It was just by luck it made the right prediction. It’s just a machine and can’t predict the future. Besides, it’s just relying on sources from the internet to make its predictions, which means you’re probably using someone’s prediction or predictions from multiple people evaluated to give a more suitable prediction. It could still be somewhat a good idea, but I myself don’t buy the idea of it making my predictions. I prefer doing it myself rather than just blindly following it. Your case is different though, some might have no clue of what it has predicted.

No one could indeed predict the future and just like been said that its just luck on which AI did made out the right decision on which we know that there are factors that cant be foreseen on what a human being could be able to notice it out. Its good for data analysis basing up on history but there are indeed things that cant be read up by machine same as you said. It did really just that get lucky on why it do make out some good prediction. If OP is that serious on trying to prove on answering his questions in mind then try to make out some test of betting on AI based and not mixing up some personal analysis on which if he sees out that he would be ended up profitable. Lets say out of 100 bets then you can be able to tell up the accuracy on making up such bets, but for me then it wont be doing up such thing because if we do speak about the real essence of betting or gambling on which is to have fun and thats what make it that important but if you are that trying to target on making up money then you can do all sorts of possible things but of course we do know that in betting or gambling on which luck factor will be always the best shot.

I've been in this field of gambling to know that gambling is by luck and no matter what strategy or helping aid you employ, it still feels back to the fact that gambling is all about luck because no matter the accuracy of your bet, the result is still dependent on the outcome of the players actions on the field. So I envision all these other strategies to be just mere fabrications. Gambling is still about our luck and I'm not surprised that your little experiment failed. I know it would since even AI predictions cannot be sustainable on a long-term.

It’s not just luck if you have a basis when choosing a team to win. If it were purely luck, there would be no need to analyze the game before placing a bet. But no, most of us sports bettors actually check stats and study which team is better. That action alone already proves that we don’t rely only on luck. We believe that if we get good at analyzing games, we can win our bets.

Not to create long story! however I did experiment one of my long waited biases yesterday and it did turn out to be some sort of good guess but later failed.
On the basis of AI, I took a chance at Deepseek promoting it to give me a close guess or tips on what team to win football matches yesterday and somehow it gave a good tips with statistics that gave me a chance to be rational in decision making but because of greed and the payout was quite small so I added my own guess to increase the chance of high return and it turnout that my own guess ruined the bet.
Curious to ask, did anyone ever try this out? it could work and also fall.
Sometimes our instincts aren't right, there are also cases where statistics go wrong because the game isn't determined by the players strength alone, there are other factors like the referees decisions which could be biased and end up affecting the entire game's result. However I understand the pain of loosing a bet because you became greedy and added just a few mire game to boast the multiplier but the truth is, for a fact that you weren't satisfied with the first potential win explains that even if you had to play only those games and won the bet you'll have wished you added more games to increase your win, and accumulation of such mindset is the reason most people tries to double the amount after a win which may end up in loss. However learning to appreciate little win might help us not becoming to greedy.

I would never trust AI with my money, whether gambling, daytrading, transactions or simply holding it. One bug or hallucination and all the money could disappear in a second. Maybe I am being too paranoid but I choose humans over programs everytime when it comes to decisions that have a financial impact. Of course, AI models are not best to rely on when it comes to financial services or cases but perhaps put of curiosity I had to test out what it's like to use AI when it's a highly probable situation, however it came out in favour of AI. ......
Everything you have stated looks reasonable to me. The outcome of sports games is determined by so many unpredictable factors. An injury or suspension on an important player can change the course of the game. AI would be good to analyse games, but you should also make your human inputs. It can serve as a guide but you would also have to reason before you make decision. Exactly same thing I thought which lead me to messing up the whole bet, imperfect humans right even though AI was a bit correct than I was. .....
Well if you actually evaluate the whole thing you will discover that although the AI had made predictions practically on point, chances have it that it could have flopped and went sideways too. AIs make decisions and predictions through speculation and analytical data which actually means that if a team surpasses their normal stats one way or the other there is a high chance the prediction or the AI could fail. Of course the chance of winning is as the chance of lossing. it could be correct today and be wrong tomorrow it could also be wrong today and be right tomorrow it's just a fun bet now because I have to keep testing it out till I get tired of it.

Inasmuch as a gambler’s analytical skills may not guarantee gambling success, it is still very much needed because it increases the gambler’s chances of winning. Yeah it’s often true that one without much analytical experience and knowledge in gambling may still be able to secure some pretty good wins, but you really can’t compare a gambler with some level of skills and one with absolutely no skill at all, because the difference will be completely clear either in the long run or the short term.

Well... I think you're misunderstanding the situation with that AI, at least the version you used, since the prompt is very basic, and its conclusion or parameters only contain the data we know, available to everyone.
Knowing that, the "AI advantage" is its processing power over this data. Then, it can only be on the percentage side of the favorite, or matching a favorite is just other probability.
The truth is, getting close to a result isn't that difficult, since a favorite can lose at most xy% of the time and draw xz% of the time, within the intrinsic probability of 1x2.
That is... (please!) it's circumstantial. Sometimes you'll get it right, and other times the AI will. In fact, you can't call it an experiment when you run it a couple of times. It has to be a very large sample to have any guidance, that's all, since concluding anything is circumstantial.
Man, if you want to do a real experiment, run a Prompt that allows you to correctly program those predictions, since using a text request in the dialog box to an AI is somewhat random.

Same here, but have you ever thought about experimenting with that? I mean, some say AI can make us successful in gambling, so haven’t you been curious if what they’re saying is true or not? Or are you already convinced that AI will never deliver a win for us? Well if it's for curiosity, I think every gambler would be curious to know especially when people are saying that AI is giving them results and like for my own case I think it was just mere luck because after a couple of great results everything went sideways and back to normal as it being very hard to make a win but although I won't lie I actually taught for some moment there if AI actually cracked the code to winning cause it was something worth trying though. ....

Curiosity is a great thing. But it has its limits, especially when you think about it logically. Gambling is pure probability, so unless you can assume (as well as measure) a deterministic universe, and manage the feat of raising your own odds of winning by a negligible amount (which is still a good result from a relativistic point of view), it will still not cancel out the built-in house edge (meaning in the long run you still will lose in terms of probabilities). The end result remains that you leave the thrill and the fun of gambling to a machine, which will lose in the long term anyway.

The problem we face most at times is as a result of greed. Deepseek AI given you an accurate tips was an nice move and great chance to utilize and mitigate the opportunity, but you chose to ruin it by adding yours. Most times winning games often comes with small odd but out of greed we overanalyze and end up losing it all. I have once had such case but not the deepseek, but a game given to me by a friend, the game was a soposed win game but I lost the game because I never trusted it instead I did an amendment and adding some which I lost and thw original game won. The summary of this whole thing is that when given a game by a friend or game gotten from AI analysis, it's good we try it out and place a separate game to have a double ticket and increase our chances of winning than editing and ruining it.

I have try to use the artificial intelligence for gathering data to make analysis for a match. And I could also say yes artificial intelligence is really a great tools as giving you data for analysis. Even it can also give you the predictions but you must also have know the gambling or the betting results always depend on the luck so no matter how you or the artificial intelligence do the analysis it always depends on the luck. So I think there is no specific answer for your question that do if it is really work or not in gambling. Even if I give answer to you "yes" it works for the predicting the result because of I won some matches" you shouldn't believe that you should assume that I was win coincidentally and I was in wrong thought.

Ai would definitely give you feedback of any questions you ask but that doesn't make it accurate. How many times has this worked for you? That's another important thing you should have added, one or two tries isn't enough to know that if it actually works. From what you said, you added your own predictions that's why the bet failed, to continue testing your theory don't add your predictions in the next bet to see if can actually work, for me I can't rely on ai for football predictions.

Wow, what an experiment. I thought that the time would come when AI would be used to predict bets.)) As they say, not even a year has passed.) So what? Technologies should benefit humanity, right? But I have doubts that AI can constantly correctly guess events. It works on the basis of historical data. A person can do this, but it will take much longer. Therefore, in this case, everything is quite relative.

Today will be the Champions League game PSG vs Arsenal. Let's see what AI Deepseek can tell us: I wrote a query with the following content (and I'm very interested to know how well the neural network can give me some kind of clear answer) : predict the result of today's match PSG - Arsenal (Champions League) based on their previous meetings. Here is an answer: Based on previous meetings and the current form of the teams, the following predictions can be made for the match **PSG vs Arsenal** in the semi-finals of the Champions League on April 29, 2025:
### 1. **History of head-to-head meetings** - This season, the teams have already met in the group stage: **Arsenal won 2:0** at home (goals by Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka). - In previous seasons (for example, in 2016/17), the games between them often ended in a draw: 1:1 and 2:2. - In total, in 5 matches: **2 wins for Arsenal, 3 draws, 0 wins for PSG**.
### 2. **Current form of the teams** - **Arsenal**: - In the last 5 matches: 2 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss. - Shows confident play in the Champions League: defeated Real Madrid in the quarterfinals (5:1 on aggregate).
- Problems with the squad: Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Magalhaes, Kai Havertz and others are injured.
- **PSG**: - In the last 5 matches: 2 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses. - In the Champions League playoffs, they got past Liverpool and Aston Villa, but with difficulty. - Fully staffed, no injuries or disqualifications.
### 3. **Stats and trends** - Arsenal scored **at least 2 goals** in their last 4 home matches against PSG. - Both teams scored in 2 of 3 head-to-head meetings in the Champions League. - Arsenal have defensive problems, PSG are inconsistent in away matches against English clubs (4 wins, 4 draws, 10 losses).
### **Match Prediction** - **Most Likely Outcome**: **Arsenal win or draw** (60% of fans vote for the home team to win). - **Possible Score**: **2:1 or 1:1**. - **Key Factors**: - The Emirates Stadium and Arsenal's motivation after a long break in the Champions League semi-finals. - PSG are weaker away from home against English clubs. **Conclusion**: Arsenal have a slight advantage, but PSG can play on the counterattack. A tense game with goals from both teams is likely.Well, it is clear that the AI is trying to analyze well, while trying to take into account all the factors of previous games. But it cannot give any specific answer. I would not trust the AI to decide my bets on matches. But overall I expected the neural network's response to be much worse.

It was just by luck it made the right prediction. It’s just a machine and can’t predict the future. We shouldn't totally rely on AI predictions, they can be near accurate but cannot be totally perfect to tell you what the outcome of matches will be, you still need to do your own analysis. In sports bet we are dealing with living things that can have a bad day despite their previous good forms and AI can only predict based on their previous performances. We cannot remove luck from gambling and AI statistics cannot be perfect all the time so no method of analysis is 100% certain. Gambling results are futuristic and no brains or machines can predict accurately so always use amounts that you can loose to gamble.

No, I am not try that but trying to analyze with my own. I know that will not give much to win but at least, I am trying to use what I can. If that make me loss, that mean I need to learn more about analysis.
Placing a bet is not just about win or loss but that is how we can analyze and improve our skill and choose the team. If we loss in one match, that will not be a problem because we have next matches to bet.
You can use AI to have more information but you don't have to depend on that. If you can improve your skill better, you will see the chance to win may also increase but you still need luck.

Everything is unsure that's why people should not really rely on their bets base on what AI prediction result showed up to them. Everything is been maneuvered by humans and there are certain changes due to some conditions that's why even if they say this team is winnings base on papers or data's there's still a chance that underdog will defeat them. That's why I'm always looking at team availability and other reports since somehow this is more reliable to determine if they have good chance to win.

That said I have seen MIT based projects attempting to use AI to predict the outcome of sporting events.
So, do they have a conclusion regarding this? I'm interested to know because if it’s a success, it would be easier for us to win using AI. Although, I’m not yet convinced that there’s a method that could really make sports betting profitable with AI. I would love to be wrong, though. Keyword search: MIT AI sport gambling. You can decide for yourself if its a success.

This is the question I wanted to ask the author: how many times did they use it? Once, twice, or even three times is not enough. You have to try it repeatedly, for ten to fifteen times, to know if it accuracy. You have to stick to whatever analysis it gave you, without including your own, to ensure you didn't tamper with the results. The AI gave you results; you can't be certain so you have to redo it again and again and bring out a detailed analysis with results for us to have a better understanding of your experiment. I do believe that AI can assist a lot because, as long as information about the teams and their games is on the internet, the AI can actually search it out and draw an analysis conclusion. So, yes they can assist, but it has to be tested over time to be certain.

I don't trust AI, and I just can't imagine that humanity will one day trust all the management of robots. Yes, maybe AI can predict and analyze future games with a high degree of success, but there will always be a human factor. In that case, is it worth it to get involved with a robot and trust them with your money? After all, in case of failure, you blame yourself, and you have room to grow. What can you expect from a robot? I am definitely too old-fashioned to trust a bet to an inanimate instrument.
