~snip~ People would happily buy it and one of those people is me. I would sell other assets like gold to buy Bitcoin because it was once a part of what it once was. If I say it’s impossible, anything can happen in the market. But I think experienced investors with the first implication would just take a deep breath and then they’d probably relax.
Yeah, same here. There is a lot of people that will continue to buy Bitcoin at any price, really. There are also a lot of people that already have orders for buying at different prices, all the way down to a few hundreds, so the way back would be very, very slow.

If there is a condition that makes people unable to buy bitcoin because there is no money, then under certain conditions, whatever the price of bitcoin in the future, we will continue to see the buying process taking place. Now there are many orders made by people and maybe the price varies quite a bit because people realize that in conditions like this we need to make some efforts to continue buying. Bitcoin will be the best asset in the long term, so I am sure that no matter what the price is, there will still be buyers. There is no need to worry about this because the process of bitcoin being launched until now, many things have changed people's views on the future of bitcoin itself.

Pls don't misunderstand, just an assumption: if Bitcoin were to reach $500 again today, do you think people would still be willing to buy?
Who does that? bitcoin falling to $500 is same as falling to zero because only few people can say that they bought bitcoin and hodl when the price was less than $500 and how will they feel after seeing their investment rise to $109k and fall back to $500 which is impossible because before bitcoin will fall that low will mean that all the big players in the market have sold all their bitcoins. I think we shouldn't even bring up topics like this because it makes no sense deliberately on what will not happen even if a major chaos happen around the world.

If govt's ban bitcoin it's going to get dumped because ppl don't want their investment valued to nothing. Investors will try to get some thing back or else they'll lose the total investment. If bitcoin's back at $500 there's going to be many ppl who'll buy it. Pls don't misunderstand, just an assumption: if Bitcoin were to reach $500 again today, do you think people would still be willing to buy?

If Bitcoin drops back to $500, I would see it as great opportunity. Lot of big investors and institutions also enter the market at a time when everyone is selling out of fear. They are applying this strategy for a long time . Bitcoin has seen many falls in its history, and it has returned to a much higher price than before.
It is certainly painful for those who bought it for $10k, $20k or more. But that is also part of investing there is no profit without risk. And this incident may teach more people how important it is to do your own research in any investment.
Finally, I would say someone can distrust digital currencies, but that is not the fault of the technology, but rather the result of a lack of understanding.
So yes, if Bitcoin were $500 today, I would definitely buy it because I see it not as a threat, but as a future opportunity.

Yeah temporarily since we cannot erase the fact that lots of negative sentiments will be thrown to Bitcoin if that situation happen. But I strongly believe that same with other bad incident happen people will still buy Bitcoin especially for those people knows about his movement and also potential. Although it may take for Bitcoin long to get another great pump. For sure if everything settle ups and Fuds goes Bitcoin will recover and those investor believes on it will gain good profits. I know that people may hard to trust this coin back again. But I believe that there's still a potential recovery since there's still lots of people willing to buy Bitcoin even if it dumps at $500.

In my opinion, it would have two implications. Firstly, it would likely have ruined many people's investments and life savings, considering those who bought in at $10k, $20k, or even $100k. Secondly, it would reinforce the skepticism of those who don't trust digital currencies due to their perceived unreliability. So, if it happens, would you still buy it?
Ideal and experienced investors are never afraid to invest in Bitcoin, only weak hands are afraid to invest in Bitcoin and when the price is dumping in the Bitcoin market, they sell Bitcoin. I never believe that Bitcoin will reach $500 (and if it does, I will definitely buy Bitcoin and hold it for a long time). However, such an opportunity naturally arose in late 2022 and early 2023 when the price of Bitcoin touched $15k. Those who invested in Bitcoin at that time are the most self-sufficient at present, and those who were weak investors sold Bitcoin at that time and the owners of the Bitcoins they sold are regretting it now.

Yeah, same here. There is a lot of people that will continue to buy Bitcoin at any price, really. Not wrong, because the sale and purchase activity continues to be active every day without stopping — depends on the size and small according to the ability of the money they have. There are also a lot of people that already have orders for buying at different prices, all the way down to a few hundreds, so the way back would be very, very slow.
It is no different from the current conditions. There are people who are afraid when prices fall. There are people who are afraid of rising conditions. Both have different reasons too.

Those who are still holding Bitcoin since 2022 are currently making very good profits, and they will definitely be able to hold Bitcoin for another 10 years in the future, because if they can truly understand the 3-year Bitcoin movement from 2022 to the present, then they will definitely be able to believe in the future possibilities of Bitcoin, because they are now mentally stronger and more mature. And because of this, they will be able to keep their investment for a much longer period. But, those who sold their Bitcoin at that time, And deprived of current success and now just regretting for it, they should not look at the past, just think about the future possibilities and try to fully utilize the opportunities for future profits. Bitcoin will continue to be valuable over time, but the longer you delay investing in Bitcoin, the more you will fall behindof getting success.

Bitcoin will continue to be valuable over time, but the longer you delay investing in Bitcoin, the more you will fall behindof getting success. And that is why Michael Saylor said that even if the price of Bitcoin reaches one million, I will still buy Bitcoin. Here he talked about the potential of Bitcoin that the future of this coin is good. Its price has been increasing since the origin of Bitcoin. We look at the days 10 years ago. Why 10 years ago, what was the price in 2021/22? Those who bought at that time are still making a lot of profit. And if we think about ten years later, think about it. When it was 16,000, I thought, let it go down a little bit, I will buy it when it goes down a little bit, but I didn't buy it anymore. Those who are not buying it now will say after five years, oh, if we had bought Bitcoin, we would have made a lot of profit. In fact, everything is like this. Although there are a lot of risks in cryptocurrency, I think the risk in Bitcoin is low.

Yes, it will seem catastrophic if it ever dipped to that point. Maybe from this price it's currently at –$84k+, it will be very alarming. However, we shouldn't also forget that Bitcoin has also had several down moments where a lot of investors sold off hurriedly in fear. We saw it get to around $3k after it tested $19k ATH in 2017. It later picked and did above $68k in 2021. So, there will be some that will also harbour that feeling that Bitcoin would pick even if it were to touch $500. I would consider it an opportunity to own a whole Bitcoin if that scenario were to present itself now.

FUD is the main reason why people become weak hands. When they begin to hear negative in the global and political space and the price begin to drop, fear of the unknown will make them it begin to sell. If Bitcoin ever gets to $500, which I doubt many people will lose money and it will affect the reputation of Bitcoin. Many people will not want to buy since it has been generally believed that it will never as low as that. But it will be a good oppurtunty to buy because the price might rebounds.

If Bitcoin falls down to 500 dollars then either something has gone horribly wrong or there exists a new, better alternative to Bitcoin which makes Bitcoin itself redundant. But that is not a very realistic scenario because we have a zillion altcoins now and nobody has been able to create something better than Bitcoin since it was first made public.

if that scenario happens it is indeed a big disaster and there will be a lot of media and people who will badmouth bitcoin and say that their prediction that it will crash one day will happen and there will be a lot of bitcoin holders' expectations destroyed. but i don't think that will happen, because only extraordinary events can cause that scenario to happen, such as bitcoin encryption failure, or other extraordinary things... but that is only the worst case scenario and i don't think that will happen because we have core developers, miners, and holders, who maintain the bitcoin ecosystem.

If Bitcoin goes down to $500, can you imagine its market cap would be? At the moment, its market cap is $1.67 trillion. If the price falls to $500, then its market cap will be approximately $10 billion, 170 times lower. On CoinMarketCap, it will be ranked lower than Cardano (10th) but higher than Chainlink (12th). If Bitcoin reaches $500 again, it will have its reasons and to my mind this will be a clear message that Bitcoin lost its dominance but at the same time since its market cap might be still in top 10, lots of people will start heavy investing in Bitcoin with the hope that it's all temporary and Bitcoin will reach its ATH one day.
Wrong. Bitcoin won't be ranked lower than altcoins once its market cap goes all the way down the drain in an instant. That's because the crypto market is too reliant on BTC. It depends on Bitcoin as some kind of "reserve currency". So if Bitcoin goes down, so will the rest of the other altcoins. We'll be going back to the "Stone Age" if Bitcoin goes all the way down to $500, though. However, I believe that's very unlikely to happen anytime soon. Bitcoin is already deep into the mainstream, so whales, institutional investment companies, and businesses, won't allow it to go down any further. They will buy large amounts of BTC, propelling its price to the moon. That's the way this works. Saying BTC will go to $500 or even $0, is like saying Gold will become worthless in the long run. Not now, or in another century. Just buy, "hodl", and forget about the rest.

Whether Bitcoin is 500k or 500 dollars, those who don't love or believe in Bitcoin will never be interested in investing. However, those who believe in Bitcoin and are interested in investing will invest in any market at any time, taking risks. However, one thing is that if Bitcoin suddenly drops from $85,000 to $500, then a kind of question arises among all investors about Bitcoin: will Bitcoin actually survive? Those holding Bitcoin will be struck with a kind of fear and will lose all their life savings and become completely speechless.

The thing is that the price of Bitcoin has dropped substantially many times, and so far it has came back soaring and getting new all time highs, time and time again. If for some strange situation the price of Bitcoin goes to $500 I would make sure to buy a bunch of coins, and I'm sure many others would do the same, making the price soar again. So, in reality, I think it's quite difficult to bring the price of Bitcoin down at that level.

That's why, for many others reasons too, BTC wouldn't fall off so much, because that would mean so many companies / people getting drained on so many of their positions.. I don't see scenarios for it happening other than some crypto reckoning or Ragnarok of sorts.
