My gambling budget gets refilled every week with 1% of my weekly income, it seem small but this is all I am willing to lose, I don't want to end up destroying my goals in life all because I believe that gambling can get me there faster, what is that's not the case?.

I win sometimes and I lose more often but my risk tolerance is what keeps me from moodswings and other, I done feel that I am losing anything because I risk so small amount, and how big I win will never make me increase my gambling budget.

The only way I can increase my gambling budget is if I am making 2x of my weekly income then I can start using 2% of my weekly income to gamble, I can't assure anyone that they will win while gambling but I am 100% sure that losses will come for them..

Although I have a budget for my gambling activities every week but I have understood that this budget varies.

I am big on sport betting so my betting budget goes higher each week that we would have more game days including the week days and weekend. My budget is reduced when the only game days would be on weekends.

Honestly I never consider my gambling budget to fixed yeah it varies based on how much I consider to be discretionary enough to gamble with, I don't gamble just on weekly but on weeks that I see there are games more convincing enough for me to gamble, there are also weeks that I may have more expenses to the extend I may not even consider gambling, that is to say gambling budget should be adjustable either weekly or monthly and for me when it comes to per session my budget varies too based on how I feel the possibility of the game playing even though nothing is guarantee but yeah I still consider my boundaries paramount.

The first question is really tough. Yes, I do adjust my budget, but not to the extent that I will go over the line, which is damaging the family's budget. The only adjustment is when I feel like the winning mode is near, and I will try just a little bit of deposit money. If ever it loses, that's it.

Per session. I have an amount set for the day, and as much as possible, I will never go as far as doubling that budget for the entire day. Let's always remember, those casinos will always be there. There's no hurry.

TV Series. When I lost, I would not mind just watching TV series that I like and that will consume my time for the whole day, giving me control to avoid depositing again.

I dont have fixed gambling budget because I usually used any money remaining from my income after I spent it for all my bills and needs.
Of course not the whole remaining of my income will be spent for gambling, only some of the remaining money only.
Since what I have to pay for my bills and needs is changing from time to time, that's why I have no fixed gambling budget.

it's all about the level of risk i'm willing to take. my expectations and the risk of my bet allow me to adjust my budget.

for example, an investment i make just to have fun and maybe spin some slots is about half of what i would bet on a match. i prefer to gamble with smaller amounts more often than with very large amounts. this allows me to have fun more of the time, but at the same time i don't get too upset when i lose the money.

that's my suggestion, even if it's a few dollars, spend less money but get the chance to do it more often.

I prefer to have a weekly budget, this keeps my gambling activities in check and I follow my plans strictly. In order not to get carried away when I start losing I keep the money I don't need urgently in a different account that I wouldn't be able to withdraw or send into my bet account easily. Doing this will help you reduce the amount of money you spend on gambling and also help you to become more disciplined. It's not only about having a budget you must also put up measures in place for you to follow your plans.

Gambling budget = responsible gambling, any gambler that doesn't have a budget for their gambling can be easily controlled by emotions and greed. Your budget keeps you in check so that you don't over gamble, either by chasing loses or being overconfident to continue after you win. I choose weekly budget for my gambling and I'll rather not exhaust the bankroll and carry it over to another week than gambling above it. I can only adjust the budget if my income increases or decreases, I focus on the percentage that I use for gambling purposes. I have set budget use to gamble. If I lose that's already the end of my gambling session. Every payday (bi-weekly in my day job) I set aside 5% of my salary for leisure. That's the amount I can afford, regardless of I win or lose. My bankroll should not exceeds to what is suppose to be use.

No, I'm not.

Win or lose, it should be fixed, and it could be 2% over my monthly financial budget.  I will refill it at the end of the month.
We should maintain the right discipline towards ourselves in gambling.  If you lose an amount you can afford, then stop and return when you have refilled your gambling budget.  Knowing those I mentioned above will also help you to avoid being gambling addict.

I don't have a budget to start with but what I make sure of is that the money I deposit on an online site or take to a land-based casino is money that is not a large amount for me and that I write off as lost the moment I deposit it. If I am lucky I withdraw. If not, I've written it off anyway and it doesn't affect me.

Setting budget is very important when it comes to gambling cause it helps against overspending and it's also one of the ways of avoiding addiction cause you'll know you have to stop once you've exceeded your budget and it should be done either weekly or monthly and according to your income and how much you can afford to spare in case of lose since gambling is 50/50 chance. Yes a budget can be adjusted based on ones income or as their financial capacity increases, let's say you were earning $1k monthly and you use 5% for gambling then your income increases to $2k you can decide to increase your gambling budget to 5% of the new income if you can afford to spare it to gambling and what helps one to maintain discipline and avoid spending outside their budget is self control/ discipline which are some of the traits a responsible gamblers should have.

I think this should depend on the gambler. Since we all get our income from different sources and in different times… For others it might be easier to do weekly budget. While for some, they don’t mind to just refill every month. Maybe it may even help them control their gambling expenses.

Of course! I always adjust my budget depending on the outcome of my gambling spree. Though I rarely bet after a big win, I do sometimes bet again just to try out my luck and to see if I can continue the streak. I usually do 1-2 bets after a winning streak just to test the waters.

I have a designated budget on the income that I receive. For example, 5% is allotted to recreational activities which also includes gambling, etc.

Staying in control makes you limit your expenditure. The problem with experiencing a loss is that you experience a feeling that you want to get back. Like when someone punches you, you have the natural response to punch back. The same applies to gambling- after a loss, you feel like you want to bet again to chase/recover your losses.

Or lets say that this is the most important thing to consider when dealing up with gambling on which you do need to stick with a strict and fixed budget. The most common mistake for gamblers is that they do go beyond their limits or budget on which it causes up for them to take up some loan and that what makes it hard for them to have that recovery at the moment that they've put up themselves into that huge debt pit.
Gamble for fun then you wont be having any issues or problems and never tend to chase up those loses and once you have exhausted your gambling budget or allocation then simply stop and call it a day. My budget is always the same for the whole month. If by the end of the month I'm in profit, I withdraw them and keep the same amount that I started the month with. If not, I redeposit, but always the same amount. For me, this is the best way to be in control and know how I'm doing in general. So far, it works very well and it saves me from trouble.

A responsible gambler who has no gambling budget but times himself perfectly when he gambles is better than a gambler who has a gambling budget but never sticks to it.

Instead of creating budgets and adjusting them time without number, emphasis should be on self-consciousness.
