SCAM: Funds held for 6 months — no response, no refund

I made an exchange from TRX to ZEC via Changee (powered by Changelly). All AML/KYC requirements were fulfilled: identity verification, income statements, official contracts with stamps — everything was submitted properly.

After that — complete silence for 6 months. No timeframes, no explanations, and no response from support. They claim the funds are “under review”, yet blockchain activity shows that my funds were already moved to other wallets. So they’re not frozen — they’re clearly being used.

There are many similar complaints online. I’m not the only one affected. More and more evidence shows this is a scam and dealing with this service is dangerous.

Absolutely not recommended. If you’ve had the same experience — speak out. Only together can we stop this.

Changelly have a very poor reputation - you should have ran some better due diligence before considering using anything powered by them (though don't completely blame you as while Changelly is a clear selective scammer. it isn't entirely obvious that changee would also be a scam/is tied to the changelly scam in their thread (I've gone there to highlight this despite the thread being old)

How there has been some hope after this user used changelly through swapzone and managed to get the swap honored:

It is for this reason that it is necessary to conduct research not after you lose your money, but before making a deposit to an unknown platform. It was enough to use Google to read negative reviews about Changelly and you probably would have abandoned your plans to use such a service.

I am actually from the other thread. It's good you noticed the warning and didn't get scammed. I am still surprised the OP of that thread hasn't been tagged or flagged, or perhaps I am missing something?

The exchange seems to have been delisted from Bestchange as of 7th Feb 2025. OP did you make any complaint on the monitor before it was delisted?

As far as the OP has stated, I believe that they (unfortunately) have already been scammed and that their funds have been held for in excess of 6 months now.

I also have the same situation with changelly, used them unknowingly via exodus, provided all documents they asked and not hearing back from them  once all documents sent. Money being moved from wallet to wallet - total scam - Over $100k gone. Dont use Exodus - or changelly - they are partner scams together
