H [this is the confirmation I was asking them], you can submit it now, they'll address to the ADR with proof once inquired.
