I am just curious why are you looking for him? You just registered today and looking for Sirius, quite interesting.

I don't support giving out all this information when we don't know who OP is, from a brand new account demanding a trace to someone way ahead in Bitcoin. At least, we should be able to know a bit why he demands to know Sirius activeness in the forum.

What crime did Sirius ever commit as far as we know?
And that is public information, if @takuma sato can access it, tell me why the Government that has all the resources at their disposal wouldn't?

We don't know anything going on because OP never mentioned any reason. It could be for a good reason but at most we have no clue on anything, there must be reason for a brand new user asking about Sirius.

I just found out that google knows about Sirius, it wasn't on my knowledge.

If you knew exactly username like this, Sirius, you can search for that user very easily by either using Google or Forum search.

Before the launch of this feature Small improvement regarding activity / "Show others your online status", if Sirius left the forum before the feature launch, his account's profile page shows his last active time.

You only need to ask this question if Sirius was active very recently and customized his account settings so that this Last Active information consequently shows as Recently but it's not the case.

What are we to make of this? A newbie account created yesterday that made one post to create this thread in order to ask one question. The answer quite clearly could have been found without the need for the thread. Why would someone create an account just for that?

maybe they had a business deal and Sirius didn't show up as agreed, and I think the OP was unable to reach Sirius in anyway, and  someone who know Sirius to be a member of this forum might have directed the OP to the forum to ask if Sirius is still active in forum since he or she can't reach him anymore, I think that's why he or she  created this account for.

He has an extremely upstanding reputation in the Bitcoin community and was the first user registered on this forum after satoshi. Furthermore, he hasn't posted here in over 10 years. Please don't speculate about things if you don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about.

The information provided in this thread isn't private, and the person who posted it isn't a secret companion of Sirius who has deceived him and revealed his private information to someone who is looking for him while having no identity. It's public information, and anyone with a little bit of research can find them, so I don't think it's a problem.

I didn't dox Sirius or anything like that. Sirius has been a public persona for years. It's been widely known he is Marti Malmi. He made his emails with satoshi public during the trial and everyone knew his real name before that, so obviously I would never dox someone, im just posting what is already out there. This way OP could be able to contact him if he wants to.

Sirius seems to be a well known personality on this forum and was the second person after Satoshi himself  as you have said. I was also curious why OP would be coming here to ask such question when google can help him get the answers he wants to know about Sirius. Well, Sirius has played a big role on this platform to have gotten to this level as well although he is not that active in posting but its over a year now he visited the platform. I  hope he remembers he has a home here and we are eagerly waiting to see him being active again.

I was wondering too why OP would do that, knowing they could easily key in that name on search engine here and get their answer straight up. I think what we've here is a simple case of "attention seeking".

It would be obvious that isn't a genuine newbie account. The user is only seeking attention to their new moniker.

I think we should just ignore OP, for what they seek attention. Otherwise, the question they asked is right there under their nose.
