The wide use of Bitcoin in a country will say more to that whether Bitcoin should be added to the school's curriculum. You don't expect a country that Bitcoin is not welcoming to, add Bitcoin to their school curriculum. Bitcoin should be widely used first, and the citizens of the country are into Bitcoin. That way the country's government can talk about adding Bitcoin to their school's curriculum, and it will not be kicked against.

So far, some universities in the USA are offering blockchain and crypto courses. El Salvador launches Bitcoin education in their schools

OP, it might please you to know that there are schools I mean Universities in the world now offering Crypto and Bitcoin courses in their curricular. These courses were well thought about and discussed about before it was implemented in the school curriculum.

The world is gradually evolving and new discoveries are being made so it would be in good tandems for the schools to also begin integrating these new fields of discovery into their curricular so that nothing seems or sounds strange and new to the new generations and also those who wants to go further into Bitcoin could go on with the studies to acquire more knowledge so as not to be left behind.

As for the list of schools already taking courses on Bitcoin, you can google them and see for yourself. I checked some were already listed here by members so you can do further research on it to see the extent to which the courses are being taught.

Bitcoin has been a life saver to many people, as it was targeted to fill in the bridge in the economic sector, the lapses of hard currency. And it's spread is global in the last 16years which is alarming and fast. Hence no country can even denie the global impact of Bitcoin.
The Bitcoin has be best coin in all over the world. Because it has helped people’s life out of the poverty and that’s why is good to introduce those that don’t know about Bitcoin in other to get knowledge about the Bitcoin, so that it can also helped them understand how the world works with the cryptocurrency market and earning a lot of money in the future after investing in Bitcoin.

Hence, educational institutions should take the responsibility to see that out younger generation know Bitcoin and how to invest in crypto currency.
This is a good ideal I think if all the younger generation can know about bitcoin it will reduce the crime rate in the country. Because is the lack of the jobs that is causing some youth to commit a violent crime, but if they can look over the younger and established educational institutions it can help people from poverty.

Why should free information all of a sudden be monetized all in the name Education sectors? You know what schools do, they make information hard to access through gatekeeping, and they also charge a fee for one to be able to access it. If one is really serious about learning Bitcoin, there are so many resources available. From YouTube tutorials, articles to forums like this one.

Just like one is willing to have financial freedom. They should also be willing to learn about Bitcoin… free of charge.
I have to agree with you mate. If one is really passionate to learn about bitcoin, even without going to school, you can still access all the materials that are freely posted all over the internet. Research is the key, and not going to school or universities and pay your tuition fees in exchange for bitcoin education.

Education now has been made easier through the internet technology. But if you are a person who does not do its due diligence to learn, and rely everything to other people, you will not really understand even the basics in bitcoin.

Hence, educational institutions should take the responsibility to see that out younger generation know Bitcoin and how to invest in crypto currency.
They have to modify the lesson plans that are being distributed to the teachers and what they teach to the younger generation now. It's all about setting them first and getting them prepared by having an idea of what they're actually doing. Because if they're going to change the syllabus, there might be some longer debates on it unless a bigger person in the education sector speaks to it absolutely that there is a need for changes. It's all about finance and investing and they can get through other ways of investing but one of it to deal is through investing in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency, this means that bitcoin has no CEO and there is no special team behind it that we write to the government of many countries, persuading them to include bitcoin in their educational sector. Everything that happens to bitcoin is all about self willing and individual convictions. If you are convinced that bitcoin needs to be taught in the schools, just start a school and enroll bitcoin in the syllabus.

Also don't forget that bitcoin is a volatile and risky asset, so it is not something to be taught children. Unless you will take away the investment aspect of it and if you do, the beauty of bitcoin is gone. So, let's go natural.

The are literally Bitcoin online courses scattered everywhere on the internet. Some are free and some others are not. Some can be completed in 2 hours and others may require more time. If we wait for the traditional educational system to accept Bitcoin courses into their curriculum we may likely wait for another millennium. We should take advantage of the non-traditional schooling method available to us to learn as much as we can about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

The problem with traditional institutions is that they root from the very systems that Bitcoin is against. Even if an modern educational institution were to want to teach Bitcoin, a lot of those who are knowledgeable in the field might prefer not to work with them, or work for themselves. Even if a college or university is offering to teach about Bitcoin, I would not trust them. I would rather learn how to do the research myself, than trust someone from an institution that has ultimately played a big part in the flawed system that governs the world today.
Many people who are deep into crypto like its ideas of being in charge of yourself so they might not want to join groups they see as part of broken system. Mistrust you feel towards colleges or universities teaching about Bitcoin is also common among some in crypto community. They worry that teaching would be unfair because these places are connected to money system we have now.
Your choice to learn about Bitcoin by doing our own research fits with idea of remain our own boss which is big part of Bitcoin. This way of learning certainly helps people understand things on their own terms.

It's a fair assumption that the education systems are built around the existing economic systems, and that it wasn't built for people to think for the themselves or think of alternatives to status quos and functions such as the current money system.

Your choice to learn about Bitcoin by doing our own research fits with idea of remain our own boss which is big part of Bitcoin. This way of learning certainly helps people understand things on their own terms.

While it comes with pitfalls along the way, it is currently the best method.

Only a few countries give an information about bitcoin and becomes public most likely its those country who support with the bitcoin but in terms of schools and institutions its only few offering that kind of knowledge if you want to learn only limited number on your hands offering knowledge about blockchain, web3 and bitcoin itself so sad to see that even though we keep pushing about the bitcoin only few want to know and grab the opportunity about the bitcoin.

But,  devoid the spread of Bitcoin some persons still don't know what Bitcoin is all about, some just know that there is something like Bitcoin but, if you ask them "what is Bitcoin?" Or what do you understand by Bitcoin? They may not give you any reasonable answer.

Hence, I think schools should put Bitcoin knowledge into their scheme because, Bitcoin has helped millions out of poverty and is still doing so. Hence, these educational institutions should look for a way to intimate the young growing ones on the need to invest in Bitcoin. The school is a place to be educated on the most recent happenings and how to get yourself with the need knowledge to avoid poverty.

Hence, educational institutions should take the responsibility to see that out younger generation know Bitcoin and how to invest in crypto currency.

bitcoin doesn't need to be taught in a school before anyone can gain wide understanding about the project, bitcoin is not all that complex compared to other projects that needs extensive study so you don't fall into rugpulls, though there are institutions that offer crypto courses but with your internet connection and your own  research, you can gain understanding of what and how bitcoin operates. Indeed bitcoin has been a profitable project for creation till now but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't consider the risk attached, however only long term holders are likely to experience lower risk due to volatility.

If you make a quick search on Google about schools that offer cryptography courses, I think there are a lot of them out there now. They are not just popular, but then again, you don't necessarily need to start teaching about Bitcoin in school before everyone can learn about it.

As far as I know cryptography had been part of the school curriculum, especially at the collegiate level.  This might be not the case in elementary and rarely in high school but colleges and universities are full-fledged in teaching cryptography under Computer Science or Cyber Security.  Some even have a master's degree in this.  In addition, it is true that many online courses offer cryptography lessons and even give certification of completion once a person completed the course.  I think the one that should be emphasized is blockchain technology since it is an application of the usage of cryptography besides, the thread is talking about Bitcoin, and blockchain technology is the technology that makes Bitcoin work so I think it is given that if one wanted to learn about Bitcoin, one must understand how blockchain works.

Anyone who is willing to get the knowledge about anything can do that to some level without that thing being taught in school. We are in a digital era where we have access to a lot of information, and we don't necessarily need to visit the library for that.

True we do not need to visit the physical libraries anymore because most of the information is brought by the internet, just a search button away to anyone who is looking for information.

True we do not need to visit the physical libraries anymore because most of the information is brought by the internet, just a search button away to anyone who is looking for information.
I would argue it is easier to find good and viable information in a library than on the internet however.  For the general population at least.

Too many people got used to ONLY pushing that ONE button to look for information and believe the first link they read up on, or not even reading the article itself but only the title and drawing their own conclusion out of it.  Not to mention how many people I hear nowadays getting their information from Chat GPT, the way people are nowadays researching is very, very bad in my opinion.

Libraries contain a lot of bull from a few writers too, but generally it is better to read up on a subject from a book than off the internet if the reader is the average person and does no prior research.

Bitcoin in the educational sector can promote the awareness of Bitcoin which can also be a nice idea.I have seen so many tutors enlightened their students on bitcoin. Many bitcoin enthusiasts uses whatever opportunity they have to promote the awareness of Bitcoin to their audience.I don't find anything wrong if bitcoin is added to the educational sector because the world revolves and perhaps we're in a digital era.If fiat is been lectured in the educational sector how much more Bitcoin can't,it's just a matter of time.Fiat is added to the educational sector because it's generally accepted by the government,so when bitcoin has been accepted by the government there's a high chance that it can be added to the curriculum in the educational sector.
The content of the Op might seem impossible due to restrictions by government, the aim of the OP's content is to promote the awareness and endeavor individuals are knowledgeable about bitcoin.

Bitcoin as gain many people trust already. so even they didn't teach Bitcoin in school they will still have alot of new people that are investing on it. With how some countries are the government didn't like Bitcoin how can they teach it in the university, when the government is complaining about it and trying is best to get control over it. In my opinion he will be very difficult they should make Bitcoin general in university to study about it. If you are ready to learn about bitcoin is not accept they most teach It in the school before you can get more knowledge about the coin they is Internet that you can make your research and get some knowledge and experience on how to invest on it or probably how to trade it again. Is very important if high school can adapt Bitcoin in there courses, Bitcoin will be more popular then before and people will have more trust on the coin but some countries he will be hard to study it.

Since we have gain knowledge in school we should used our knowledge, experience to study about bitcoin if you have hear about it. Because he will be very difficult that you study for complete 4 to 6 years you didn't hear about bitcoin, we should used our experience and get dip into it and make some research about it, and see if is real or not but some will hear but they are not interested to invest or lack of funds to invest on the bitcoin. I can say some students study bitcoin within there self in the school and get each other trust to invest in privacy without knowing what they are doing. What I believe even they didn't study bitcoin in school, they will still be high population to invest everyday. since the Internet is moving smoothly bitcoin will still be existing.

Since Bitcoin is a global asset and almost becomes a global currency as well. So Bitcoin should be included in the academy where Bitcoin is legal. For my country, we can't imagine adding Bitcoin to the academy because it's not legal around here. We learn about Bitcoin from various sources, including this forum. If someone wants to learn about Bitcoin, he can learn somehow.

It's normal; everybody will not be interested in Bitcoin. But since it's part of the global economy, I feel we should know what Bitcoin actually is. Never mind if everyone doesn't want to use it; they should know everything about it. I believe the next generation will automatically be aware of Bitcoin since global media are focusing hard on Bitcoin.

Bitcoin or crypto in general will be an optional course to study in schools mainly in universities since students are already in close time to begin facing life challenges, they need something to prepare them for life. If universities across the globe begin to add Bitcoin to their scheme of teaching, there will be real transformation in the way people view Bitcoin and those who will become concerned to invest.

There will be better understanding if they are being taught physical education in schools than when they seek knowledge from the internet, if the process of learning through the internet is better, then why send ourselves to school and pay fees. Schools adopting Bitcoin in their sector will give more hands to Bitcoin.

What I believe even they didn't study bitcoin in school, they will still be high population to invest everyday. since the Internet is moving smoothly bitcoin will still be existing.

That is the fact. even without universities or colleges including Bitcoin as a course, Bitcoin has already gained popularity. I don't know about older people, but trust me, in this current generation, a lot of people have heard about Bitcoin, and many from this generation are involved in Bitcoin, either through investment or trading. So, in my own view, I don't think it's necessary to include courses on Bitcoin in schools. With the current rate at which this generation is into Bitcoin, trust me, the rate at which the next generation will get involved in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general will be even higher. That is how it will continue, and almost everyone will know about Bitcoin and adopt it.

The reason some people aren’t into Bitcoin yet is that Bitcoin is not legalized in many countries. In those countries where Bitcoin is not legalized, dealing with it could put you in trouble with the government. So, if I were to say what is holding Bitcoin back and preventing many people from adopting it, I’d say it’s the government. Even without formal education on the course, people still know about it because it will always be some percentage of people discussing it,people will talk about it as they are always talk about other currency. What’s holding people back is the government, but I believe it’s only a matter of time. The truth is, Bitcoin is getting more popular every day.

Bitcoin Legality Maps show a different fact and I saw there are less countries consider Bitcoin as Illegal than nations consider it as Legal or Allegal.

Your saying is like from your thinking and it is not based on any available data.

They wasted many years to do this and now it is too late for them to ban Bitcoin and prohibit their citizens accessing Bitcoin blockchain and own bitcoins. They will make legal adoption for Bitcoin but they will try to attach as many regulations as possible in future. Like years ago, we were able to use centralized exchanges without KYC but in last two or three years, KYC has become a new standard on centralized exchanges. As said I believe more regulations will come in future when governments know they can not ban this industry but can adopt to it and receive a lot of financial benefit from it.

There are lots of people out there who also would love to have bitcoin in their portfolio but the fact that the government terms it as illegal is the reason behind their withdrawal from the the idea. But I've also heard of some person who migrated from their country just to gain some level of experience of using bitcoin. It's high time some of these governments realize that their fight with Bitcoin is to no avail because it's obvious the world is going into global adoption and they'll end up missing and denying their citizens all these opportunities that lies with the market currently.

Bitcoin has been a life saver to many people, as it was targeted to fill in the bridge in the economic sector, the lapses of hard currency. And it's spread is global in the last 16years which is alarming and fast. Hence no country can even denie the global impact of Bitcoin.

I support this notion, Bitcoin is vast now we can't shy away from the effect it has on the world right now.
It is high time they started educating kids in school about Bitcoin because whether or not they will eventually want to learn about when they grow so why not start early.

Every time i have the opportunity to talk to younger people i try to explain to them the importance of cryptocurrency, that was my mistake i didn't learn about Bitcoin early but like they say it is better late than never.
