Come out to the major streets,you will see people taking hard drugs as if it has legally approved by the government.

The law enforcement agencies that is supposed to check mate this people are even taking it more...

This has become a serious problem in our locality..as

1). You see young people continue to go mad everyday in our society.

2).there is an increase in crime.

3). Criminality is on the increase.

4).Lack of good health.

The moral that people hold in the society have gone really down to the extent that a lot of the people that takes this substance don't consider it so bad because it's something that the majority of the people around them are into. The government can only organise sensitisation program to help educate youths on the dangers of these substance but those that have the majority responsibility is the parents that are the primary guidance of most of these youths.

If from the home, the right orientation is being given to these youths, a lot of them won't even think of getting involved in this kind of vices let alone get to the extent of consuming some of the despicable substance that most of them consume. If you have good moral upbringing, you don't need to be forced to know that taking hard substance is a bad practice that should be avoided.

Hard drugs is very dangerous for human body like this oo, our youth need to hear this one so that them go learn how to control themselves, if some of them never take drugs them no fit get themselves, but they feel it’s an enjoyment while they are killing themselves, hard drugs is one of the things way the cause untimely death and destruction of society, it can lead to sickness and stroke way go lead to death, hard drugs causes mental illnesses way be say you they see so many people for street way they mad, and other are in psychiatric hospitals, it’s also a factor take makes people go into criminal activity.

Gen Z doesn't see intake of hard drugs as a crime anymore because the government have failed to carry out their duties properly. What matters is that you should avoid the environment where people take hard drugs to keep you safe from danger. Sincerely speaking the intake of hard drugs among youths in the Nigeria of today has become an epidemic, I don't know how the national orientation agency are going to work out modalities to tackle this pandemic, they just need to do something to reorientate the minds of the youths, the national drug law enforcement agency have been doing their effort in tackling pharmaceutical shops that sells this drugs to gullible youths, but their effort has not been enough, we need stiffer laws and punishment for drug abusers and for the people that are selling this illegal drugs too. In my street sometimes in the night you see a lot of them walking like zombies after taking in this drugs.

It is as a result of unemployment that we have young people all over our streets polluting it with drug abuse. Gambling addiction is also on the increase because of lack of unemployment. If we have enough jobs then we will not have unemployed youths or atleast the ones that are working will motivate others to make use of their talents and skills to get a job that can pay them well to take full control of their lifes. Drug abuse has been a problem of the country for a long time but way it is becoming so obvious recently is because of the rate at which the youths are unemployed and those that have some things that is giving them money, thinks living like the pop stars is a flex of how big and popping they are. We need education all over the country before things get out of hand. Many youths are dieing because of overdose of this drugs always and this is becoming a big problem for the governments.

In my own opinion, I will suggest to individuals who are addicts to hard drugs like Tramadol,methamphetamine cocaine, Fentanyl, heroin any other hard drugs to visit a doctor for medical advice. You are right mate, have not seen any usefulness of hard drugs than to harm, if you have experienced it do not go into it, many have lost their lives and properties as a result of hard drugs and pressure. Been a drug addict, alot comes with it and there are presence of some many disadvantages, some of these addicts can not lived up long enough before they cease to exists.

Ah! It's like say to someone, sin but don't sin. Womanize but don't Womanize always. Do bad things but don't do bad things constantly. While on the surface, this might look like advising someone to do things moderately, it is basically encouraging dem in a way, to say they should do it but not constantly, when you know how addictive such act can be. Hard drugs is highly addictive and causes mental disorders. Once you begin to take a drugs, it will make your brain addictive to it that the taker won't want to withdraw from it. Withdrawal syndrome is another factor that makes it more difficult for addicts to quite. So for me, it either you stop or you continue to be addicted to it.

In Africa Nigeria precisely, we don't wait for doctor's prescription because the doctors would delay you. Though there are many factors that making people not to wait for doctor's prescription because of high cost of hospital bills, waiting to take the doctor's prescription in a very long queue etc. so many went ahead to do self medication.

To eradicate drugs our government can only stop the promotion of those products and add "deadly" words on the packaging there is nothing more to do. There are various programs from individual centered campaigns to institutional and government programs to increase social awareness about the negative effects of drugs. I think family awareness is more important than state campaigns for drug control. Parents should keep an eye on the people with whom the guys of the family are associating and where they are going and should make their children aware of every activity.

Our government is getting a huge amount of tax every year from drugs, that's being spent on the development of the country so instead of finding a solution by stopping the source of government income it should focus on increasing awareness among the usual people.
