Hence, I think schools should put Bitcoin knowledge into their scheme because, Bitcoin has helped millions out of poverty and is still doing so. Hence, these educational institutions should look for a way to intimate the young growing ones on the need to invest in Bitcoin. The school is a place to be educated on the most recent happenings and how to get yourself with the need knowledge to avoid poverty.

If you make a quick search on Google about schools that offer cryptography courses, I think there are a lot of them out there now. They are not just popular, but then again, you don't necessarily need to start teaching about Bitcoin in school before everyone can learn about it.

Anyone who is willing to get the knowledge about anything can do that to some level without that thing being taught in school. We are in a digital era where we have access to a lot of information, and we don't necessarily need to visit the library for that.

This topic brings back memories, I was trying to teach Bitcoin to some schools in my area and after meeting with the proprietors they all said the same thing, they said that the government isn't in support of Bitcoin, one said its against the law because it is not centralised.

I told a friend who said that I wasted my time and effort, because he also tried to do something similar and he was told that he planned to corrupt the mind of the young ones, scam related allegations from teachers was pinned on him.

When a leader is blind he will stop many great things from happening, if the school owners are smart they would have allowed this but they behaved very oldy and gullible, this was already few years ago, now that Bitcoin have become well embraced I am sure that deep down they will have regrets.

Introducing the education of Bitcoin into institutions, let's say from basic to tertiary is very important, atleast kids would have the idea of Bitcoin from a tender age until when they're ready to begin investing and benefiting from it, adults in tertiary school who know about it but don't have deep knowledge concerning investing on it could benefit as well so it's a very nice idea, that would change the economic sector for good.

OP, there are a lot of similar topics on the forum, but you are mistaken in your word "should." As long as Bitcoin remains in the zone of rejection of some countries, no school owes you anything. If you think that Bitcoin helped you get out of poverty, it does not says anything about others. You can also spread information about Bitcoin if you think it is necessary. Your participation in the lives of others is very remarkable, but do not overdo it. I always send people to this forum; if they are interested, they will find something to read and how to proceed. Do not forget that not everyone is ready to invest for the long term, especially in poor countries, and sometimes the volatility of Bitcoin creates big troubles for those who are not ready for it. So do not be too stubborn; everyone can act in their interests, and you need to give them such a choice.

I used to be in support of this idea without carefully analyzing ways Bitcoin can be implemented into the educational system. When you say educational sector from what you wrote in the OP, it sounds like you're trying to carry the younger generation along, but let's not forget that this same sector has different levels, or should I say categories, so how we implement something like this matters.

Now, I'm not sure of how every country categories different levels in schools, but I'm quiet familiar with grade 1-5, junior high, High school and college. Before implementing something like this into the system, you have to consider the ages and levels involve. Children from grade 1-5, junior high, and high schools have one particular course in common, which happens to be ICT or basic computer education. Under this course, they are being thought basics of Technology, internet, web, electronic devices, etc, and their uses as well. Bitcoin can come in as a form of technology, with basic explanation of how it uses Blockchain technology, or other basic things. Mind you, this children are not as advanced as you are, so whatever we present to them matters a lot. College student can get a bit advance, but with some financial aspect being introduced.

Most schools are incorporating Blockchain technology and other tech related courses to her curriculum which stands to expose students to the knowledge of crypto and not just that but also helps them to get abrased with emerging technology. You will be surprised that even in some institutions the teachers and lecturers there have no idea about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency that is to say that they are not educated enough to try pass any knowledge to these younger children about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. The educational system needs to be made more attractive with incentive from the government so that it can attract younger people to the profession, younger people who are aware of bitcoin and have knowledge of it.
