There are so many different rules in different countries, sometimes even BTC is banned, yet there are still BTC transactions in these countries. How does it work? Is it easy to sell btc in your country, or to buy something with it? What have you bought, for example? Or what are you planning to buy?
Here in my country, it has always been easy to buy Bitcoin. All the major global exchanges are available, and it's very easy to register to buy and sell... maybe that will change in the future, since the government here is far-left, which means any tool that promotes freedom is viewed with suspicion... but as long as there are no problems, I’ll keep accumulating.

We sell Bitcoin through local exchanges easily because Bitcoin is legal here. But we can not use Bitcoin to buy something because that can break regulation from the government. If I want to buy something, I will sell Bitcoin, convert it into local fiat, withdraw it into my bank account. It is the way for people use their Bitcoin and they still using fiat to buy something.
I don't planning to buy something using Bitcoin because I want to accumulate Bitcoin and not use it. Maybe in other countries, they can use Bitcoin to buy something. While I have time to buy and hold, I choose that instead spend it to buy something.

Isn't not easy to spend Bitcoin in my country but that doesn't mean there's no Bitcoin transaction ongoing on the country. People doing this are doing it unofficially and there's a big market there because I see that Bitcoin trading volume is very high in my country. Bitcoin is decentralized hence it can be traded for goods or service without the government having any Idea what's happening. The same way Bitcoin is being used in the secret dark web for so illegal transactions so is Bitcoin being used for some legal transactions without the government or financial institutions knowing about it. Provided there's a mutual agreement between the two parties involved in the transaction, it can go on smoothly.

Why bother use to buy something when you can sell a little of it then change it to your respective legal tender and use to buy something

In My county it is a bit tough but not impossible, there are peer to peer platforms.Like i can sell my Bitcoin from binance to my local bank account. It's very easy and fast. I Have not bought anything large yet but I am thinking about acquiring some tech goods with bitcoins shortly.
That is technically cheating, anyone can sell coins at a P2P trading platform and thus get local currency to spend. I think OP is asking whether it's easy for you to spend in bitcoins in your home country or not. Most of the time, the answer will be no.

In my country, it's easy to sell Bitcoin, there are Bitcoin ATMs that let you withdraw without KYC, you can easily deposit Bitcoin to local exchange, convert into local currency and immediately withdraw to any local bank account but to be fair, it's very hard to spend Bitcoin if you really mean it. There aren't shops and services that accept Bitcoin or crypto transactions. If your aim is to convert Bitcoin to USD or local currency and then spend however you wish, then it's very easy and possible in my country.

Its easy to do buy and selling Bitcoin in our country since there are lots of platform here offering these kind of services. But for using Bitcoin directly to buy something what we need I struggle to find an offline merchants accepting it since adoption is not wide in that area and most of small businesses and even big doesn't accept Bitcoin since what they usually like to accept is traditional payment methods like using fiats. What I really want to see is that we can use Bitcoin directly to buy our basic needs, use it directly to pay our bills and other extra curricular things that can make us happy. But it seems its far for this situation to happen but looking forward to see this acceptance will happen in future.

In the country where I live, it is quite difficult to pay for something with cryptocurrency. And this is despite the fact that crypto has a rather gray status and it turns out that there is always a risk that after such a payment the tax authorities will come and start asking uncomfortable questions. However, the most common cryptocurrency payments I make are payments for gaming services and Telegram Premium. I also spend cryptocurrency to pay for servers and data download services. It is almost impossible to spend cryptocurrency on physical things or products in the country where I live.

Selling BTC in my country is very easier than any transaction you can think of in this modern era. In fact, it's much easier than performing any banking transaction you know as there are numerous vendors waiting for you to offer your coins for sell instead of standing in a long queue waiting for your turn in banks. I would love to buy things with bitcoin but the problem here is we have only few vendors who are willing to accept it as mode of payment since it has not been officially declared as acceptable currency for exchange of goods and services in my country. Although, this does not affect its daily usage as you can buy, sell, transfer, receive and hold freely with having problem.

Although Bitcoin has been legal in my country now, before that we were using it even though it was not legal here. Now, you may wonder how we were using it in our country even though it was not legal here all that time. All of us used to do P2P transactions and convert our crypto digital assets into fiat so that we could use them without having any trouble. Mate, in the last time when it was not legal, banks started to track users transactions, like where the money was coming from and what the source of the money was, and whenever they felt that this amount came from crypto-fiat conversion, they started to block users accounts who were involved in the crypto space. We had an alternative at that time; we used to use an alternate small banking system at that time that did not put any kind of inquiry, like where the funds came from and what the source of money was. But now it is legal in our country, and we can use it having no trouble.

You will have to wait and waste time with the bank if you go to the bank to use or handle services such as loans, insurance...but if it is payment, money transfer. I don't think you will have to wait or queue for the payment to be completed like bitcoin, it is almost instant and there are even no transaction fees. I would love to buy things with bitcoin but the problem here is we have only few vendors who are willing to accept it as mode of payment since it has not been officially declared as acceptable currency for exchange of goods and services in my country. Many people want bitcoin to be widely accepted as a currency and payment method in their country, and they always give the reason it is not legalized yet and few stores accept it. But my question is, would we be willing to use bitcoin for everyday payments if it were legalized? Most people try to accumulate as much as possible because everyone knows that bitcoin is an asset that increases over time and will make us rich. Using such a potential asset for everyday expenses is considered wasteful. Not to mention, we have to pay extra fees for each transaction, are people comfortable with that?

The free use of Bitcoin is completely prohibited in my country, especially since the central bank and government have completely banned its transactions and use. However, in my country, there are a lot of users, especially over four million users, who indirectly transact Bitcoin, disobeying the government and the law. However, no positive steps have been taken by the government so far. It is unlikely that the government and central bank will allow the use of Bitcoin in our country in the future.

For me personally, it is very easy to buy something with BTC (or with altcoins), and even trade with cryptocurrencies without KYC up to a certain amount, and even pay 0% profit tax if 2+ years have passed since the purchase. Seems too good to be true doesn't it? But all that is needed is one local payment processor and a law that says that the customer does not need to be identified for a transaction that does not exceed a certain amount. I think such things are possible in most democratic countries, but it all depends on whether there are people who will, so to speak, get things moving from a dead end. A concrete example, this is just one of the local sites where you can buy several hundred thousand products and pay with cryptocurrencies.

So far it's not easy to buy or sell Bitcoin along with other crypto in my country. Recently our government has formed a council with name Pakistan crypto council whose mandate is to draw a framework to regulate crypto in the country. The council has taken positive measures to legalise use of crypto in the country including appointment of Binance CEO as strategic adviser of PCC. The crypto community in the country hopes are with PCC to ease out use of crypto in the country.

Most merchants in my country didn't accept Bitcoin, so it's really hard to spend Bitcoin to buy something. I see no reason for offline stores to accept Bitcoin, it's high likely people not gonna pay in Bitcoin for many reasons. Including myself, even now cashless becomes popular, I still pay using cash in most of the time.
If we're talking about anonymity, for me cash is more private than Bitcoin, only Monero can compete against the privacy level that cash has.

Since Bitcoin isn't banned in our country, it is easy to sell Bitcoin in our country. I mean I don't know if P2P transactions thru an exchange is still prohibited in the countries where Bitcoin is banned, but in our case, it's good that our government doesn't care about Bitcoin that much, or at least they aren't saying anything with regards to crypto in general. As for using it for buying though, I think it's a problem because I haven't seen any establishment that's accepting Bitcoin as an alternative payment. I would love to use my Bitcoin to buy something because it's my first time to do it, but as of now, I haven't seen one. Maybe there are some who are accepting thru online payment, but I want to experience using it on physical stores. As for something that I'm planning to buy, hmmm there are many TBH, but if I will think of one, it would be Pokemon Cards.

Cryptocurrency is not banned in my country but due to the issues that our government is having with some exchanges it is discouraging most businesses to accept Bitcoin. Also we can't facilitate crypto transactions through our Banks. People who trade Bitcoin to our local currency are not advised to mention anything crypto related in their transaction description. Many businesses that I know don't accept Bitcoin, they prefer our local currency, although some can discretely collect it. I think that most business people are afraid to be linked to money laundering, that is why they don't accept Bitcoin openly. Most of us that holds Bitcoin are for investment purposes, hopefully that will change in the future if our government adopts a crypto friendly approach.

Not specifically in my country (heck idk even if we're on the same country really) but I did buy some stuff online a few years back. Not through a private pm or something, they just had the option to pay for crypto as one of their payment methods so I went ahead and tried it. Iirc my first purchase was a customized mechanical keyboard (that broke just last year lol), and the other few that I did were just some personally hand-made merch they have (different merchants btw). I reckon reporting it is just the same when reporting your taxes and stuff, just have to convert it to its equivalent value.

I am in this community for long time but still I was doing things without any problem because I have stuff which usually needs online payments, and I was doing all but in last few months our country have drastically changes for cryptocurrency use which is bringing big revolution. Authorities working on exchanges and many other things which will allow better use of bitcoin and crypto openly this is big news for millions because we are already in top ten for using crypto and having huge potential few are still have concerns, but now I am positive and having good feeling maybe these changes take some time but in near future this is going to happen. Being a developing country and having many bureaucratic problems now we can go on right path for adoption of crypto in this region which is always good change.

Here in Croatia, where I am right now, the rules around Bitcoin and other crypto-assets became clearer over the past few years, especially with the application of the EU's MiCA regulation. It's not banned, and there are companies that are authorized to help people buy, sell, and even pay with bitcoin. For example, there are online platforms and even physical exchange offices and Bitcoin ATMs in cities like Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, and Osijek where you can trade bitcoin (and crypto) for cash.
However, I can tell you that, while it's becoming more common, you can't yet go to just any store and pay directly with Bitcoin (there are a few, though). Usually, you'd need to use a service that converts your crypto currency into the local currency (EUR) to make a purchase.
