This type of activity could lead to managers not allowing edited posts to count which IMO I think would be great.
I don't agree with this. Posts can be edited for good reasons. Sometimes, I edit my posts to correct typos or grammatical errors. Sometimes, I edit my posts to add some information that were not available when I created the post. What Saint-loup is doing is completely different. He posts a few words just to have a reserved post and edits it to make the post longer after days. That's probably done to spread the posts throughout the week and not be accused of burst-posting. I edit now and then myself and not counting edited posts would be an extremely radical act, but maybe a radical act is needed. Trial and error. This type of activity could lead to managers not allowing edited posts to count which IMO I think would be great. Is he cheating? Technically no, but other managers may not feel the same way. Depends on the rules for the most part.
You have one bold rule in your campaign and I have the same rule at the very first of my campaigns. We don't tolerate post bursting. It usually brings no good output. Besides, I consider post bursting as less effective in terms of impression count. That's something else. Well, Saint loup is post bursting here but beating the manager. This is something a manager can barely notice, the chance of noticing this is very close to zero. Isn't it cheating? Post bursting isn't allowed but they are doing exactly that. I checked last 7/8 post and they were edited within a little more than half an hour. Would you count that valid post? I didn't check more, it's possible that he has edited many more posts in the same day and in the same hour. I'll put a neutral tag so I don't have to accept him in any of my campaigns. You know as good as I do that if rules aren't made 10000000% clear users will exploit them in campaigns which is why I say technically he isn't cheating. There is no rule that you can't mass edit or whatever this user is trying to pull off. Am I all for this user not being allowed to be in campaigns? Of course, Just playing a little devils advocate. This type of activity could lead to managers not allowing edited posts to count which IMO I think would be great. Is he cheating? Technically no, but other managers may not feel the same way. Depends on the rules for the most part.
I think this is too overkill. I edit a lot of my posts due to typos and because sometimes I think about something else and add it to the post (an extra phrase or two). Probably a better idea to check the original post instead (i.e using ninjastic.space) and not allow posts that were clearly made to bypass the weekly cut time (and if they are < 200 characters, low quality etc). We all edit here and there, just offering a suggestion. This type of activity could lead to managers not allowing edited posts to count which IMO I think would be great.
To not paid edited posts would only be done by lazy managers IMO. Every week I edit my posts, usually to correct mistakes or clarify something, once I read them after they are published (and I check them before publishing), which is far from what Saint-loup does. So a responsible manager if he doesn't want to pay for edited posts should check if they are shitpost-like IMO, like the case mentioned above, or responsible post improvements. I will not go deeper into this as I see that the rest of the opinions expressed are similar to mine. Assuming someone decided to not pay for edited posts, I am sure that certain users would be exempt from the rule and it would be on a case by case basis. As stated everyone makes an edit or 2 now n then. It's a forum though, not a class assignment that has to have perfect grammar so I can't really see why someone would be editing 100 posts a week. I'm guessing the cheater is likely a part of an alt farm who is doing this activity from multiple accounts. Then going back and editing, likely doing a few accounts a day. Someone should be looking for more users doing this and connect the dots. Best punishment would have been to suspend a week's pay , just to let him and all other campaign members know what the consequences are for this..and probably some comments on the spreadsheet to alert everyone that you have an eagles eye on them.
Secondly, it would be interesting to see the pattern of the quota's... If it's always say 30 posts as required by sig, doesn't show natural contribution towards the forum as I know some managers don't like members that hover just around the maximum allowed post numbers.
Now with this, hope his not tainted for this.
This is unethical behavior and just not paying the user for 1 week wouldn't be a suitable punishment IMO. Would you lat plagiarism go with a 1 week suspension and a smack on the wrist? Just another unethical behavior. I am not for this type of activity and I don't want any users to think that I would be. I am simply giving a suggestion which wouldn't be popular and playing a little devils advocate. There is more than 1 account involved here, of that I am sure.

The punishment would be determined by the campaign managers. Two people Cro2 (Trofo and cryptofrka) are managing the campaign. Both of them have posted but you did not read their post. Cryptofrka posted that he will be removed from the campaign. I am surprised that Saint-loup has not come to post anything about it which makes the judgement accurate.

Don't take my word for it, maybe a working person that makes those posts during work hour's and only gets back to them when they have time to themselves (in an effort to avoid post bursting ) That can be a factor but if you had time to make a short post, why not finish the whole thing? And according to what the Op brought up, it showed that he did this over a period of different intervals so what you're trying to say is, at the time he made those few worded posts, he was on the job? I know you're just giving your own impressions of what might be the reason why Saint-loup did what he did but you know, if you've got a day job that may affect your forum time, you could make a plan that would suit both the job and the forum posts, so that you don't get issues like this.

Well all things considered, it's not a one time thing that this happened...not sure how he gets to redeem himself
At this point this here could be one of those cases bigger than SMAS 😅

I'm sorry and surprised to hear that, because it's the first time someone is blaming me for that, and I don't understand why Hosemary didn't even try to ask me why I was doing that if he thought it was not a good behaviour, before opening a thread accusing a 8 years old member of wrongdoing or of some kind of cheating. I don't think that's a very kind or collegial attitude on his part, to be honest. Actually, I often read the forum from my smartphone, and unfortunately it's not easy for me to write long detailed posts on my phone. So when I want to react to a post or a topic interesting me and I'm on my phone or if I have no time to write all I want to say, I briefly reply to it and I complete my post later when I have more time or when I'm on my computer. I don't change what I said of course, I only complete my post, and I don't do it if someone has already replied to my post. I'm not a native english speaker and I care of the quality of my posts, for the campaigns I do but also for myself, so I like to reread my posts and to improve their quality, I didn't know it was a bad practice, for me, it's a good one, on the contrary. And if I was doing that in a dishonest way I think I would be able to complete the 25 posts full quota of my current campaign quite easily each week. Instead, on the 3 last weeks I only reached it one single time.

You do not need to post if you do not have the time to post, you can just wait until you have time to post. Not that you are replying to posts fast to say that is a good reason but this would have been noticed and you would have been punished for it. This is not a good reason at all. Also that you were editing the post like 4 days after your have posted before. Just apologize and change. That campaign is paying good amount of money which makes them not deserve what you were doing. What you posted first is what most people would have read as the thread go longer and which is absolutely not good.

I checked 3 of your recent posts: Great news Yes bank don't deserve to survive crypto revolution coming It's very concerning indeed and underestimated IMO. If a war starts between the 2 countries many markets will fall and inflation will go high If you don't have time to write everything you wanted to say when you created those posts, how come you do have time to go to several other topics and write more short posts there? I don't like typing on mobile, and when I see something I want to get back to on my desktop, I leave a notification for myself (which I instantly delete). And if I was doing that in a dishonest way I think I would be able to complete the 25 posts full quota of my current campaign quite easily each week. Your first time post means a lot to people because it can be a contribution and also educate others but when you reserved it and edit it when the pay hour is very close is not a matter of using smart phone. It means you are not here to educate people and contribute to knowledge because many have already passed that page and they will not come back to read your edited reserved. Your excuse doesn't make sense. 25 post a week and you can post 5 posts a day. If you were busy in the offline jobs then you would have inform the campaign manager and left the campaign quietly. The campaign manager supposed angry with you because it is what you post advertising the Avatar and Signature of the casino and if it is quality post people quote and make references on it. And all that making the casino ads more visible. But when reserving it with a phrase and edit it at the deadline is very bad frankly speaking.

Don't shoot the messenger. I don't shoot anyone, but it's the very first time someone even makes a comment about that while I'm here since 8 years. So I'm surprised he opened a thread for that whithout even bother to talk to me before. I didn't know it was prohibited by any rule including campaign's rules, and if I know my campaign managers didn't accept that, of course I wouldn't do it. How I could hide it? But to be honest, I think many people post like that and it's a rather common practice when you are in a campaign requiring high quality posts. I don't like typing on mobile, and when I see something I want to get back to on my desktop, I leave a notification for myself (which I instantly delete). Ok but I didn't know it was prohibited to do it in the way I was doing. Again I just completed my posts, and never change their meaning.

That's honestly the worst reply you could have given. The best response would have been to acknowledge that you were wrong, apologize and move on, but coming here with that indignant tone as if you had done nothing wrong is going to work against you. I don't know if you haven't realized that nobody shares your vision, especially your campaign managers.

If that's a problem, what you could instead do is to save the topics or posts that you are ineterested in replying to and then simply do it when you have more time or when you are at the computer. At least That's what I sometimes do as I also like to browse the forum on my mobile phone while in bed or on the couch etc. Anyway, not the smart move at all...

The only place this kind of behavior is accepted is in the farm, manual laborers sent to dig soil tend to hit their hoes on different locations then build the hips later for higher pays instead of working fully on one hip after another. What you did is spamming to gain a certain amount of posts per day then move further to develop the posts to meet the campaign standard. If you weren't selling your signature it wouldn't have been a much issue to look into for an 8 year old account.

Woodie there is no word romance or drama that can justify this action, this is a total cheating on the signature and the quality we tend to maintain in this forum, don't pant this situation as less than plagiarism offenses, if you have a working schedule and engage in some other things, there is no way you can make a quality contribution to a discussion here in the forum so the best thing to do at that point in time is engage in those other things and try not to become double attending that makes you act in such a way.
You can actually do your day job and still work on the forum. It all depends on how you plan your time like I said earlier. I don't have issues with post edits because I do edit mine too but where I can't seem to wrap my head was the line where the op said he'd edit those post almost or close to when it's the cut off time. If you know that at a particular time, your post count is supposed to be counted, why not round it off way before hand? I have read the explanation given by Saint-loup and it still doesn't sit well with me. He may have his reasons for doing what he did he feels that it's okay but I just have a question for him though; If he has been here for 8 years, has that being his style of posting or it's just a recent occurrence?

i'm sorry, but this makes no sense to me. if it's hard to reply on mobile and you have no time to write all you want to say then don't reply, you could have simply bookmarked the post and replied later when you are back on your computer. for someone who been here for so long how did you think this was okay?

If he has been here for 8 years, has that being his style of posting or it's just a recent occurrence?
It makes no difference. Valid investigation will be does he do the same when he is not required to fulfill the minimum character requirements for his signature payment in other words does he do the same or did he do the same when he was not in a campaign. I assume we do not have resources to do the kind of investigation.

I think many people post like that and it's a rather common practice when you are in a campaign requiring high quality posts. I've been in a campaign with high quality posters for years, and never saw anyone do this. I've only seen it from the likes of bounty spammers, which is why it made you stand out so much more. If he has been here for 8 years, has that being his style of posting or it's just a recent occurrence? I checked the first 5 English posts on pages 10, 20 and 30 in his post history. It looks like he's been doing this for a while, although those didn't take 4 days to get edited: It's so called sparse, because it's a pool betting system, and there isn't much bettors betting decent amounts he should think Elon Musk IMO Even with 1.01 odds you are very likely to lose your balance along with the bonus tr many Thankfully those operations or plans have ended and now cryptos won't be cracked down anymore by US authorities during several years at least It's certainly because the betting part is becoming one of the most used part of the platform maybe. I'm talking about the paying games of course How do you know that? That's just shitposting.

While it isn't cheating per se, we definitely feel cheated. When we are checking your posts they are different than what they were most of the week. We don't even have minimum post requirements in our campaign. 5 good posts per week would be fine by us but that means just 20$ payment instead of 100$. Which is why I am inclined to think this was intentional. Personally I never go back and read old pages of the topic. I follow the conversation and posts edited few days later would be missed almost every time. Edited post doesn't even trigger notification bot. I presume most people use forum like that which means that vast majority sees your one liners with our signature below it. That is not something we want in our campaign for our client. Simple as that. If it was intentional or not is moot point in this case.
Regarding banning post editing in the campaign rules. That seems just silly. Every organic poster edits their posts sooner or later. Mistakes happen and new information becomes available. I am often writing on mobile and typos sometimes happen. If I see them later on on PC I always edit those posts or even rewrite some sentences if I feel I could have said it better.

Wow! You know I can forgive the fact that English isn't your first language but it's improper to use that fact as reason for your wrongdoing. I don't know how punishments for things like this are being given but i guess this matter would be handled appropriately. I would not even sounded as defensive as he did with all this stacked against him if I were in his shoes.
