Since it can’t be denied that most gamblers share the same fate which we lose in the long run. let’s say we’re losing a max of $20 per day, but we’re genuinely having fun with it.
Would you still consider that as wasting money, just for the sake of gambling? Or how would you justify that daily loss in a way that makes it feel more like a positive experience rather than just throwing money away?
This will depend entirely on a person's income. If there are different sources of income, then spending $20 on gambling daily will not have any effect. On the other hand, those who have a low income can spend less according to their income. If money can be spent on gambling within their ability, there is entertainment there, but when it is spent excessively, it will bring disaster. For some, gambling can be $20 for entertainment or $10 or even less for others. Now, there are some who do not find much pleasure in betting small amounts and must bet more. It will depend entirely on the person himself.

$20 is nothing for a rich gambler, it was just a throwaway money for them. But for poor people, this is already huge.
There is a post that "I'm rich because I am a gambler". That something defines that rich people can afford to lose money while poor people cannot. But I don't think that if we can afford to lose $20 a day, it's just okay. Certainly, a responsible gambler doesn't see it right.
Although we believe that we could lose more in gambling. It doesn't mean that it was okay to lose every day.

Rich people are rich because they can count money. You so easily say $20 is nothing, but it becomes $600 per month and $7200 per year. If you even willn`t spend it you get nice sum after a year. Just calculate what interesting and useful things you can buy. And on the other hand just everyday spending time and money. PS. I can lose $20-$50-$100, it is not a problem. But everyday losing and repeat it day by day - even sounds awful for me.

I don't like losing at all, no matter the amount. You said that if you lose $20 every day, it's not a problem, but if you lose $20 every day, at the end of the week you will lose $140 and at the end of the month you will lose $560. If you continue to lose money like this, then no matter how much money you have, at some point you will run out of money, so you will lose money, instead of thinking about how to bring the results in your favor by gambling, and at least have such confidence that even if you gamble less, you will make a profit of $1 to $5 every day. When your profit is consistent, you will think about how to increase your profit, this way you will be successful in gambling.

One thing that gambler has to keep in mind is that he will always lose sooner or later. And for gambling 20 USD every day it is decent money when you add it at the end of the month ( 20 USD x 30 days = 600 USD at the end of the month ). I would not waste that kind of money on gambling even if I had money to throw away. I usually gamble much smaller amounts that I will not miss if I lose them completely.

If you mentioned an average loss amount, it would probably be a small amount of money that you are prepared to lose on a regular basis. But you didn't mention the amount of money you win. You won't always lose. Sometimes you can win an amount that is consistent with losing for a few weeks. Be prepared to lose and at the same time keep motivating yourself to win. Losing money on gambling is not a waste, it is a good way to entertain yourself.

The main thing we must pay attention to when spending a budget for gambling is using more money or not using money that should be used to meet basic needs, if this is always applied when gambling then it will not be a problem when experiencing defeat because the budget spent on gambling is outside of basic needs. It is undeniable that when experiencing defeat in gambling we will finally feel disappointed, but even so we must be able to realize the risks experienced when we enter to risk the money we have to play gambling

Though, assuming you somehow managed to get profits in a consistent way out of gambling, if those profits are only about one dollar or little more than that , then it would be neglectable, because of the expenses people usually have in their daily life. Not even mention that one dollar or so are just to little to earn in an entire day of work. To me ironically, it is easier to lose twenty dollars daily in a casinos than consistently winning five bucks daily thanks to one's good luck, in the end the house edge kicks in and makes casinos to always be profitable, eliminating or severely reducing the chances of you winning one buck per day out of gambling. It is better just to see gambling as entertainment and forget about winnings before they actually happen.

The most common issue for most gamblers is that we do go beyond our limits and we do lately be able to realize that we shouldnt have done that in the first place. There are just that those times that we do let our greed control us and this what makes that these kind of mistakes that had been done. Always play for fun and entertainment and not making gambling to be that a money making thing. Usually we do get that delusional and this what pushes us to be that desperate. Losing up $20 per day and thats 600 bucks a month then if you are that be able to afford on losing that amount then it should be fine but if this amount would be getting that huge chunk into your salary then that would be surely a suicide thing to do.

If we are having fun or in other words is that losing $20 per day is not affecting our life financially, it cant be said as wasting money because if we think that it is wasting money then we wont feel the fun of it. As a gambler, I will never say that doing gambling is equal to throw money away because I get the entertainment while doing it, I get the chance to win something with it and the most important thing is that I'm doing it responsibly.

You are a lame gambler if you do it every freaking day, that shows how irresponsible you are because it's a suicide to gamble everyday, gullible people who thinks that gambling is here to safe their asses from poverty are the ones that gambles every day and it doesn't even take very long to learn that you are wrong.
Look, a wise person will not gamble everyday, it's not a job, it's not a source of making money, it should be a source of wasting free times and having some fun, if you lack these two then you are here solely for the money, a matter of fact? You will learn the hard way.
The only thing I can promise you in gambling is entertainment, anything else is not guaranteed, if you must risk money make sure you are willing to lose that money without getting anything back.

but instead I would save the money up and gamble using those saved-up funds when I feel like gambling.
What if you feel like gambling every day? Like me, for example, whenever I get bored, I easily open the gambling app and play slots. And as we all know, slots have a house edge, so in the long run, we’re really expected to lose. I could end up losing around $20 a day, which is already quite a lot for me though I know others can afford more. But here’s the real point: even if you can afford to lose that money, if you keep losing every day, how do you justify it? Do you think that loss is actually bringing any benefit to you?Like I said, it will differ from person to person. If you feel like gambling every day and the money you gamble is within your budget, and it is money you can afford to lose, then go for it, if not, then don't. If gambling brings you entertainment and makes you happy, then that is the justification, and feeling entertained and happy is the benefit you get from that daily $20 loss. You are right that, everyone has their limits, there are people that can lose even 50 dollars comfortably everyday and some can't afford such an amount of money. It's all about knowing what you are comfortable with. But my thoughts on people who lose this amount daily is, no matter wealthy you are it would still affect you in the long run. You don't notice notice how it affects you but accumulatively you are losing a big deal.

Most times having the mindset that is prepared to lose a certain amount is somewhat an addiction in itself, because since you already make plans and fund's set aside for such situations it make you to lose without any feelings towards what you have lost and could be disaster if not checked, because of such a gambler have access to steady cash flow he she could easily miss use the funds to gamble More instead taking a break when he hit the loses at some point.

There is no fun in blowing money away, it's a waste. That money is $140 in a week, $600 in a month, $7,300 in a year, $14,600 in 2 years, and $73,000 in 10 years. This is not even 1/4 of the money that some successful people started their success journey with. Anyone saying it's nothing and they are having fun losing it is foolish. When you accumulate all the money you lose in gambling it amounts to a significant amount..when you lose what you are comfortable with this doesn't affect you at that moment but do not forget that the losses keeps compounding...This is the mindset that a lot of gamblers don't have, they always look at the temporary losses forgetting that it keeps on increasing if they don't find a way to control their addiction.

I don't know how a person can lose money on a daily basis and still feel happy. It may vary from person to person; some may feel happy just because they came for fun, and if they can have fun while losing money, then of course they will feel happy. But it's very minimal because a lot of people come here to earn, not to lose. If they lose on a daily basis, there is a chance that they may go into depression. On the other hand, there may be some people for whom $20 is very little, and their budget is much wider, so they can feel happy even if they lose.

$20 a day on gambling I would consider a waste, but that's because I don't really enjoy gambling like that. I'd be much happier spending $20 a day getting a meal doordashed to me than spending a few minutes at a slot machine. I'd be happier putting $20 a day into my stock portfolio to watch it grow, or buying more Bitcoin and watching my stack grow. Hell, I'd be happier paying for all the streaming services. Especially the premium ones I would never pay for like NBA League Pass. I'd be happier having a beer everyday at my local pub. Grabbing a burger every day at my corner restaurant. There are lots of things I'd rather do with $20 a day than gamble. That's just me.

It's fully depend on the person who actually gambling, there is lots of people in this earth that not the $20 even 20cent would be pressure for them to do regular gambling. So it's definitely depends on the person who is playing if he can afford not only the 20$ , if 200$ it's nothing wrong if he lose everyday. But the things should be like that the loss is not hampering him by financially, if it is then I think he should do that much which will not hamper his financial States. So it is not a fact of 20$ loss it is the fact what he can afford to loss .

There are some people who spend more than that amount on other activities that give them pleasure. As much as the gambler can afford to spend such an amount on gambling every day without having financial issues, then there should be no problem. I don't think OP's intention is to just waste $20 every day. I am sure that he might be lucky some days and make some profit. He is just saying that he budgets that amount for daily gambling entertainment.

It is quite possible that such losses for many players just as an inoculation, because a real player realizes that he can not stop and will play until the last breath, then perhaps the loss of 20 dollars will satisfy the instinct of the player, and the amount is not so big for most people to go broke, so it is bad to lose, but it is better to lose small losses than bet once a large amount of money on a single event, the all-in, which many people wait their whole lives and which may never happen, but to ruin the big bets have been able to many people

I don't know how a person can lose money on a daily basis and still feel happy. It may vary from person to person; some may feel happy just because they came for fun, and if they can have fun while losing money, then of course they will feel happy. But it's very minimal because a lot of people come here to earn, not to lose. Well. you already answer your question, they are happy because they gamble for fun so losing money for entertainment is normal for them. If they lose on a daily basis, there is a chance that they may go into depression.
Only gambler or people who gambles money that they can't afford to lose become depressed because after all was lost, the expenses that should have been covered by that lost money have now become a problem. On the other hand, there may be some people for whom $20 is very little, and their budget is much wider, so they can feel happy even if they lose. I agree that for those who can afford to lose $20 daily won't feel any regret and probably are satisfied since they can have fun in just a small amount but I doubt a regular employee in a developing country can sustain such expenditure in gambling daily. I am sure if a regular employee loses $20 daily, this person will be in financial ruin anytime soon since $20 is more than the minimum wage in my country.
