If you have a budget you should not gamble more. If you break your budget you could become addicted. Greed can lead people to gambling addiction because gamblers try to win back the money they lost. They must stop if they gamble more than their budget.
the best thing to do in gambling is to have a budget and if you don't have a budget and the gamble every time that will make you to be addicted in gambling so it is better for you to have both weekly budget and monthly budget so that you cannot exceed your budget in gambling so that wherever you lose it will not affect you because it is a proposed budget for gambling, but out of greediness that made some people know to have a budget and that is one of the factors that is making many people to lose in gambling today, someone who is Learned and who has a job will you have a budget for anything that is doing especially anything that has to do with the risk it must have a budget on it, so if you don't have budget it is something that will make you to be addicted because when you lose you'll be looking for a possible means to profit or to recover what you have lost. Whether people have a budget or not, they often find a way to gamble. Addiction usually doesn't start when you're spending a lot, but rather from the first time you try it. That initial excitement can draw people in, and over time, they may end up spending more and more just to chase that feeling. Anyway it depends on the person to find their own way in gambling.

Yes, you are right because gambling is only for fun, gambling is never for making money. Those who think that gambling is a way to make money and spend a lot of money on gambling quickly become addicted to gambling and completely ruin their lives. It is better to spend as little money on gambling as possible, and never spend a lot of money on gambling. I have seen many people around me who have spent a lot of money on gambling, due to which they have quickly become ruined. At one time they were in a very good position, but later they are living in great difficulty.
I agree with your words. But when someone cannot control their mind and greed for money arises, then basically gambling can have a bad effect on a person's life. People travel for entertainment, play sports, many create content on social media and get entertainment through it and spend money. Sometimes some income is also made from here. But there is no possibility of much economic loss in this type of entertainment work. But when someone gambles, if greed arises in a person, then it is no longer in entertainment. So many people suffer a lot of loss through gambling.

If a gambler gambles for profit from the beginning of the game, then he is more likely to become addicted from the initial stage. Most of the time, it cannot be implemented in gambling by setting a budget and the limit is exceeded. This is also a reason for addiction. If a gambler follows his bankroll, then as he loses gradually, his desire to win increases and he tries hard to win. From that effort, he starts getting addicted. Yes, the initial excitement is more influential for addiction, but if a gambler can cross that stage, then he can reduce the tendency to become addicted to the game to a great extent.

Gambling is actually meant to increase what you have staked with, like you aim to increase the worth of money you have. If gambling is about to increase your money, do we gamble gradually or we have to take the risk by increasing our stake since it is the purpose that we are gambling, which is to make profit.
If you gamble gradually, it won't guarantee your winning and if you increase your stake it won't either. If you increase your risk and win, you will know that you have really gambled and if you also lose as you increase your risk, you also know that you have gambled.
So is gambling really for a gradual process or is gradual way of gambling is for the weak minds in gambling. I have not seen a gradual gambler who doesn't take risk that has made really big win.
So what is the point? What do you say?
Gambling is not to make profit so don't get it twisted. You are to gamble for fun in order for you not to see gambling as a means of making a fortune and get carried away. You should gamble to the lowest minimal with very little amount of money that you can afford to lose so that you can control yourself from getting addicted. Putting profits first is a misplaced priority. No matter how many times we say what you just mentioned, there will still be gamblers who won’t look at gambling the way you describe it. Because there will always be some who see casino gambling as a source of income, and we can’t really control them when it comes to that. Maybe for us, we can treat it purely as fun with limits and with self-control or discipline. But for others, it’s no longer the case since their mindset is already closed to that kind of perspective and of course, we can do nothing about what they want.

Well, this means being cautious and calculating is a must when you're at a hot table. However, we often see people who don't just want to play and have fun, but take more calculated steps to win when they're actually losing with all the consequences. Probability-wise, those who are able to do this are professional gamblers, and if we observe them, they are quite skilled at strategizing their betting patterns. I think this aligns with your last statement, which is that it depends on the player. Of course, they don't come in unskilled and haphazard, meaning they're not just guessing or following their gut. They do their own research, such as understanding the rules and game mechanics, using probability analysis, being able to read their opponents' psychology, and being able to manage their budgets and know when to cut their losses. So, they're not just there to entertain themselves; they're trying to win.

I have a friend that always say that gambling is a sin and he can never gamble and there is also one that told me that gambling is a waste of money. He told me to start keeping the money I used in gambling for about a month to see how much I always used in gambling and I realized that sometimes you waste money and sometimes we also make profit but my own profit is greater or more than my loss but gambling can be frustrating sometimes especially when you are making loss.

Well but that's easier said than done though.
Most people who are in a gambling addiction might want to stop, but it's just very hard to do so.
In the end, the dopamine in the brain is more powerful than most people's desire to not gamble.
That's exactly what I'm saying. It's impossible to tell yourself to stop when you're severely addicted to gambling. Years ago, I told myself every day that I was gambling for the last time. If I'd looked at myself from the outside, it would have seemed funny. In reality, it's simply terrifying to imagine someone who, day after day, doesn't even account for their spending and loses every penny. It's horrific. It affects not only the player themselves, but also the family that relies on them.

If your friend ever gets a chance, he will gamble and he is more likely to become addicted. I had a friend who hated gambling but he started gambling through another friend and he became addicted. People who think gambling is a sin think so because they don't get the chance to gamble. Maybe they have lost a lot of money gambling in the past or luck is not in their favor while gambling. Gambling can happen at any time. When your losses are high, you should stop playing. Losing money continuously will never keep you interested in gambling. These gamblers have a high loss rate and they quit gambling in a very short time. But sometimes if they win, they can't quit gambling easily.

Interesting point! For me, gambling is really more about balance. Gradual betting might feel “slow,” but it helps you manage your money and play longer. On the other hand, big risky bets can give huge wins but also huge losses. I think it depends on the person’s mindset, some are okay with slow gains, some want instant big shots. At the end of the day, both are still risks, and there’s no guarantee in gambling. The key is knowing your limit and not chasing losses.

But the thing with gambling is that it is quite random So, if you just average out everything, that's a sure way to lose it all in the long term But if you go all in once, you might win that one time

So what is the point? What do you say?
I've never seen anything more exciting in gambling than poker, so for me, gambling isn't about slot machines with flashy graphics and loud sounds, but poker itself. It's a quiet game where silence helps you understand the situation. I like the fact that I'm competing against other people, not algorithms. I regret that this game has become so algorithmic now, with online poker players using programs to help them. I'd like it to be more private.

I’ve often seen the same regrets from people who miss live poker games. This way, clubs based on shared interests are already being formed. On the one hand, technological progress becomes an indispensable assistant and makes our lives easier; on the other hand, it completely strips our actions of their humanity. I’m sure there are communities, both online and offline, where people gather for the sake of a good game.

Look, if you can't manage your money properly, you will face losses, in the case of gambling, things are messy. If you want to gamble for a long time, then you must take rest sometimes, if you don't rest, you will get tired and after that you will face addiction. And you will have enough time to lose money, because you have failed to control yourself. There is no problem in gambling, you play for fun, but whenever you try to recover the lost money, you will be ready to lose more money immediately. However, in gambling, you have to gamble patiently and with control, then you can be able to gamble for a long time.

The straight answer to this question is by gambling responsibly cause when you gamble in a responsible way you won't do anything that would attract addiction like reckless spending, chasing losses, being too greedy and so forth, gambling is very risky and every gambler is automatically a risk takers but the wise one's do it an a responsible manner and avoid spending on it beyond their budget, experts have even made it easier for gamblers by advising that they should see it more as a form of entertainment so they won't go spending beyond their budget while trying to entertain themselves.

Most of the time, our brain is just thinking about gambling if we are under the influence of gambling addiction, and that means we cannot do any house chores or be on our job at the right time. Then, there's time for the family. Gambling addicts tend to get angry easily because of their losses, so I highly doubt they will have the patience to spend their time with their families. If we want the best way to gamble, it's best if we can control our gambling habits first.

It is better to be able to control things when they are small because the excitement is usually too much. This is why they always want to gamble and keep gambling because they so strongly trust their instincts that they will win, and that instinct is what makes things worse for them, because how in the world are they so sure about winning when a game can change in minutes? This is how addiction ends, regardless of how it is handled responsibly. people also need to understand that they need to be regulated to be able to gamble and handle whatever they win or lose, and they know how to manage situations.

That is the balance that every gambler must have. The slow feeling when we bet isn't felt by many gamblers. And that's why they chose to gamble quickly and makes them best as fast as they can. It's also giving them the closeness to losing more because they're not balancing their emotions and as well as what's inside their pockets.

Many people have been gambling for years without having any issues because they have that self control and confidence without thinking of gambling as a quick way to make quick money from betting. When we keep thinking that gambling will make us rich is when we starts getting it all wrong. You can make money from betting but not to get rich. The best way to gamble is with the mindset of not gambling to become multi millionaire. Once that idea starts entering your score, that is when you will starts over doing it and gambling too frequently to become rich. This does not work for every gambler and we need to be smart when making decisions.

But beyond the balance a gambler must have, from my perspective, the most important thing is self-confidence. Let's take myself as an example: I honestly only play when I'm confident that I can win big & just because I'm confident that I can win big doesn't mean I don't have the capital I've prepared to gamble. So, if my confidence turns out to be wrong & I lose, the money I've wagered isn't my main capital, but rather the money I've set aside for gambling, so I don't feel frustrated by the loss. That's the best way to gamble, based on what I've demonstrated for myself. For me, the goal of gambling is to have fun, not to earn a living.
