I think that it'll be a better idea to have a special Bitcoin wallet for children education fund, parents that have Bitcoin knowledge can fund the none custodial wallet through a special DCA method. Banks can never give you interest that will compare to the ROI that Bitcoin you will them on the long term. If a parent starts the DCA at childbirth, the child's education can be funded from the Bitcoin ROI. First off, I do not believe leaving an investment behind for our children is the best thing we can do for them, and it's not also teaching them about investing investment, the best gift we can give our children is education, enroll them in the best schools and ensure they learn to read, write and speak fluently, this is the best gift we can give to our children, without good education, you can leave investment for them but they end up uselessing the investment, you can teach them also but without education, they won't also go far.

And Secondly, bitcoin is not the only good investment around, if a child isn't interested in investing in bitcoin or participating in crypto related investments, allow them, you don't need to force them because if or when they investment fail to yield the desired result, you are the one they will turn around to blame.

In my understanding, for children to develop in the best and most comprehensive way, they need to be fully educated but it is also important that the knowledge is age-appropriate. It's not that the earlier and more you teach them, the better for them.


Everything needs to be in order just like a child needs to learn to crawl before learning to walk and run. If they don't even know basic financial knowledge like saving, value or how to use money...teaching them how to invest is pointless. Bitcoin is an investment and risky, if misunderstood and used incorrectly the consequences can be dire. So I wouldn't rush into teaching my kids about bitcoin, I would only introduce it when they are truly ready.

Just let them be.  It is not a sin not to invest in Bitcoin and it is not the end of the world for them if they miss out on Bitcoin.  If the parents are so eager to invest in Bitcoin why not they do it themselves.  Pushing someone to do something that they do not like will only result in a conflict.

They first know their country's currency and then know about bitcoin and crypto, but of course it will be adjusted to their age, When my son will be 5 years old I tell him some of the top Bitcoin and altcoin logos,
of course, it will be a good start for their interest and when my son finds that logo somewhere he will know that it is called Bitcoin or some other altcoin.

That's the approach I'm going to take, not giving them knowledge that they shouldn't have to think about, but with a method that they will slowly understand in the end.

Leaving bitcoin investments for your kids isn't really a good move. There are other investments "By the books " with very nice ROI. The problem is the risk involved in transferring hodlings. The internet can be a very dangerous place for those that are not properly informed. The only exception where leaving hodlings for your kids plays out safely is if they have proper understanding and interest in both privacy and Decentralisation. Else you may end up hodling for a random scammer or hacker to steal in the end..

I think its rather a good idea to leave Bitcoin investment to children, though it is requires that this children should have attained certain ages, at leat, they should have reached adult ages levels to make some decisions. When a child becomes an adult, if he does not show interest in investing, then he should not be pressured because an adult child knows how to analyze his good and bad judgment. I am not of the opinion of teaching children about bitcoin investment. We know that bitcoin investment is risky and we shouldn't teach children who have not started earning about investments with high risk. If it is absolutely necessary to teach them, we should not touch the investment aspect of it. And we know how boring it will be teaching bitcoin without mentioning the investment aspect.

I suggest we allow children to learn children things. Allow them to play the puzzle games and not bother them with something capable of disturbing emotions. You can invest for them, when they come to age, you teach them about bitcoin.
