I believe another point that should be included is that: Do not act aggressively based on the price action for the day; do it as a strategy that is planned in advance.  When your strategy is only "aggressive" after a major pump or a sharp dip, then there's a very high chance that you're making decisions based on emotion.

Therefore setting some clear rules first, then going into the market, will help you to be objective, and prevent decision making that can lead to regret.  I think having a strategy that is planned in advance is more sustainable than following whatever the market is doing on any given day.

I agree with you, many newbie’s rush into bitcoin because of fear of missing out. That’s why they end using  money meant for house rent, school fees, or hospital bills to buy bitcoin, hoping that bitcoin price will eventually rise. Once emergency shows up or market dip, fear will make them panic and sell at a loss. The best way is to first settle your important responsibilities before you buy bitcoin. If after you have paid for all your bills, and you still have extra money. that’s your discretionary income and you can use it to invest in bitcoin.  

 Another thing I want to say is that don’t lower your standard of living just because you want to accumulate Bitcoin quickly. If you’re always formed of ignoring your heart, or borrow money because you want to buy bitcoin,  at that moment you have turn investment into unnecessary suffering.
