Why don't the rich people get addicted easily?

Imagine me as a very busy person, always busy with my business work  and engaged all through the day what time do I have to get involved in gambling to even  get addicted to it. They are engaged always and hardly even have time for themselves and family.  They also gamble though but mostly for fun or leisure times only.  
I feel that is the best way for any individual to gamble. Because getting addicted to gamble is one thing that can even drag someone down  to least you never taught of. Gambling with your already acquired properties.

The rich gambles even more than the poor because of the amount of money they use in gambling, you may not have all the time because you are very busy but those other rich guys do not work all day they still have time to enjoy themselves and some of them do that at the casinos, you can not see them being addicted because they have money and they may not be in a place where everyone will be noticing them unlike the poor who has no special place where they gamble.

They have a lot of money and not to be problematic with anything at all so, I agree that they'd prolly do it for socializing and meeting new people.

But it can't be removed that they can also be like us that becomes addicted for sometime but after waking up into the reality, they go back to their senses and avoids becoming an impulsive gambler.

So if we see rich people that gambles with a lot of money, it's possible that it's just an excess of it. Well, we're talking about the real rich guys and might be close to elite level.

Yes we can say that rich people get addicted in there own way, not to the fact that, they may depend on the income they might be getting. Rich people get to gamble in most of there free time, and to me, there are some, that addicted because they want to have that more fun around gambling and that is how I may see it from them. While others may not be addicted the way you may think. But if we want to see someone that is really or chronically addicted, them we will learn to know that, they depend their lives in gambling and as it is something they do often, no matter how stressed they are.
So we can conclude by saying that, most of the times, rich people get to be addicted in gambling for their own personal reasons, not to the rich ones alone and also to the average person.

I think the answer lies in the fact that they’re already wealthy. Since they already have a lot of money, whatever they win from gambling won’t really change their financial situation and their life.
But for low income people, money gained from gambling can make it possible to afford things they dream of but can’t normally have... That’s why they tend to be more inclined to gamble and are more vulnerable to addiction.
