I'm looking forward to the Aris Olympiakos match but also kinda counting on Panathinaikos hitting a mishap against volos.

Volos is quite competitive this year and Panathinaikos has hit mishaps even against smaller teams so I wouldn't be too surprised. Ofc Panathinaikos is a much bigger team and it would be natural to expect a win but they're not doing great domestically this year
 

OFI might have won against the last tram in the rankings but still it's not certain if they can avoid relegation because we still have plenty of matches to go.

I'm surprised that Olympiakos vs. Aris is still at 0-0, Olympiakos' performance is quite good but they seem to be struggling against Aris' defence. The match is ending in the next few minutes, nothing is certain till then, but I'm guessing it'll end in a tie. As for Panathinaikos, I would say the same, as they haven't been in their best performance this season, they're winning however with two goals. It would be quite disappointing to lose from Volos, who has been quite decent in the league so far.

Posting the upcoming matches, with a few great opportunities and interesting matches. We officially have a derby of the weekend, if I remember correctly, there wasn't one in the previous two weeks; Panathinaikos vs. PAOK. I'm personally routing for PAOK, judging by Panathinaikos' performance this league. OFI is also playing against AEK, a certain defeat from our end, with a very possible score of 3-0. Other interesting options are Asteras vs. Aris and perhaps Volos vs. Panetolikos. We'll see how that goes in the upcoming few days.

Olympiakos is currently playing against Kifissia (62' minute) and the score is a tie, 1-1. Olympiakos scored the first goal, followed by Kifissia shortly after. So far it's an interesting game, but I believe that Olympiakos is eventually going to win; I don't think Kifissia can hold much longer. Aris also won against Asteras Tripolis, which performed quite good but ultimately lost, while Volos won against Panetolikos. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game of OFI vs. AEK, although it's a certaind defeat.

PAOK vs. Panathinaikos is about to end in the next few minutes, with PAOK scoring two goals. As I expected, PAOK is going to win, it was a great match and provided decent odds, the outcome was expected, even though nothing is guaranteed. The surprise of the day however, is OFI vs. AEK, OFI scored the first goal in the second minute of the game, which is outstanding, I'm not sure if they can keep up though, as we have a long time to go, AEK is pushing a lot. I believe the score is going to end in 2-1, with AEK winning, or a tie. Any thoughts? @Alani123

Now we have another match in Monday between panseraikos and levadeiakos on Monday and the league will be on break till January 10.

I think levadeiakos is a clear favourite given their great performance this year. But as of the latest match day, I didn't see any large surprises. Except of course Olympiakos tying kifisia which was a hugely unexpected result. Now they'll have a harder time for first spot.

Today's match wasn't a surpsise, Levadiakos is at the fourth place this league, just a little behind PAOK, Panseraikos on the other hand is last, it was almost impossible for them to win. I was a little dissapointed with OFI vs. AEK, it started out good, scoring one goal, but ultimately AEK won the game with two goals and a final score of 2-1, just like I predicted on the previous post. I never had high expectations for this game, but scoring the first goal so fast shook me up a little and believed that we had a chance to at least end it in a tie.

Happy new year to everyone!

As the Christmas holidays are slowly coming to an end, it's time to get back to our gambling habbits! Although the Greek League is restarting the next weekend, today is playing OFI vs. Olympiakos, in Pagkritio stadium for Betsson Super Cup in just an hour from now. With the holidays and everything I had completely forgotten about it, but at least I remembered it an hour before it starts. Hopefully everything will go smoothly because the weather isn't in our favour.

Unfortunately, as expected, OFI lost against Olympiakos in the Super Cup. However, OFI displayed a great performance and managed to withstand against Olympiakos with no goals till the 95th minute. Ultimately, Olympiakos scored three goals during the time extension, it was a long game!

Moving on to the upcoming matches of the week, no derbies this week either, unless Aris vs. AEK counts, with a few interesting matches as well, such as OFI vs. Asteras, Levadiakos vs. Volos. Posting the schedule below.

The league is quite open as always but it open to the usual suspects most of the time and this is what I don't like from Balkan leagues or leagues like Greece which is near such countries, in there it looks like always dominate a single team or two, maximum three at best though the problem is that they are always the same teams, same in Croatia, same in Montenegro, same in Albania, same in Serbia and all near countries that have the same type of sport super league. This is unfortunately not going to change no matter what the presidents of the clubs do or football federations do, it is the mentality that needs to be changed in these type of leagues, at least this is what I think needs to change for better performance.

Well, it has already been mentioned before that the Greek League is no different; you'll always see Olympiakos, PAOK, AEK and Panathinaikos at the top and then the other teams follow. However, in this year's league, we're noticing some other teams that are performing a lot better and hold a good place in the standings, something which wasn't as prevalent in last year's league. Levadiakos is on the fourth place, followed by Volos and then Panathinaikos, which until recently, was at the middle of the total score. Aris has been doing quite good as well.

Matchday is starting tomorrow and thought it would be a good idea to post the odds for the upcoming matches. I'm personally going for OFI vs. Asteras, which has pretty good odds, Aris vs. AEK, Volos vs. Levadiakos has average odds, not sure if I'll end up opting for it but I'm considering it, and from what I'm observing, I'm going to skip the rest of the matches, at most, I'll bet on Panetolikos vs. PAOK, with an over 2.5 bet, which has 1.75 odds, not too bad, but not great either.

This week's matchday started out great, with OFI winning against Asteras Tripolis, it would be a huge bummer if we lost, with four goals against them, a clear victory, while PAOK won against Panetolikos with three goals (quite an easy game for PAOK). Levadiakos also won against Volos, in an interesting game, as both teams are doing quite great this league (4th and 5th place respectively). We're now waiting to see how AEK vs. Aris is going to turn out, I'm expecting two goals from AEK or a tie.

Dang it was a really busy day for me today and I was really edging on the idea of taking the time to bet on AEK winning against Panathinaikos but in the end I didn't do it.
Big regret, I was surely expecting AEK to win but never by such a large goal difference a let alone Panathinaikos not even scoring. It was the biggest match of the day and Panathinaikos seems like they forgot to play football. How are they even performing abroad when they can't score a single goal within their own country is beyond me.

I'm watching European tournaments and Olympiakos is barely hanging on champions league which is an achievement in and of itself then there's also Panathinaikos and PAOK still in europa league but their matches are extremely hard because they have to play with Lyon and Roma respectively so it might be extremely hard advancing for any of the teams I mentioned.

AEK is doing a lot better in the conference league. This tournament seems to favour greek teams a lot somehow.

I haven't been much active in gambling either, too busy with work, also got sick and had numerous other stuff to attend to and completely missed out the previous week. Olympiakos is doing quite good, winning against Leverkusen a few days ago; I'm now looking forward to their match against Ajax. I was also surprised to see Pafos in the tournament as well, even though they lost against Chelsea (quite expected), it's still an achievement to even be there. As for the Greek Super League, I was delighted to see OFI finally doing a little better and winning against Panetolikos today.

For Olympiakos winning against Leverkusen was already extremely good but now a match against Ajax which will be crucial for further qualification is a very tough situation.

It's a tough place to be in the champions league.

Other teams are fairing better in other European organisations obviously. Meanwhile Olympiakos isn't even first in the domestic league.

We'll see on Wednesday, not getting my hopes up because it's going to be a tough one for sure. Moving on to the Greek Super League, the upcoming weekend is going to be quite interesting, OFI is playing against Atromitos, judging from our recent performance, I believe we have decent chances of winning. The spotlight though is Sunday's derby between Olympiakos vs. AEK, who do think is going to win or how would you predict the outcome of the match? I haven't checked the odds yet, but I'm considering of opting for a more "neutral" bet.

Olympiakos vs. Ajax is now live, no goals have been scored yet and we're all routing for Olympiakos. It's going to be a tough match for both teams. The odds are 3.0 for Ajax and 2.30 for Olympiakos. I personally haven't placed a bet anf probably won't, I'm clueless on what the outcome is going to be; in the worst case scenario, I'm going to place a small bet, such as $10-$20 on over 2 or 2.5. I'm quite new on participating on the Champion's League matches.

The other day i was looking into the greek leaderboard and i cant believe what my eyes saw, what the hell is this season of Panatinaikos?

I mean how they are so low in the leaderboard, they look like trash and the team is nearly the same as other years, with some "good" players, at least for the greek league level, so what happens with them? I saw also Rafa Benitez is now the coach and is not doing a bad job, but the season is already lost.
