I do not think it is laziness that is causing it but ignorance. You can not do what you do not know. But it would be very funny not to know to research about a gambling site or any site before you decide to register on the site. I remember before I joined this forum, I always research about the gambling site before I will make use of it. But some people are just very ignorant to the extent that they registered on a scam or fake gambling site or a a site that is not reputable at all.

No, it's laziness 100%. You read people writing that users should always read the ToS before trying out a site, or read their ann thread. Noone reads either really, especially not the ToS because it's just too long and tedious to read.

Gamblers want to jump from site to site and get paid ASAP when they win. Plain and simple. They are too ADHD or whatever to take the time to read anything, they were just told by someone to try this site out and they depo. Then when the site turns out to be scummy, they open a thread here and hope we do their work for them.

Can we also classified them as people who are desperate on forging ahead to make account without them understand the terms of the gambling site may due to the bonuses the casino/betting have already promised them?
Most gambling site uses a catchy title where almost all gamblers wouldn't have interest to go read their Terms Of Service, maybe they could be chase after the ref bonuses then ended up landing themselves into creating multiple account using same IP since most of the gambling site highly prohibits the use of same IP in gambling site, sometimes they may decides to care about documents and submits a fake documentation and when they system detects that automatically their account could be either freeze or halted for cheating at this point you immediately see them creating an accusation against the casino.

I agree, but there is a problem. Many gamblers, who posted negative reviews and scam accusations weren't involved in Bitcointalk.org before getting scammed.
They just played on the casino, got scammed, and then they just come here and create brand new accounts in order to post scam accusations. Obviously they weren't familiar with the forum and the announcement threads before getting scammed.
Anyway, every gambler must do his own research before spending his money/crypto on a brand new online casino.

You are absolutely right, this is a major issue with most gamblers I must say, and it's simply the lack of research before deciding to play or gamble on a casino they have never used or gambled on before.

And even if the casino is one they have played on before but have been away from it for a long time, it is still very important for the gambler to perform some research on the casino before deciding to gamble on that casino again, this will help him or her to ensure that everything is still OK with the casino just as it was when he or she last played there, we all know it is commonly said that "one thing that is constant in life is change" researching before playing on any old or new casino helps alot.

It is nice you have brought up this topic, Sir, because I have been noticing the same thing too, and there is the possibility that most of the members account raising up scam accusations against these inactive casinos are established members too who wouldn't want to use their real account to lay complaints because they know they would be reprimanded for their actions as established members here. Although some of the complainants might be new members but I believe the majority of them are probably established members. 

Members should learn to do a thorough research on the casino first by looking for their profiles here to knowing how active they are and also possibly asking questions about the casino for knowledgeable members who have tried the casino to say something about them before they go further to get registered with them because that would help them a lot in saving them the stress of having issues in the long run.

I mean the blame isn't necessarily on them all the time. Like the prerequisite of knowing about this forum and finding about the casino itself is already difficult imo since some gamblers don't necessarily have an account here. And as you've said, some of them may have inactive representative sin the forum so either way, there's still going to be instances of players who wouldn't know that the casino is basically pretty risky or that any support from them is gone since, well, they're AWOL.

Honestly just playing on big name casinos would probably be for the best.

Reading the ANN thread and reading the terms on casino websites is very important, but lets face it, most of the people are lazy and they are not doing it.
I am not talking only about scams, there are limitations with each casino, minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal, KYC verification rules, and other things.
For scam I would check if some casino have topics against them in bitcointalk scam board.

Actually that is really the idea thing to do by most of people, but unfortunately not everyone is familiar about forum existence.

Most of casino have multiple marketing campaigns in different platforms that's why we cannot assume that people would know that they have a thread here. That's why somehow reading and wanting to know their current reputation.

 But maybe if those people got compromised would just do their research early then provably that they will be saved from possible scams especially if they read those bad feedbacks posted on the casino threads.

Right now there's no excuse for people not to learn what they want to ask or verify since information is easy find especially if they know how to use the internet.

If you look at my comments, I have been advising all players (old and new) for years to start with this forum and BTCGosu. Double checking is always better, each check contributes in its own way. I know the difference between the two and who I trust more, that comes with years of activity.

And it seems like I made a good choice, I have been gambling for years without any serious problems. Some little things here and there, but that's all normal.

Most of the time, gamblers that doesn’t have a Bitcointalk account is doing this kind of lazy things before they gamble. They only rely on social media such as X, telegram and discord to background check the casino reputation while some shady casino usually hire a shill user that will post good thing about the casino on their social media account.

The advantage of forum over social media is shilling can be easily spot and user can warned other players for the shill in case they are spreading fake review.

Thats the beauty on having this community is that you can be able to check out some real feedback and advises. Whenever there's something new specially on casinos and making out some ANN threads then people would be usually asking in regarding about everything and if its been answered it out promptly and the public or community has been that satisfied then they might be able to get that kind of initial approval that this is a good site or platform. Next post that you do need up to read is into those real time feedbacks in regarding about site features and user experience. Whether we do like it or not that there are people who are that risking out their funds on testing out the site and  give out real time feedbacks on which this is very helpful for the community.

To be fair, some create an account here to make a complaint after they have been scammed. They discover this forum in their search for a solution, same way they can find a subreddit to complain after they have been scammed. Active users here, I would assume, would know how to rate casinos with presence here and decide which to play on.

There is also the huge possibility that a player can be scammed by a casino that is active here and with no significant bad reviews.

You are right. But I have seen even old users getting scammed from casinos that are inactive on the forum. I can't recall the thread, but likely I have seen many people still scamming by 1Xbet, though they are well-known scammers around the forum. I don't ignore a few people; I just create an account to create scam accusations, though they don't bother to search before getting scammed.

I just mean to read the announcement thread so they would have an idea about a casino. I know a well-known casino would scam us, but very rarely. They at least try to solve the issue raised against them. Most of the casinos don't want to lose their reputation here. So, at the end of the day, we get a solution from here if they care about reputation.

That's a good advice unfortunately not all threads have relevant reviews and some threads are active because some promotions are posted into it but representatives are not responding to users actually, so users should be careful about that, and don't think the casino is safe just because they saw the ANN regulary bumped in the first pages. In addition many members are not gamblers and just randomly post on those threads because they are required to post into the gambling section for their bounty campaign.

Good advice op, but the fact is that most gamblers who post scam accusations within this forum never knew about it and only created accounts here in order to try and reclaim their money which usually ends in a losing cause.

This is why most accounts who post those scam accusations are brand new or newbie accounts. They don't research sites properly before investing and end up regretting later on.

Believe me, most of these scam accusations are created by newbie accounts and brand-new accounts. That means, those members did not know about this forum. If they don't know about the forum, how can we expect them to check the announcement thread of a certain casino? Probably they found the casino from online affiliate website or from social media like X.

Once they get scammed, they search on Google about where to complain against the casino and then discover there is a forum where they can create scam accusations. This is what happens most of the times. But yeah, sometimes old members of this forum get scammed by casinos. It's because they do not bother to check the ann thread.

Yeah, every online casino sure have information about their service online somewhere, so even if such information is not avaliable on this forum, a simple Google search will show results of other places or platforms where other gamblers are discussing or posting ratings, reviews of services of that casino we intend doing or carrying out a research on.

There are a lot of opportunities on the internet and even in the gambling scene, and most of this opportunities appear as opportunities but it's a trap if only we can invest the time to dig deep in research, and doing this requires reading, this is why those who don't read on the internet will often jump from one mistake to another.
