You made a huge observation, for someone that is overly obsessed with Bitcoin you'd expect their username to somehow include Bitcoin or BTC. Maybe it didn't come to his mind while choosing a username, that comes short of a full blown obsession. I don't think that it's necessary to be obsessed with Bitcoin, what is important is to have massive stash of it and to protect your seed phrase because it's your only legal document to your stash. But if being obsessed with Bitcoin will be a motivation to DCA and hodl for a long term, then by all means go ahead. Bitcoin is a hedge against inflation and a store of value so being a little bit obsessed with it can be ok but being overly obsessed is what I don't know about.

This is a curious thread.
Obsessed means that you can't stop doing something. With Bitcoin what happens to me is that I want to talk about it a lot. If this is considered an obsession then I am obsessed, but normally obsessions have a negative sense, whereas Bitcoin is only positive in my humble opinion.

I am obsessed with bitcoin because I cannot stop thinking about buying through DCA regularly and hodli. I am looking forward to see how many bitcoin I can accumulate in future. Infact, I talk about bitcoin all the time with my younger brother, encouraging him to keep investing and have trust in bitcoin for the future.

If you're obsessed about bitcoin, and you don't have any proof of it, it shows that you ain't a true bitcoin lover and you're preaching what you don't practice. Bitcoin has brought quite some good opportunities to the world.

All of us are obsessed with Bitcoin. The early adopters, the long term holders and the new one that are optimistic of holding it for the long term. We're all obsessed with it because this is the future that we're talking about. When people share the same passion, people will label us as a cult. And I want to put my obsession into the next level by owning some miners in the nearest future if ever the market provides better profit and the price of Bitcoin gets better. Maybe more than the past ATH that we've got recently so that I can avail maybe two or more miners and will be solar powered to save electricity.

The section where you posted the op is correct, now about your question, I'll just ask you first, what movie are you talking about here? bitcoin movie? what title? I'm just a little curious so I can watch it too. Because there are other movies I've watched that just insert bitcoin or cryptocurrency into the character lines for a few seconds because of AML (anti-money laundering).

I'm not obsessed with Bitcoin either, though I know that it really has potential in the long-term and since I can't afford to buy 1 bitcoin, I'm just going through accumulation
so that at least I can save some bitcoin for the next bull season.

My definition of obsession is different from yours, but anyways.

I'm good with anything Bitcoin related as afr as you are not doing the following all in the name of obsession.


1. Starving yourself because of Bitcoin.
2. Taking loans to accumulate Bitcoin.
3. Choosing a crime life because you want to accumulate Bitcoin.
4. Stressing yourself out to accumulate Bitcoin.

Health is wealth, you can end up with everything but no good body to enjoy your sweat, all the examples I wrote up there are something I've seen people do because of Bitcoin, so I am talking from experience.

You are good if you are doing it the right way.

I'd rather say that I'm very interested in what Bitcoin has to offer and see it as something that is revolutionary compared to what banking or other systems have to offer. That got my interest and made me think that it's a good thing and has potential for the future. You can call myself a "Bitcoin enthusiast".

I am very addicted to Bitcoin but I don't discuss Bitcoin with anyone because Bitcoin is not legal in my country. Since Bitcoin is not legal in my country, I have to use Bitcoin in secret from the public. I am not so much addicted to Bitcoin like you I use Bitcoin forums I invest in Bitcoin. I don't do Bitcoin mining I go ahead with investments. Bitcoin has changed my life I have now changed my life completely since I started using Bitcoin now I am living a very beautiful life.

Obsession will commit you to learning a lot and help you never get tired of any topic or subject that involves bitcoin, but you must also be careful because obsession can lead you to making irrational decisions that will be regretted. Obsession can have you speaking to individuals online who you should not be talking to, can have you visiting websites that you should not be visiting etc. Obsession can be good and can also be bad, so it is something to want to control.

I'm not sure if I'm obsessed or not, but 95% of my wealth is in Bitcoin. I do watch few videos about Bitcoin, but it mostly from great speakers like Andreas Antonopoulos, Luke Dash Jr, etc not some speakers who're mainly financial advisors or economist who're just hijacking to discuss about Bitcoin. I also read some of the Bitcoin development.

What I don't do are these thing:
1. Buy Bitcoin merch.
2. Check Bitcoin price everyday.
3. Play games to earn sat.
4. Mine Bitcoin with weak computer.
5. Read every news about Bitcoin.

I think I do obsessed, but I care about quality over quantity.
