Error when submitting the post

I experienced this issue too frequent since last week until I found an issue of double posting on this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5541608.0 that reminds me that someone might experiencing this inconvenience.

I always need to refresh my browser after the error appears when I submit my post. I do preview my post before I submit so I have copy that I just need to resubmit.



I’m asking if this error is available on your end too or this is just on my device. I tried different browser but give same result. This error is just randomly occurring but too frequent now.

the thread you used as a reference is saying the same thing with yours, why not just make your own contribution or reply to that thread in steady of creating another thread to duplicate the meta board with the same line of topic to address same issue.

If you read carefully, the thread that I use as reference has a double posting error. The user accidentally post a duplicate due to error on the internet.

This case that I raise is a straight error when I submit the post leading to failed to submit the post. It’s not a duplicate issue rather a failed post like what happened when you have poor connection but the difference is I have strong internet connection.

this issue of yours can still be address in that thread, because poor internet connection, is what can lead to duplicating of posts just like the one on the thread you used as a reference, even submitting error, and even the one you mentioned above and concerning the submitting error that occurs when ever you submit a post that  error also occur to me most time, I don't know if the fault is coming from the browser or poor internet connection I we see write up like  section expired logout and login again and when and when I logout and login again everything will go back to normal and i we even see my post submitted as well.

Everything is normal here
I use forum on 3 different devices:
PC > Chrome
Laptop > Chrome
IOS > Chrome and Safari

On all devices I have not encountered any errors lately

Can you try another internet connection?
When I encounter an error and want to find out if it's my internet provider that's having problems, I use my mobile internet (it can be routed) to test

You can use VPN. Change it to another location like United States or United Kingdom. Probably this might help. There were times in the past that I was unable to access the forum lightly but I change to VPN and it works.

It has been long that the not-easy-to-load issue has happen on my devices.

The reasons is either hosting/server error (server slow response), user slow internet connection, or user not noticing for duplicate posting, that's it.

Since the forum uses a form-based submission system, it will trigger a warning or alert if the same data is submitted again, helping to prevent duplicate posts.

If ISP is blocking a site then it is not possible to load any pages right? I guess the problem is due to the slow network connection. It happens to me sometimes as well and I thought the problem is with the site and after a while not able to access any site and the solution is just restart the router that will resolve this most of the time and if it is mobile data then just turn on and off the flight mode.

Can you tell us your internet speed and what is your connection type wired or wifi?
I never had any issues like this, except when my internet connection was disabled for some reason.
If you tried different browsers and you still have the same error than it must be something wrong with your network or with your operating system.
Try using different device (laptop, smartphone) on the same network

Anytime I notice something like this, I just change my network, and I will be good, as it's only with a poor network connection that I encounter such an error.

The only issue which I encountered very well sometimes last week is the error "you are being rate limited". Even when I try using a different browser, I still get that error message. I will have to leave the forum for some time.

I don't think if it's due to internet speed. We have 500mbps and sometimes it happens to me if my post includes some links related to miner.
I don't know how I solved my issue but my guess like other said it might be due to your ISP because after I change my DNS to Cloudflare the issue never come up again.

Too much resources if you are going to use VPN changing DNS should solved this problem.

I can recall that I used to experience this type of error, especially when my network signal is not strong. But it is not as often as you have described above.
Have you tried to clear the cache of your browser and try again.

@Charles-Tim, you suggested the use of VPN, does the forum have an issue of geographical location. Every location uses the forum freely, unless your country blocked the access to the forum as I read sometime ago about Russia.

I do not know if it is or not, but once a website is not loading on my device, I on VPN or change the VPN IP location. This is not just about Bitcointalk alone, but I have tried it on many sites and sometimes they work.

On Bitcointalk, if it is not loading, I will use search engine to search for something and also visit another site, if they are working but this forum is not working and not loading fast unlike the other sites and search engine, I switch to VPN immediately and it always work.

May in my opinion I think the website serves could be the problem which may be experiencing technical issues which is causing the double posting, I think you should consider this two first,   
 - Maybe your browser cache might be contributing to the problem.
 - Network connectivity might been the problem here your internet connection could be causing the submission to fail.
But can aslo try to clearing the browser cache and cookies might resolve the situation.

I've had this happen a few times in the last month, but not this month. It usually happens quite often when I'm trying to post, but after reloading, the problem was solved. I don't know if logout can also be a solution to this problem, but I will try it if the same thing happens again this month. I can confirm that this happened to me at least 2 or 3 times in the last month.

I always use incognito mode on my browser for safe browsing. I think the logout option is not the solution for me because I always login fresh when I access my account.

Also the persistent failed captcha even though I’m 100% correct combines to this problem. I think this issue is due to the privacy related browser.

I don’t encounter this problem on normal browser without incognito.

You are not safe with Incognito mode, if you want privacy, you must use Tor browser according to [1] and there were data leaks [2]

It has happened to me severally so what i do is to refresh my browser and am good to go but when it keeps reoccurring, it means you have a bad network at your region so if you use a Router/Mifi, all you need to is to switch it OFF and ON it again then if you are using mobile carrier network, you OFF your data connection and ON it back again i think this should should the problem but if it persist, it means the network signal at that region is extremely bad.

This usually happens to me each time am browsing the forum with my phone and a call comes in, the call interrupts my network and if I was trying to submit a post or open a thread, it will come up with this error. If am also browsing the forum on PC, with my phone serving as hotspot, if call enters my phone, this error will come up because the call interrupts the network. Sometimes, if network is absolutely down (bad) this error arises too.
