Why aren't rich people easily addicted? My rational reasoning is that rich people typically have a different perspective on money than poor people. Money is very valuable to them. However, I also acknowledge that some rich people gamble, but the bottom line is that they don't overdo it.

They also know what to prioritize and what not to. For example, gambling isn't about making money, so they don't chase winnings or overreact. Unlike poor people, financial stress is also a contributing factor.

To add to that, the wealthy have many things to do in the real world; they don't gamble because of money, because they already have plenty of money. They gamble simply to have fun, and since they are very busy in the real world, they have little time left to spend in an online or physical casino.

A wealthy person won't skip a party at night to gamble every day on some website; a wealthy person won't skip traveling to gamble in a physical casino. Wealthy people like to spend money in many different places far from their homes; they are rarely home all day. Therefore, there are few cases of wealthy people addicted to gambling because they are busy in real life.

That is why gambling addiction is not seen among those who are very rich, they do not want to earn money from gambling and become rich. The reason why rich people don't get addicted to gambling easily may be because they have other ways of making their money, and they never see gambling as a way of making money the same way poor people view it. Poor people often feel they don't have any means of making money other than taking the risk of gambling.

The point is that instead of a rich person getting addicted because they want to make money, they would rather own a gambling company to make money. And the truth is that even those who get addicted to gambling with the aim of making money usually do so because they lack other opportunities. That's right, it all depends on the player's mindset and behavior. Now, if rich people think they can make money quickly by gambling without having to work hard, addiction and ruin are likely to follow. The most logical reason why rich people aren't easily addicted, in my opinion, is because they have a lot of money, so when they lose, they don't worry so much about their lives because they still have spare cash and perhaps other substantial assets. This is for the wealthy who have a wise mindset. If they aren't wise or disciplined, they will relapse into addiction and ruin awaits.

I think this is a big misconception, nobody uses gambling as a means of survival because only a few players can make money, and everyone else either breaks even or loses, according to statistics. And rich people don't need to worry about making money, and they don't like losing either, because regardless of your financial status, you're still a person who wants to win, and emotionally, we're all very similar. Not all rich people part with their money easily, and not all poor people value every penny.

I think even a rich person wont refuse to become even more rich. I dont think gambling addiction is selective and chooses to strike only poor. Weak minded are addiction main victims. We hear examples how poor become addicted, but little about rich being addicted, because in the world there isnt as much rich people as poor. Poor also have rights to have fun, rich also want to find and easy way to earn even more money. When you want to live as a part of society you have to adjust to some level of society. If you are rich, most of the time you will associate with rich people because you will not be able to adjust to the middle class or the lower class. I know many rich gamblers who used to go to casinos regularly to gamble and since they had multiple sources of income they could gamble as they wished. Most of them gamble to pass the time and for entertainment. People from the middle class and poor class have the attitude of earning money from gambling, so they get addicted to gambling. Moreover since their sources of income are limited, the budget allocated for gambling is exhausted in a very short time and they play more games to win.

Even the rich are addicted to gambling. If you were to associate with people from that class it would be seen that they are addicted to gambling more badly. As they have sources of income, they start getting into a lot of debt and finally they leave in a state of debt.

You're correct wealthy people don't easily get moved by thier winings because they have touched different amount of money which is why they don't usually get carried away by thier winings, and this also prevent them from getting addicted to gamble as they don't usually put much focus in the wining.

A wealthy man can loss his money to gamble and just go freely because they are sure of getting it back, as for the poor gamblers they don't easily accept defeat instead they would want to fight back reason been that they don't have any source of getting it back which is why the poor easily get addicted more than the Rich.

I'm not a rich person, but what I've noticed about rich people who gamble is that most of them are just really enjoying themselves, although there are some rich people who
become greedy when playing games of chance, but most of them are just really enjoying it.

The risk in gambling is high, we will lose more than we gain, it is okay to have fun, but never to excess, this is the most healthy and balanced approach to gambling, and to maintain this approach, it is very, very important to maintain self-control over yourself, and you also need to keep your mindset in the right place.
