That is the best betting strategies, using to r allocating 1 percent of their weekly/monthly income to gamble shows how responsible that gambler could be. Allocating this percentage means even though you have emptied your account you wouldn't for any day touch your funds again to stake on bet till it's time for another refilling of your account, this monthly what I does and I don't constantly refill my account till have some good matches to bet on before I will topup balance again to stake on that matches I predicted.

Sometimes if I just want to bet on a match in a week, I will use 100% of my bankroll on gambling.

As you have said, it is important that we know how we could manage on what we have, so that we could gamble as according to our capacity and what will not affect us, depending on our income, we should be able to know the amount rationed for gambling use, this will help us manage our income well and also have an extension in using our bankroll for gambling, since we have a limit to how much we can use for gambling.

It's a low amount, but I also prefer not taking too many risks. Yeah some gamblers don’t have a specific amount of money from the bankroll they bet on every match or game as long as they don’t exceed the amount that they have set aside for their bankroll. You can also apply some variety so that you can, as you said, add more excitement as spending the same amount every time may bore you.

That bankroll strategy or discipline is not new, it's the same as bankroll management in trading where you only use your 1% of your bankroll to risk, however in trading you can use a leverage to increase your position without using too much of your bankroll but in gambling site especially in sports betting, you can't.

Different players have different strategies, my personal strategy is I will set a weekly budget let's say $50-$80, just for sports betting if I win that week, I will send the remainder to my wallet and leave $80 in my gambling account and if I lose I'll just top up again. In this way, I would be able to control and discipline myself.

1% of your bankroll as base bet is a good idea. This way you can make your money last longer, so you can play for longer periods of time. Probably at some point you will have to raise that base bet in order to try recovering yourself from previous losses as part of your gambling strategy, but it's still the most cost effective method in my opinion. I don't go beyond 1% in most cases cause I know what I'm in for but sometimes if I tend to go above that range it depend on the gravity of the game or basically if I got sure prediction about that certain game hitting big, that's when I can increase my bankroll. For both sports betting and casino, I pay attention to what I can afford to lose in a single day and by that I am also gauging what I can afford to lose in a week and even month. When that amount reaches, I stop gambling. Since sports betting is a one off something, I place the bet with part of my daily gambling amount and use the balance to try my hands in slot and see how lucky I will be for the day. I also try to gamble when I feel like gambling and not force myself to gamble everyday.

I don’t believe that there’s an “expert” on gambling however I consider someone as an experienced gambler since all gambling games relies on luck except on some games that skills will give +EV.

The strategy that you mention is indeed the best thing to do for playing in controlled manner. Betting randomly will make you greedy at some point when your emotion kicks in after experiencing losing/winning streak.

I do always consider the matches in sports betting it gives an insight if the team or the player has the potential to win the game thus the odds also matters because if you are kind of lowballer bettor in the scene and you make a bet in a game with a high chance of winnings for sure you will not enjoy the profit why because the small odds it seems you are making a risk in a return of small profit but on the other hand people considered this as good because we are seeking for the total accumulated earnings not by the count of the games. So it quite depends on the player how they will see the matches, and the odds it could give to them.

Risk management is a system used to reduce the risks of losing more than what you gain. The bankroll calculations you outlined are very safe because of the total amount budgeted, 30 dollars on each bet from a thousand dollars bankroll is absolutely safe there can only be a problem when the bettor tried to make more profit in a hurry or chasing losses by increasing the stake amount. Mostly It depends from many things.
Once a full balance has been allocated I can play with 10/15% of balance in the same time (maybe in more matches). I am always trying to have some emergency find. Of course all bets must be tracked and verified in order to have and idea costantly of the current status...
Probably based on type of bets or match I could revise the strategy but there Is always a cautious approach on It.
