If we want to deep dive into Barcelona's defense, we have to write down a full textbook, I don't understand the defense anymore, we know Balde lives in the opposition defense like a second winger but atleast he used to make some unexpected dribbles that catches the opposition defenders off guard but he doesn't do that, then don't get me started on Kounde, present Kounde is a far cry off last season's, it seems like he is tired of playing for the team, no positional awareness off the ball, terrible 1v1's and bad dribble and skills spawn, Barcelona has alot to do.
Thinking there first transfer this market will be a CB and off they go with Cancelo with the same defensive issue
but only I have noticed that these sq2uadre fail to develop a good defense ? I am noticing that they are very strong in attack but they cannot concentrate very well on this, the defensive phase in my opinion is the most important thing as the attack, if it is missing the team is finished

The important thing is that Manchester City will not sack Guardiola. I believe that. Because all the achievements of Manchester City have been possible because of Guardiola. Guardiola has turned City from a mediocre club into the best club in Europe. Guardiola is trying his best to stabilize City. But he is not succeeding. If this continues, my guess is that Guardiola will resign. If he realizes that he cannot strengthen City, he will leave. Guardiola is not a stubborn manager. He is experienced and smart.
Firstly, you're overestimating Guardiola. When he arrived, City were already champions; when he leaves, City will still be in every title race simply because of the budget. If City are given the same advantage as they had in the period when they earned their 115 legal claims, they will continue to dominate with or without Guardiola. Secondly, you underestimate the sheikhs. If there are no results, they'll fire Guardiola, despite his past achievements. Football is a toy for them, I don't think they care much about personalities. Guardiola is one of the biggest influences on Manchester City's success. Perhaps not out of respect for football, but I think they'll keep him in the team to avoid potential backlash from the fans. Manchester City is a very good team and will continue to be so. Their financial power is unmatched by any other European team. Therefore, the owners will likely keep him in the team for a while longer.

They also secured a 3-0 victory against Inter in Italy in their most recent match. Against Kairat, they will likely deliver a comfortable, high-scoring game, and will go down in history as a team that has flawlessly navigated this Champions League knockout round, winning all eight matches. They may suffer some defeats in the Premier League, but they have been fantastic in the Champions League so far. Arsenal are really the best teams currently and they are proving it, vicenre against Inter in Italy at their home is really a lot of stuff, clear that this thing must be something that can continue, but i think it is their year and this cannot be stopped 7 matches without a gap of defeat is indeed a very promising team, no debate for now about Arsenal's performance in the UCL. Although I'm not an Arsenal fan but I can't deny that if Arsenal are able to continue to be as consistent as this their first UCL trophy can be obtained, now it's just back to the vision and mentality of the players whether they are strong enough to meet these expectations.

Yeah, but on a sharp contrast, it was a great week for the English teams, With the exception of a very unlucky Manchester city that was disgraced in Norway by Bodo/Glimt. Every other clubs won their matches, including Tottenham which was initially my greatest fear that would've spoiled my bet, unfortunately it was Manchester city to my ultimate disappointment. it was a very good outings and home victories for the English teams.
English teams always manage to do well and everyone knows this, of course there are teams and teams, Manchester City is disappointing a lot and this is a phase where you have to prove that you are the best, but this is largely respected by Arsenal

This is how it looks in the standings after MD7. Arsenal should be easily finishing league phase with 0 point loss as of now. Considering their remaining opponent is Kairat... I really liked their effort against Inter though. I was happy for Gyökeres about scoring a beautiful goal too. Top 8 could still change seriously. So many teams on the same points close goal differences. I'm expecting Barcelona to go in there by beating Copenhagen nicely. Chelsea might not hold on as their last match is against Napoli away.

Considering Napoli are also in 25th place, it will be a tough match for Chelsea because Napoli absolutely must win their last game to get into the top 24. Therefore, they will be very well-prepared for their final match. Only one game remains, and for many teams, this final game has a final-like atmosphere. We all know by now that Arsenal and Bayern Munich will finish first and second.

They're famous for losing in finals even when everything is going well. They have a big advantage in the Premier League, but they need luck on their side in the Champions League. Since it will be a knockout round in the later stages, they need a lot of luck. Gyökeres has been a bit subdued; if they can get the necessary contribution from him, they will be even better.

It's reasonable for Man City to have that idea because their fans have traveled far and wide just to support them and it turned out that they didn't play as well as expected, and that obviously disappointed their supporters. Therefore, they seem to want to make amends, and giving refunds is a good way to go. I don't know what's wrong with City, but clearly their last two performances haven't been good, and this can't be allowed to drag on because Arsenal might just pull away. Man City will face Wolves in the next match, and I think this could be a good opportunity to regain their confidence.
That's right, I've seen in some unofficial reports that Pep is in a depressed state after that last loss Even though he's one of the best players in the world, he's human He's very good, but sometimes these kinds of difficulties get the better of us. I hope Pep gets out of this situation quickly, football needs him.

It's natural for him to feel that way because he came with the goal of winning and he must have been confident of the result, but in the end it was all decided on the pitch where they had to taste this bitter defeat. It makes their position unsafe as well to be able to directly enter the round of 16. But however they must quickly forget this painful defeat, there is one more match in front of them that they must win. Their opponents are also not opponents that can be easily defeated. Galatasaray have the ability to give them another defeat, so they must be prepared with that and prepare again in order to get a good result.

Manchester City knows that their fans just wanted to watch them and cheer them up in Norway so that they could beat Bodø/Glimt so easily, but since Manchester City was humiliated by Bodø/Glimt, they know that they have let their fans down by allowing a low rank club to defeat them heavily in the Champions League, so they decided to make a refund for the money their fans spent on tickets to watch the match so that their fans will know how disappointed they are with the loss to Bodø/Glimt.
Considering they have all the money in the world, this type of gesture will not only don't hurt them on the finance part, but also shows that they care as well, definitely a nice move. Shouldn't really set a precedent, like not going to return the tickets anytime they lose, that would be financial disaster, they need to make sure this is just one time thing and don't repeat that. Yes, fans travel to other countries and yes it won't hurt City for once, but fans do it for every game, and if this too common, you make zero from any away game you have at UCL, that wouldn't make sense.

Both teams are fighting for qualification. Chelsea are seeking automatic qulaification so they would also be putting in all they can to win the game. Losing the game might but them in a playoff position. Chelsea is closely followed by teams that has thesame thirteen points, which include Barcelona, Sporting Lisbon, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, and Atalanta. Losing against Napoli will be a blow to the Blues. I am surprised that Napoli is struggling to make it to the UCL playoffs.

Seriously this is going to be one very big and tricky game for Both teams, for Napoli it’s a most win for them to actually get into the playoffs places while for a Chelsea it’s a must win to avoid the playoffs and qualify for the champions league round of 16 automatically. This games will also have great influence from other games on same day while a draw might actually be not too bad for Chelsea, it should still be avoided. If this game is actually played with Enzo Maresca as Chelsea’s head coach I would have actually been leaning towards a comfortable Chelsea win but I don’t have such confidence on them with Liam Rosenior in charge yet

So far if they could all get a point in their last match most might get through without play off and some might go into the playoff. It been a very competitive champions league season, as some club are not where you would have actually not where you would imagine. Arsenal particularly have impressed everyone, and again that performance against inter Milan was top notch, they honestly deserve where they are on the table, Chelsea also will have to give a massive performance when they travel to Naples next week if they want to the playoffs.

If they eventually win both the premier league and the Champions league this season I don't think there will be a better feeling for Arsenal fans. Winning 3 trophies will be the best of feelings for them. You're right we can't predict how the season will end and anything can happen but Arsenal fans will hope for the best, they pray they are able to maintain this momentum till the end. If they do I am sure they are winning something even if it's just a single trophy. With this form no trophy is impossible to win because some teams end up winning the champions league even when they are struggling so it's not impossible for Arsenal to win the champions league just that it won't be easy to win it because of the strength of teams there. Some Arsenal fans believe they have won it already because they didn't lose a single game in the group stage forgetting that the knock out stages is the most difficult stage of the competition.

Not all hope has already being lost in the fight for the next round of the champions league for Manchester City. Their very close point gaps and many teams divided on by goal difference really shows how intense the round 1 of the competition is and how the competition will even get more interesting in the coming round. Manchester City still has a very good chance to battle for that slot once again, and playing against a team that also needs the win very passionately, it makes the game going to look tougher than ever before they've even played in the competition. It is the last match for round one and a very decisive one for that matter.
Come on, obviously he can do it, i mean get to the Champions League. In my opinion, you are being excessively catastrophic. Ok, he's not playing as he should or as Pep Guardiola's teams should, but in the end he's in second place. I think you're exaggerating quite a bit.

I think it will be Pep Guardiola's last year if he doesn't manage to get the team going well He's been making promises for many years but hasn't been able to keep them, so i think both the team and the fans are tired of promises that aren't kept.
Making promises for many years and not delivering? What kind of nonsense are you talking about? He won Champions League with City 2 years ago + 6 Premier Leagues titles and God knows how many smaller trophies, and all that in the most competitive league in the world, and you are talking as if he didn't win anything.

Manchester city is not weak, they are still strong and still doing better. Is just that they are doing like previous seasons, they deform but doesn’t mean they are weak, they loose against Manchester United is what course all this discussion many saying pep Guardiola should be sacked, after all he have done for the team, as you said he is one of the key person who made Manchester city this big. so I believe Manchester city will continue to keep pep, till when the right time to leave comes. But right now a team that is still trying to be at the second place of premier league is not weak. To be honest their lost against United shouldn’t reason why we will say they are weak. I will be very excited if truly that this season is for Arsenal, because it means that they can win at least two trophies and if they want to break record, treble will be the best. However, we cannot conclude on how the season will end for Arsenal because anything can happen before the end of the season. I hope the maintain this momentum.
Arsenal is in their best form, and right now there is no club like Arsenal in the Premier league competition. although for Champions league competition, is different as it is now I can’t say anything about them, but they are also the best club in the champions league at the moment, as they are at the top of the table. We can’t say anything about the trophy anything can happen. But the premier league, they have higher chance of winning the title.

At least this is a form of redemption for the fans, they wasted their time, effort and money to see their only to be humiliated by Bodø/Glimt, although the fans are angry that their team has been frustrating for some time now but they easily forget how their team has been frustrating other teams for long now with outrageous score lines, it was all rosy now it's time to get a taste of their own medicine they are angry about it. What I know is that, every era comes to an end and this might just be it. Personally, I think Manchester City needs to restart. Pep has been the man for the team but these days, he seems like someone who doesn't know what his doing anymore. I might be wrong but this is my opinion. Manchester City refunding their fans the amount they paid to come and watch them in the game doesn't justify anything they should step up in their game and stop losing games like a team without good players. Manchester City aren't supposed to refund their fans the money they paid for tickets to watch them in Norway against Bodø/Glimt, but after Manchester City disgraced their fans by losing to Bodø/Glimt, Manchester City refunded their fans the money they used to buy tickets just to show how sorry and disappointed they are for letting them down in Norway, and I believe what Manchester City did for their fans by returning the money they used to buy tickets is a way of stepping up their game. Usually it's not even normal for a team to start refunding fans ticket money they paid after watching the game. It's not that the match was cancelled or something for the team to refund the fans but I think this was done as a way of redemption, naturally if this was Manchester City loss in a while there wouldn't have even been a need to refund but since this 2026 began, out of all the matches they have played, only twice have they won which was against Exeter City in the FA cup and Newcastle in the EFL cup, the rest games has ended in disappointment, so I feel they felt guilt and wanted to look for a way to compensate their fans that travelled all the from England to Sweden only to vecnet by a disappointing result. I just feel that's why they have decided to refund.

My only surprise is seeing Arsenal sitting at the top of the league table till this year, this is new honestly because we know the kind of mentality the Gunners have, too weak to chase titles but this time is completely different from the Arsenal we all know, 7/7 no draws, we should applaud Arteta for this development. Even in the epl games Arsenal are still on top and doing absolutely well, they should continue pushing who knows before the season comes to an end they might be champions or should I say they might lift either the champions league title or the epl title.
