It's not easy if you want to pay for services directly, but easy to buy gift cards and discount codes. It's also easy to exchange bitcoin to fiat money and pay with that.
Personally, I don't exchange my bitcoin but rather try to hold it for as long as I can. If I do spend though it's with the use of gift cards, for example to buy steam games, or electronics on Amazon. You can buy almost anything you want this way from groceries to furniture.

There are so many different rules in different countries, sometimes even BTC is banned, yet there are still BTC transactions in these countries. How does it work? Is it easy to sell btc in your country, or to buy something with it? What have you bought, for example? Or what are you planning to buy?
As Bitcoin is still banned on my country I can buy something with Bitcoin directly from any anywhere. But I can sell Bitcoin on P2P market very easily like Binance give us this opportunity and also we can use Kucoin to get this facility. So there is no problem to earn or buy sell Bitcoin on my country yet. Because of the illegality there has some advantage like we don't have to pay taxes to the government and we also keep hidden our Bitcoin holding that's why our financial activities is always hidden specially who involved in cryptocurrency for Bitcoin. But if our government accept Bitcoin as a legal currency then we can use or buy and sell or trade with confidence and legal. That will be very to better for Us. We hope government will accept Bitcoin as a legal currency very soon

Here in my country Nigeria the safest way to spend Bitcoin is to convert it to Fiat through p2p that way you won't have anything to worry but in the case of using bitcoin for transaction the government has not approved it and you can't see someone who is going to be bold to accept payments using bitcoin because law enforcement agencies may go against the person if he's caught unless the person knows you to be a bitcoin believer that is when he can accept you to make payments using bitcoin and it has to be done a secret between you two.

So I would like to warn you that if you want keep save your account for now don't make the larger amount p2p trading to at least the City Bank. They also asked me the documents few month ago but luckily my account is still running. One of my friend just inform me this news in my local branch many people were not getting the fund. So be careful try to use the mobile banking.

In my country, my government isn't crypto friendly as we are not allowed to use our Bitcoin to pay bills, buy groceries in the supermarket and for other important needs. However we can only spend our BTC through a trusted merchant or in a Centralized exchanges where we can swap our BTC for fiat currency. Although they is a wide awareness of Bitcoin in my country but the authorities haven't made it easy to spend BTC but I can only hope that In the future, the strict laws placed on the use of Bitcoin or any crypto currency will be lifted.

BTC is legal in my country and i can purchase something freely with BTC, the only thing is there are not many merchants accepting BTC in my local community, so that is a barrier to spend BTC. I believe that is the same case in most countries where BTC is legal, you have to then find a merchant who wants to sell to you in exchange for your coins. I believe it is easier to use BTC online, because there are a lot of online services where we can spend or use our BTC.

I can say it’s really easy when it comes to buying or selling bitcoin, but using btc to spend on something you want to buy on a near shop or grocery store, that’s still not possible here in my own locality as there are no stores that are advertising that they are accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment. However, our country isn’t strict about bitcoin, bitcoin isn’t banned, it’s just that bitcoin isn’t acceptable yet to purchase something like how fiat currency is making high demand.

Often you may only be able to find vendors that accept BTC in niche spots where the guy is most likely a bitcoiner, and to increase the chance of finding these people you are most likely going to be limited to big cities in the capital of each country. I have not found local places where anyone would accept BTC, or even know what BTC is. I think more people know about "crypto" than Bitcoin nowadays because of all the memes, Trump launching his own coin etc. Most people are still clueless about BTC and will probably remain clueless since most people don't even know about the concept of inflation, they may know that prices go up, but they don't understand the monetary policy, thus the interest of BTC is just not there without that knowledge, they would rather deal with usual fiat which is easier to manage.

When it comes to legality, yes bitcoin is legal and can be used to pay online but only on selective stores. But if what you mean to say is that bitcoin could act like a fiat currency that can be used to pay wherever you want to go and decide to buy, that’s very hard for bitcoin. Only very few stores are open about bitcoin, but they don’t sell those basic commodities. The rest might not be hearing bitcoin probably, or if ever they heard it, but they don’t know what it’s real purpose.

I don't understand why many people use trading platforms that cooperate with governments to cash out and buy Bitcoin. Satoshi Nakamoto created a tool for us that can be used anonymously and without the knowledge of states, but many people still interact with the state through centralized cryptocurrency exchanges. As long as there is fiat money and unofficial exchanges in the country, I personally do not see any point in using centralized cryptocurrency exchanges and providing personal data to anyone.
Because it's the option that is put to your face the most and it's all around, being a convenient and the fastest option usually. It seems to me that the option with centralized cryptocurrency exchanges is great for beginners, but not for those who want to preserve their privacy or those who have been working in the cryptocurrency market for a long time. I agree about the speed, but the difference will not be that great. Cash with this option can be received with delivery to the address specified by you on the same day. Here the main thing to pay attention to the reputation of the exchanger as you may encounter fraudsters.

No, we can not use Bitcoin to buy any product here because that is prohibit by our government. We can only use Bitcoin as commodity like stock, gold, and bond in exchanges.
We have fiat money which is legally being used for the transaction. Any other than fiat money, that will not be legal and we can get catch and in prison if the government know.
We are enough to use Bitcoin in exchanges and as our investment so that is what many people here use Bitcoin and not to buy anything.

Different countries around the world have different rules, regulations, and laws regarding the use of Bitcoin. In some countries, the use of Bitcoin is legal, while in others, the use of Bitcoin is strictly prohibited. In some countries, only banks can make transactions but the public cannot. In some countries, Bitcoin can be deposited as a reserve currency but the public cannot use it. Bitcoin is completely illegal and strictly prohibited in my country. We the general public cannot use Bitcoin, it is a government ban.

In my country, Bitcoin is legally classified as property. It cannot be officially used to pay for goods (works, services), since the circulation of surrogate money is prohibited in my country.
At the same time, there are a large number of exchangers where you can buy or sell Bitcoin. Bitcoin is sold for non-cash or cash (issued in cash at exchange offices). Officially, the work of exchangers is neither prohibited nor permitted (they are in the gray zone).
At the same time, measures to regulate this area of entrepreneurial activity may be taken in the future. In particular, a national cryptocurrency exchange was recently created, where only highly qualified investors have the right to trade.
From this, we can conclude that in the future, the state does not want citizens of the country to own Bitcoin, but wants to use the first cryptocurrency for its own needs (in particular, to make cross-border payments).

Yep, no good for the people, all the good to the entities that are above. Clearly, I hope that wouldn't be the case and BTC would be adopted properly mostly for usage, not for the govs only to hoard it.

The government in my country only sees Bitcoin as an asset for trading/investment, if you use Bitcoin outside of that purpose, you have violated the law and are ready for the consequences. I remember that there were some tourists who used Bitcoin to rent a motel in one of the cities in my country, the police found out about it, both the renter and the tourist were fined a lot for it. So it's a bit difficult to use Bitcoin to buy goods. However, if you use Bitcoin or altcoin for trading or investment, then it's very easy, because here there are several local exchanges that can be used to do this and it can be integrated with your bank account, so the withdrawal process can be fast and easy to do. It's just that it will be taxed and you need to pay fees that can range from $ 0.5 - $ 1 USD/transaction, depending on the exchange. That's a bit burdensome, especially if you often withdraw from the exchange.

Spend bitcoin directly no. I have seen a burger shop, a dentist and a taxi that accepted bitcoin (I was talking to the taxi driver about it). But that's over many years. Then there are the online options, which I can buy from my country but which are not there, like if you buy a Trezor paying in bitcoin. In the end people who want to spend their bitcoin and get a card linked to their bitcoin, but that makes the conversion to fiat on each payment, or use gift cards that don't involve spending bitcoin directly.
In other words, the possibility of paying with bitcoin is practically non-existent, and if we take into account the previous forms of conversion to fiat it is somewhat greater but still residual.
