I will be very excited if truly that this season is for Arsenal, because it means that they can win at least two trophies and if they want to break record, treble will be the best. However, we cannot conclude on how the season will end for Arsenal because anything can happen before the end of the season. I hope the maintain this momentum.

At least this is a form of redemption for the fans, they wasted their time, effort and money to see their only to be humiliated by Bodø/Glimt, although the fans are angry that their team has been frustrating for some time now but they easily forget how their team has been frustrating other teams for long now with outrageous score lines, it was all rosy now it's time to get a taste of their own medicine they are angry about it. Manchester City aren't supposed to refund their fans the money they paid for tickets to watch them in Norway against Bodø/Glimt, but after Manchester City disgraced their fans by losing to Bodø/Glimt, Manchester City refunded their fans the money they used to buy tickets just to show how sorry and disappointed they are for letting them down in Norway, and I believe what Manchester City did for their fans by returning the money they used to buy tickets is a way of stepping up their game.

Usually it's not even normal for a team to start refunding fans ticket money they paid after watching the game. It's not that the match was cancelled or something for the team to refund the fans but I think this was done as a way of redemption, naturally if this was Manchester City loss in a while there wouldn't have even been a need to refund but since this 2026 began, out of all the matches they have played, only twice have they won which was against Exeter City in the FA cup and Newcastle in the EFL cup, the rest games has ended in disappointment, so I feel they felt guilt and wanted to look for a way to compensate their fans that travelled all the from England to Sweden only to vecnet by a disappointing result. I just feel that's why they have decided to refund.

Arsenal should be easily finishing league phase with 0 point loss as of now. Considering their remaining opponent is Kairat... I really liked their effort against Inter though. I was happy for Gyökeres about scoring a beautiful goal too.

Top 8 could still change seriously. So many teams on the same points close goal differences. I'm expecting Barcelona to go in there by beating Copenhagen nicely. Chelsea might not hold on as their last match is against Napoli away.

It seems to me that Liverpool have finally managed to break their winning drought, actually we might have all been annoyed by seeing this PL team draw in four consecutive matches, but they won 3-0 against Marseille in the Champions League match. At this stage, it can be said that one of the most experienced teams in the Premier League may have made a great comeback and they are trying to get back to winning ways. Indeed we all saw Liverpool dominated that Champions League match, as it was notable that the French club did not have any scoring opportunities and it can be said that the PL giants' players worked hard in that UCL game because their team player scored a goal in the 46th minute and the team continued to advance against Marseille in that UCL from then on.

I don't see anything wrong in Manchester City deciding to refund their fans the money they used in buying tickets for the match they played against Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League because they want to use it and make it up to their fans after conceding a shocking defeat against Bodø/Glimt. What Manchester City did for their fans is extraordinary and commendable.

They have to try to recover the situation and this is very important, but they have shown that they can do it easily, now they just have to hope that there is something they can do, the opportunities are still there and they must try to do it fully.

Well from the look of things presently, Manchester city finds it hard to score goals these days, and Galatasaray the same, so I wouldn't be surprised if the match has no goals, but as you say its is the safest way in a gambler's perspective, but at the same time it's a game that I have not much expectations for, any thing can happen so I will likely not bother to play it.
The game can just end 0-0 and I will not be surprised about that

I think that these are the games and teams that are important to follow and we all knew that it would be noteworthy, i think that in any case these are the most beautiful games, for the show they can offer they are certainly better than others with a practically predictable outcome.

The latest round of Champions League and Europa League matches was not at all exciting for Italian teams!

Inter lost to Arsenal, which was easy to predict.
Napoli drew against Copenhagen, which was a big surprise! Napoli had to win here.
Atalanta lost to Athletic Club, which is understandable! But objectively, I expected a draw.
Juventus is the only Italian team in the Champions League to have won, against Benfica.
Bologna drew against Celtic, which was a good result.
Roma won, which is what I expected!

But to sum up, it was not a good day for Italian teams.

How do you not win that? I'm serious, how? You're sitting there with an extra player, and you're in complete control of the game. McTominay's just scored his fourth goal in 5 matches and you're thinking "finally we're getting somewhere" and then... They just let it slip. Larsson scores off a penalty rebounding and suddenly everybody's scrambling.

The Atalanta thing though, that one that really hurt. They were cruising at half time totally in control, Scamacca had put them up and Athletic were looking lost. Then Valverde makes one change and all of the sudden it is like watching a different game. Navarro comes alive, two assists and a goal in like fifteen minutes and Atalanta's defense just evaporated.

Italian coaches take too long to react. Everyone else is moving during halftime, being proactive and we are still sitting on our hands until the 60th minute hoping things work out.

Juve figured it out though. Don't think too much, just be clinical. Maybe that's the lesson here.

Arsenal always have this regular routine of disappointing  at the final moment and it is something that they have been doing for a long time. they have a high chance of winning  but the problem is that they lack consistency. But so far this is the best performance they have ever put in so hopefully they would either win the uefa champions league title or the premier league title, either one of them.

I wouldn't really say that I am surprised to see Arsenal at the top of the champions league table at this stage. I think they are one of the best team in Europe right now, if not even the best. They have been very consistent in all competition and they also did well last season. They lost in the semi finals against PSG, the team that later won the competition.  I think they have shown some glimpses last season and they now have a better squad,  so I expect them to do better this season. I will not be surprised if they end up winning the competition,  because they have got the squad and I think they have had more experience now

What you say is true, because being strong in the current standings certainly doesn't guarantee a team will reach the final with ease. The competitive tension in the Champions League is always high, so no opponent should be considered weak, as every team can change tactics unexpectedly when playing in the Champions League. That's why I agree that Arsenal's current impressive form won't necessarily lead them straight to the Champions League final this season.

Let's not deny the fact that Arsenal is still outstanding this season, like they are the most formidable team across Europe as it stands be it Europe or English premier League their performance is unmatched like I really don't see any team that can compete with them because it the UEFA Champions League or the English premier League, but the problem here is how long are they gonna keep to this amazing form because we know them to be a dying minutes wonder performance like they always give up at the dying minutes of the season but I just hope it doesn't end that way this season.

They definitely have to recover from their trauma as quick as possible because the big occasion  in the UCL is just about to get starting and they can't go in the round of 16  playing  averagely. It would be a quick elimination for them which would be too bad for the  fans. The upcoming game will be against Galatasaray, and it's a home game which must be won to avoid  the knockout play off by those teams who didn't make it to the top 8.

This is the beginning of their downfall. Now, the Manchester City fans want Pep Guardiola to leave their club because of the inconsistency in the team.

In reality, the street holds no memories for him, given everything he has done for the club and its fans. Well, for me, I think Pep should leave by the end of this season, now he still has some pride to protect. If he tarnishes his image before leaving City, it will be bad for him as a manager.

Arsenal and Bayern are playing very well right now, but that definitely doesn't mean they will win the cup. Manchester City is one of the favorites as always. They won't fall short against these teams in the knockout stage. It will be a fierce battle. This league is independent of the situation in the local leagues, there are many teams that perform poorly in their own league but do well here or vice versa. Tottenham and Villarreal are examples of this. I see Manchester City as one of the top 8 favorites, even if they didn't finish in the top 8 in the group stage.

Manchester City have played four consecutive matches in the Premier League without a single win, and they recently lost to Bodo/Glimt a team not usually considered their level and you said they are not weak, honestly I doubt that because in my opinion this isn't about weakness anymore, they are just not in form probably due to player injuries. The idea of people saying they should sack Pep Guardiola doesn't feel right with me, he has done a lot for them to archived many glories so I'm sure Manchester City won't make that mistake to sack Pep Guardiola.

To all Arsenal fans they should enjoy the UCL hype because it is what Arsenal well and through hard work deserve, but when the UCL audience hypes you teams wants to beat you because of that.
