Why don't the rich people get addicted easily?

This is an open question, maybe I could be wrong in the eye of some of you but am asking this question because a  large number of addicted gamblers are not even up to a middle class standard but they are addicted. Can someone tell me why it's like that or is it totally a different case in your society, maybe an opposite of what I asking is happening in your own society. Poor people gets more addicted, following the middle class before it gets to the rich. Since it's like that, I think it's just the poor people that are gambling the most in the world, if am not correct, I stand to be corrected.

Cause people's get more desperate to earn some money when they don't have the secured fund. When people's have more needs and they need to be rich with very little those people fall much of these catagory to take more risk and gain exponentiallh. This is the sole reason who don't have the much money they spent much time on these gambling and lose more money.
Well this is the opposite with rich people. They don't need to became or proof themselves by gambling. So they tend to gets less addicted.

They are much better at managing their finance than normal people and they know where and how to take risks. It's not that rich people don't gamble.
If we go to a physical casino, you could see more than 50% of people there are ultra rich. They spend money and have fun. They don't take grudges on losing or are excited on winning. They already set an amount they are willing to lose and for them, the amount is generally lower than 1% of their monthly income so they can easily recover, financially and emotionally.

I don't agree with what you are saying, how did you know that people who don't have enough money take higher risks in gambling than those who are rich. Someone who doesn't have enough money will become very afraid of taking high risks in gambling and that is the reason why they stake with little money hoping to win big but those who have money are the high risk takers because even if they lose they will still have enough money with them and they can stake a huge bet and lose heavily as well. I agree that rich people do not get easily addicted to gambling since they are committed to their income generating sources but in the area of high risks in gambling, they take higher risks.

But I don’t think anything would change for me if I became richer, because if before I could bet smaller amounts and now several times more, I would still remain the same player I was. You are right but not all rich folks do set limit in gambling some of them gamble and behave anyhow because they feel they have money and they are on top of the world. Some rich easily get addicted especially those that are not educated but has money, they wouldn't know when top and when not to stop, but some of them stand at a very big advantage of not becoming an addict because they already have the money so they will just gamble sometimes or most times just to catch fun and there pattern or way of gambling is always different because they won't pick a lots of game.

Simple as ABC nursery rhymes. They are not chasing a lose or more wins but just there to participate in their free period of the day. But the poor is there to make more money and for that they chase both loses and like to win more at all time. Without proper control, they end up losing their temper and afterwards become addicted and lose a lot, with rich gambler where they can always have other things in life to be busy, while poor will keep the hope and keep losing a lot of money.

This question is base on individual difference between the rich and the poor ,now the rich play casino and the poor too play casino now in the world in general today how can you know the persons who are addicted because not everyone that went to bet company shop anymore to place a bet , almost everybody has the simple computer at home that he or she uses to stake ,now since they doing it secretly how do you know that Mr A is Gambling,no one can literally tell if the rich are mostly addictive to gambling or the poor ,the statistics has not been slide in ,so the question is only base in individual differences

You will never know one is a gamble addict until you see the consequences, and the consequences only show in to those that dont have enough money, why is this so? this is because the consequences of this addiction is more visible to the public, when you loose weight, or when you cannot pay your house rent, or when you cannot afford bills. But in a rich mans situation these consequences are hardly noticed because he will always to pay his bills and he will probably own a home of his, and of cause you dont expect a rich man to reduce in weight because of gambling, as long as he has a goo source of income gambling addiction will make only little effect to him. but in  the case of a poor individual gambling addiction consequences will be very visible, and will have more effect on him or her.

so basically we only say what we see, the once we dont see will not be talked about, so people only assume that (the topic) because of the consequences they see and not the actual truth, there are a lot of rich men and celebrities out there addicted to gambling but who knows? Yeah, the mindset is to continue bringing more money on the table and not to waste it, if sometimes we do see them playing most of them are just killing some time or for some it's a socially schedule to meet new partner for additional business, though same with what you said, there are rich gambler who's not exempt in getting addicted if their dedication to gambling got uncontrolled, they are also a person who have that limitation but that's a small percentage of those in the top level of society.

It is not a different case, obviously that's how it's in all the countries. Of course you already made it clear that they are not up to middle class probably third class so what will you have them do? obviously there are other ways in which one can survive the hardship whether middle class or third class I believe there are other reliable ways of getting money and gambling shouldn't be mentioned as one of the means in which they can use to survive because I have never seen someone surviving through gambling and I will doubt it if I'm told that there's such. So regardless of our financial situation we shouldn't think of using gamble as alternative as this can easily make us get addicted to gambling.
