It is obvious that the Spanish La Liga is losing it's glory gradually. Apart from Atletico Madrid, the big teams lost their matches  and Barcelona is also losing at half time against Club Brugge. Real Madrid lost to Liverpool that have suffered many losses in their league recently, it they could beat Real Madrid, then something is fundamentally wrong with Madrid. Their is the kind of results you get when you underestimate a team before the game simply because you think you have a better squad than the team, you shouldn't be so confident in your team because you sound so much like a Chelsea fan, this is a champions League game teams you see here didn't come to joke that's why you will keep seeing different surprises in the champions League. Chelsea was very lucky to equalize the game in the second half I expected them to lose like Villarreal so that when they face a weak opponent they will take their chances.

After the club World Cup, Chelsea haven’t been that same team that just wants to win and plays a kind of football that wouldn’t show strength as though, they want to win. This could have been an easy win for Chelsea, even though they were the visitors here, they could have easily taken the game to them but no, same lackluster performance we see in the premier league and sharing points with Qarabag which is just as good as a win for them.

I expected a win from Arsenal and also another clean sheet. This team really makes me happy even though I'm not a fan but I enjoy seeing them play and building their defence line to fit the standard of not conceding a goal. The communication they have on the pitch cannot be described in one word but I really hope they go far with this performance.

Liverpool on the other hand, really surprised me with their performance against Real Madrid and of a truth I never expected that win from them given their past matches and continuous losses for a while. I think Arne Slot might have found what was missing in the team this time and I'm happy to see them bounce back on their feet.

From what i read in general no one expected Liverpool to win, yet they took home the result, it is also true that Real Madrid is going through a period of decline, but this is not the point.
The point is that Liverpool are recovering and if they continue to play in this way we will see some good matches, it will not be easy to maintain this situation, but if they succeed in this aim it will be fun.

Club Brugga is really giving it to Barcelona in an incredible way. They have taken lead twice. First was on the 6th minutes by Tresoldi and the second goal was on the 17th minutes by Forbs. Barcelona was able to cancel the first goal two minutes after Tresoldi's goal. Barcelona ball has hit the bar twice, I expect an equalizer from them this first half.

Barcelona’s defense is looking so shaky tonight. Eric Garcia and Araujo don’t seem to have a good understanding between them, and it’s showing in how disorganized the back line looks.

Each time club Brugge moves forward, the defense looks confused and slow to react, almost like they are not sure who should take charge. There’s no real coordination or communication at the back, and it’s making things too easy for Club Brugge to find space and create chances.

Barcelona can’t keep defending like this because it’s only a matter of time before they concede again if something doesn’t change quickly. Flick needs to introduce Cubarsi

Club Brugge can't stand Barcelona in the second half i still believe that Barcelona will defect them. It's surprises me that Barcelona lost the game HT after several attempt to score but was denial by the goal post they had more percentage on ball possession and this shows they win the game from 2-1 loss if they can make good use of their chances of  scoring in the second half, why Club Brugge won HT was that they made use of their scoring opportunities in the HT.

If Liverpool fans are mad Arnold left for free, they should have given him a big money deal for him to renew his contract and remain in Liverpool, but they allowed Arnold slip through their fingers to join Real Madrid as a free agent. It is getting to 2 years since Arnold left Liverpool and yet Liverpool fans don't want to move on from Arnold. Since Liverpool signed Isak from Newcastle United, their fans should just put whatever thing they have with Arnold behind them, and look forward to what they can achieve in the future with Isak.

Although, sometimes it's not all about the money for some players and besides Liverpool has a structured wage plan that they can't give certain amounts of money to players. Another thing also is that when a player has made up his or her mind to leave, there's almost nothing that can be done to keep such a player. TAA didn't leave Liverpool 2 years, he left just this past June to join Real Madrid officially. TAA is still very much a new signing to Real Madrid.

One week result is not enough to conclude that the Spanish La Liga is losing their glory. This is just the group stage of the champions league and the group stage is not yet concluded. If by the end of the group stages and no Spanish team is able to make it out of the group stage I will agree with you. It is not compulsory that the Spanish teams will be winning their matches every match days.

The second half is ongoing and Barcelona is still struggling to get an equalizer. Club Brugga is still giving them a tough time. I bet on Barcelona to win, I hope that they ain't gonna cut my slip tonight. It's 56 minutes and the scoreline is still 2-1. I didn't expect such a sharp attack from the host. They are good in both defense and attack.

Just saw a team that lacks creativity and their defense is nothing to write home about. Honestly I wasn't expecting Enzo to joke with this game in any way, go out their with your best and knock out this Qarabag guys. The host did well, they played more than what I expected because of how low they was rated before the game. My problem is the back line of Chelsea, especially the CB Tosin and Hato, they shouldn't be starting for Chelsea at all, was even expecting Tosin to be the leader in that defense but he wasn't a true leader, now the problem is Enzo Maresca, he'll always use this same players to start crucial games like this, well...it was a good game for Qarabag to get a point against the World Champions.

The experiments carried out actually made the situation not too favorable for Chelsea in this match, which made the points they had to get easily because the difference in the quality of the team had to be lost just like that because the opportunity in front of their eyes could not be utilized properly.

Enzo's decision to make Joao a false 9 rather than a targetman in this match for me was a little strange and trying some players by rotating because he thought that this could be won from the start was a mistake for Chelsea.

Take a good look at how the midfield have been since Cole Palmer went on injury, his absence was felt and nobody have step up to cover that spot and make the team look lively, we saw it all in tonight's game, the midfield have been poor and even the guys that looks like coming up to take Palmer's place are all struggling with injury while some are sitting comfortably on the bench, let's see if this loss will teach Enzo Maresca a lesson.

Villarreal defeat was unexpected for most people I suppose. Real Madrid was a surprising one in the other hand because Liverpool was weak during many weeks. Barcelona right now is late with 1 goal against Brugge. Both teams scored a goal in the first 10 minutes of the game then Brugge added another after 17 minutes. Later nothing was done and Barcelona risk to lose points here. They are used to score late goals so we will see if they will be able to do that.
In all matches being played I find Manchester City and Newcastle United as the only teams who are giving expected results. There is still time for the others to do what they are supposed to do.

Chelsea’s performance was not that good in this match, it is not because they underrated their opponent but because they were unlucky in this game and should have to try their best in another coming match. This is the champions league and no team dare to underrates their opponent because it’ll only be at their own peril. Chelsea’s performance just needs to be more consistent because they can’t get close to winning the champions league with this kind of performance. I expect them to level up and be the best version of themself if they want to go farther in this competition.

I am not surprised by Napoli's performance. The team  is less interested in Champions League matches. Napoli are  well aware of their potential. It is very difficult for them to perform consistently well in both champions league and Serie A. This is why napoli are giving more effort in Serie A matches. Their  performance in champions league matches is poor. After a  6-2 defeat against PSV, the team  also failed to win against Frankfurt. The match was a goalless draw. Frankfurt's target was  to draw the match. We saw Frankfurt's defensive gameplay from the start of the match.

Actually, Napoli is a fairly strong team with a capable squad of players. In the forward line, they have Hojlund and Romelu Lukaku who can be played interchangeably as the sole target man. Both are equally capable and productive in scoring goals. And not being able to win against Frankfurt isn't really a surprise because Frankfurt is also a strong team. This Bundesliga team certainly can't be easily defeated, and in the Champions League, Napoli and Frankfurt are very close. Frankfurt has four points in 20th place, while Napoli has the same four points in 21st place, only differing by goal difference.

However, Napoli found it very difficult to win against Frankfurt even though Napoli had great players Hojlund and Romelu Lukaku could not penetrate Frankfurt's goal.
Their defense was very strong. This team also had players in a strong defensive line. While the number of points between the two was not far apart, just one win could change the ranking and Napoli played inconsistently in the Champions League so they got a draw with Frankfurt.

Funny enough, Chelsea tried to manage the game on a draw, but to me, that was still a disappointing performance. Seriously, what a big disappointment from Chelsea in today's match against Qarabag FK. If they tell me that Chelsea will not win that match tonight, I will not believe it, but due to their inconsistency, they cannot handle common Qarabag FK. I don't really know what is happening to the Spanish teams this week, just look at Villareal losing to Pafos with a very huge odd and currently Athletico Bilbao is losing to Newcastle and Barcelona is losing against Club Brugge and who knows if they will win them in full-time because am not seeing any good efforts by Barcelona players to equalize the score. Maybe the England teams might shine more than the Spanish teams this season because apart from Chelsea that played draw against Qarabag, the rest won their respective matches, and it is giving them hopes of either direct qualification or taking path in the play off round.

Although Liverpool's performance is not as expected, they are sharing the same point in the table as Liverpool and Real Madrid's performance in the Champions League competition.

However, the Champions League will be very competitive this season because the big clubs are now fully ready for this competition this season.

So Barca concceded 2 goals in just 17 minutes and still struggling to get a goal even at 58 mins… ohh wait Lamine just made it 2-2  wile typing. But still, this isn’t looking good, they are struggling to get goals against a team which was beaten by Bayern 4 to Zero (even keeping a cleansheet).. Just wondering how they are planning to win UCL with this kind of stats.
