Which card would you suggest to mine on for under 200W power consumption?

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti. It reportedly only uses 34W when overclocked and mining scrypt coins at 300 KHS.

Not the best power/hash ratio, but my Sapphire R9 270x cards draw about 175w and get a consistent 470Kh/s for $209.

This is the best hash/w card at the moment, next would be the Radeon R7 240.

So what's the current best combination up to 200W if you have all the other components? I could fit 4 more cards into the MB.

I've got 6 270 hashing at 4260 mh/s pulling 740 watts from the wall. Under volted from .085-.095 mv.

Best to run one type of card, either all AMD or Nvidia, mixing doesn't always work too good.

I've got 6 270 hashing at 4260 mh/s pulling 740 watts from the wall. Under volted from .085-.095 mv.

About 10x GTX 750ti can hash the same rate, but at 340 watts OC'ed.

Might be good to note that the 750 ti run at 30s watt because its bios locks it. You can get a small but signifiant but not watt efficient bump in hashing power by flashing the bios. It will then use 50-60 watts.

Google 750 ti rigs for more information. The page in question has all the numbers layed out in 3 pages articles with a 6x 750ti rig.

Hi miner765

Well, measuring as usual, from my experience:
1. Price
2. new/used card
3. Hash-power
4. watts

So the winners are:
1. R9 270X/270, approx. 185 watts. Can be still found new. Nice hash(420 on average)
2. 7790. Almost perfect: approx. 85 watts and 220 kH. Fairly cheap, can be found new if u are lucky.
3. 7770 and 7750. I'd say those are just "for fun" nowadays. 80watts and approx. 170 kH.

There is a bunch of other older cards.

Mining on any Nvidia, except reported above is a LOL as per me, in matter of particularly ur question.

Hope this helps ya.

r9 270 gets the same hash (if any worse, its like 5%) and is cheaper. Biggest advantage is it only uses 1 6 pin vs 2.

Try http://pcpartpicker.com/ most useful thing ever if your thinking of building a PC. Look for me on there, same username!

Cheapest reliable price (from a decent brand I mean) is $180 for a MSI V305 r9 270.
For r9 270x, its around $220. So yeah if you NEED that 20 extra kh/s or so and willing to pay more for PSU's electricity bills and more money as its more expensive go ahead  Grin (don't!)

So what's the current best combination up to 200W if you have all the other components? I could fit 4 more cards into the MB.

4x GTX 750ti...

Can you run them on 1 PC with ATI cards?

Best to run one type of card, either all AMD or Nvidia, mixing doesn't always work too good.

I've got 6 270 hashing at 4260 mh/s pulling 740 watts from the wall. Under volted from .085-.095 mv.

About 10x GTX 750ti can hash the same rate, but at 340 watts OC'ed.

That's the cards only. Breaking it down my 270
Are pulling 98 watts each so total 588 watts. Plus I only have to run one rig. Vs 3 broads, cpu, psu, ram, etc.
six 270 are cheaper then 10 750ti. Either way I think it's awesome for 300kh/s for roughly 34 watts. It'll be interesting to see what bigger Maxwell gpu can hash.
Also I just realized I stated the incorrect hash rate for my 270.
It's 2600 MHz/s

WHAT? Hash rate is measured in kh/s, mh/s, gh/s, th/s, etc..... What is MHz? Its not even clock speed of the card as that would mean that the gpu be running at 2.6 GHz, which if true your a true Overclocker Smiley please explain.
