If Liverpool fans are mad Arnold left for free, they should have given him a big money deal for him to renew his contract and remain in Liverpool, but they allowed Arnold slip through their fingers to join Real Madrid as a free agent. It is getting to 2 years since Arnold left Liverpool and yet Liverpool fans don't want to move on from Arnold. Since Liverpool signed Isak from Newcastle United, their fans should just put whatever thing they have with Arnold behind them, and look forward to what they can achieve in the future with Isak.

Although, sometimes it's not all about the money for some players and besides Liverpool has a structured wage plan that they can't give certain amounts of money to players. Another thing also is that when a player has made up his or her mind to leave, there's almost nothing that can be done to keep such a player. TAA didn't leave Liverpool 2 years, he left just this past June to join Real Madrid officially. TAA is still very much a new signing to Real Madrid.

It's true that sometimes player motivation goes beyond financial gain. Liverpool's wage structure might limit their ability to match certain offers. Once a player decides to leave, it can be challenging to retain them, as seen in TAA's case. He's indeed a new signing for Real Madrid, and it'll be interesting to see how he performs in his new role.

I agree that Real Madrid will not win this year Uefa champions league but they can actually come close to winning it the could get knocked out in the quarter finals or semi finals.
Bayern Munich is closest for me to winning it, then Arsenal, this is more like many people's prediction about who will win the UEFA champions league but Barcelona can surprise us all.

I would agree with you that Real Madrid isn’t likely to win the champions league this season and that’s because, the team they’ve got now isn’t really fashioned for the title, nope I don’t see them having what it takes to go beyond teams like Bayern or even PSG. I don’t see why we shouldn’t consider them and even Barcelona too. These guys very much come to consideration before Arsenal. Arsenal keeps having a good run as it is but, they constantly have difficulty managing fatigue and that would set in at the end of the season. Good enough for the premier league maybe but, not the champions league.

Real Madrid defeat against Liverpool was the most surprising in the fourth round, and consequently, that loss has affected many people expectations of them as title contenders. Bayern Munich and Arsenal are now the most favored teams, but overall, given that there are still four matches remaining in the League Phase, anything can happen. A team that is currently experiencing a dip in performance in the League Phase could still reach the final and emerge as champion at the end of the season.

Inter Milan and Manchester City should also be considered as favorite teams, in my opinion, as both are currently showing impressive form. PSG needs to work harder to be able to repeat last season success, and I think this season no one can underestimate Arsenal strength. On the other hand, Barcelona is currently trailing 3-2 against Club Brugge, they must fight to turn things around in the remaining time.

In the first half, Inter Milan struggled to break through FC Kairat Almaty, even though their quality was clearly very different. I was increasingly doubtful about whether Inter Milan would be able to score many goals or not.
Similarly, with SL Benfica vs. Buyern Leverkusen, both held on until the first half was over. Hopefully, one of them can score.

The score between Inter Milan and Kairat is currently 1-1. The match has entered the 65th minute, with Inter Milan attempting to pressure Kairat with attack after attack. Inter Milan dominated the match, creating some decent chances, but many of them failed to convert.

I don't think Dortmund can score three goals in this match, as Manchester City played quite well. Osimhen is a truly excellent player, putting Galatasaray ahead 0-2. It was embarrassing for Ajax, playing at home and not being able to score.

Club Brugga is really giving it to Barcelona in an incredible way. They have taken lead twice. First was on the 6th minutes by Tresoldi and the second goal was on the 17th minutes by Forbs. Barcelona was able to cancel the first goal two minutes after Tresoldi's goal. Barcelona ball has hit the bar twice, I expect an equalizer from them this first half.

Barcelona’s defense is looking so shaky tonight. Eric Garcia and Araujo don’t seem to have a good understanding between them, and it’s showing in how disorganized the back line looks.

Each time club Brugge moves forward, the defense looks confused and slow to react, almost like they are not sure who should take charge. There’s no real coordination or communication at the back, and it’s making things too easy for Club Brugge to find space and create chances.

Barcelona can’t keep defending like this because it’s only a matter of time before they concede again if something doesn’t change quickly. Flick needs to introduce Cubarsi

They are good in both defense and attack.

I'm surprised that Club Brugge is leading Barcelona because I never imagined that they would be a tough opponent for Barcelona. I also bet on Barcelona to win as well, but I don't think Barcelona will beat Club Brugge tonight because it seems Club Brugge are well prepared for Barcelona. I expected a win from Arsenal and also another clean sheet. This team really makes me happy even though I'm not a fan but I enjoy seeing them play and building their defence line to fit the standard of not conceding a goal. The communication they have on the pitch cannot be described in one word but I really hope they go far with this performance.

Liverpool on the other hand, really surprised me with their performance against Real Madrid and of a truth I never expected that win from them given their past matches and continuous losses for a while. I think Arne Slot might have found what was missing in the team this time and I'm happy to see them bounce back on their feet.

From what i read in general no one expected Liverpool to win, yet they took home the result, it is also true that Real Madrid is going through a period of decline, but this is not the point.
The point is that Liverpool are recovering and if they continue to play in this way we will see some good matches, it will not be easy to maintain this situation, but if they succeed in this aim it will be fun.

Well it's seems Liverpool are on a totally different form when it comes to the champions league or perhaps slot have rectified the sluggishness of the team because Liverpool on a good day is actually the best team in terms of squad in the English premier League but yet they find it hard to even score and play the ball but in the champions league its a whole different story. Let's hope they progress with this form and do better more because they overplayed Real Madrid in that fixture and I think it was the goalkeeper of Real Madrid they saved them from losing with a huge amount.

In other matches, Barcelona were quite surprising when in the first half of the match they fell behind Club Brugge with a score of 2-1.

It's still an interesting match where the score is still chasing each other which makes me not expect the current situation.
Since the beginning I have never doubted a club that plays in the Champions League but it is very natural to make Barcelona the favorite in today's match, it's just that Club Brugge's performance is completely beyond my expectations.

They know when facing a big club like Barcelona defending is one of the things they have to do but the counter-attacking momentum they created was quite on point even with them rarely even having control of the ball and managing to create 6 on target and 3 goals in this match is extraordinary.

At the moment the score is 3-2 and it looks like Barcelona won't be slowing down their attack until the end because after all their target is points, it's just that moments like this can change when they miss again because their defense is not focused on anticipating Club Brugge's fast counterattacks.

There were only about 10 minutes left in the match, and the score was still tied at 2-2. Chelsea looks very eager to get a win in this match, therefore, they continuously put pressure on Qarabag, but what they did seemed to still reach a dead end because Qarabag defended quite well, and their bus parking strategy seemed quite effective in suppressing Chelsea's attacks.

Few minutes to go and Chelsea keep the pressure on. Chelsea are doing everything within their reach to ensure they reap their winning. How on mother's green earth they're drawing this game? Who the hell is Qarabag? I can't believe my eyes because Qarabag are no match for the EPL side considering Chelsea to be the club world champion. I wouldn't blame Chelsea if they draw this game because it's been one hell of a game for them especially on a foreign ground. Enzo Maresca should learn to start players not bringing on B team to face UCL side.

2:2 it ended in the game between Qarabag and Chelsea. Their is the kind of results you get when you underestimate a team before the game simply because you think you have a better squad than the team, you shouldn't be so confident in your team because you sound so much like a Chelsea fan, this is a champions League game teams you see here didn't come to joke that's why you will keep seeing different surprises in the champions League. Chelsea was very lucky to equalize the game in the second half I expected them to lose like Villarreal so that when they face a weak opponent they will take their chances.

I really fear if Chelsea can made it through this group stage, like I don't understand why they can't win this match if they are really eager to make it pass the group stage, playing draw with teams like Quarabag is really out of it, I was actually expecting them to win this game with no stress should in case they are up against the tougher teams, but they couldn't win this game how can they face the top teams, I don't really think they can, they should just come back home and focus on the English premier League if they can get a top 4 spot there.

A weak defense was the reason why Barcelona conceded 3 goals in 63 minutes, but Hansi Flick has not tried to fix it. So far, Hansi Flick has only tried to increase the effectiveness of the attacking line by bringing in Lewandowski and Dani Olmo, but I don't think that's enough considering Brugge's defense is very solid. Yamal and the others certainly kept trying, but it still felt like it wasn't good enough when Barcelona's defense was too easily broken down by Brugge's counter-attacks.

Luckily, Barcelona managed to equalize at 3-3, with Yamal again contributing to Christos Tzolis' own goal. Yamal played a crucial role in this match and still managed to maintain balance, but I'm very concerned about their very fragile defense.

Barcelona began to perform optimally, this victory greatly influenced the mentality of the players from the defeat of the previous two matches.
Yamal's excellent individual activity made Barcelona's result a draw, I don't think that Barcelona can beat Club Brugge easily because this team always appears in the Champions League and beats many other big teams, a victory that was not easy for Barcelona thanks to Yamal's hard work.

Barca has equalized, but i’m so disappointed with their play and their overall attitude toward football. I expected an easy match against Brugge, but it turned out that Brugge is a very serious club. I know that Champions League matches are always different, but a club like Barcelona cannot afford to struggle in games like this if they want to advance further.

When it's a big game like this I think it's quite natural and not too surprising when the score on the scoreboard is what it is.
Bayern's 2 goals may not have been what most people expected because PSG's expectations were too high but in the end this was a big match and anything can happen.
Both clubs are champions in their respective leagues (albeit the farmer's league ) but in the end things like this don't make either club look weak because their strengths are still comparable for now.

Now the problem occurs for PSG because if they are still in the same condition of not being too prepared for Bayern's counter-attacking speed then they could lose points even though Bayern are playing with 10 players.
This is a good momentum to take advantage of because surely Bayern for the second half will be more focused in their defensive area so it depends on whether Enrique can maximize their advantage to change the final score or not in the second half later.

Perhaps, PSG didn't see this coming, I expected PSG to understand what was coming because Bayern has really changed in terms of performance, except the PSG side didn't care much about the statistics of their opponents which is one thing every serious team will always look out for before any encounter, but right now it seems as if the defending champions of European elite football competition have been reduced to nothing by Bayern Munich who couldn't even make it past the round of sixteen last season, it's amazing how football can be sometimes.

As predicted earlier that in the second half Bayern became quite passive because they only defended their advantage especially when they realized that they lost 1 player who could be used as a weak point so that 45 minutes of the second half PSG looked much more dominant.

It's just that Bayern's discipline made the final result unchanged and PSG was unable to make a difference when they played at home and a 1-man advantage. Indeed, they managed to keep hope when Joao Neves reduced the score but it seems that it was not able to make Bayern's mentality falter in this match and made Bayern manage to secure 3 points again in week 4 of the Champions League.

Today there are still some pretty interesting matches and one of the things I see for today's match is where Barcelona is still very difficult to get 3 points from Club Brugge

Funny enough, Chelsea tried to manage the game on a draw, but to me, that was still a disappointing performance. This is not what we all expect from them; we expect Chelsea to win against Qarabag easily in this game, but it is what we ended up seeing. That is why, most times, when it comes to smaller teams, I don’t usually have much hope in Chelsea. Although games usually happen this way, Chelsea did what they could. Since they didn’t lose the game, the disappointment won’t be too much.

Seriously, what a big disappointment from Chelsea in today's match against Qarabag FK. If they tell me that Chelsea will not win that match tonight, I will not believe it, but due to their inconsistency, they cannot handle common Qarabag FK. Although Chelsea tried since they didn't lose the match, for me, I cannot see it as a try since that is not what Chelsea fans expected from them. They all hoped that they would win Qarabag without many challenges, but at the end of the day, they ended up disappointing the fans. Chelsea needs to improve more and keep their consistency if they don't want to be left behind in the Champions League.

Again, it’s 3-2  lead from club Brugge  .. not looking like a good night for Barca.

It's now 3-3 unless my app is lying to me. To be fair to them, I think Club Brugge performs quite well in the UCL. I think they blew so many teams before the team anyway. So yeah, it isn't like you can field 7 players and still win 3-0 against them to begin with. I agree that Barca needs to do better, but at the end of the day consistency and winning in key matches are key, like what happened to PSG last season.

Good performance as he has scored score three goals this night to put his Galatasary team ahead of Ajax. Dominating performance, three goals away from home is a statement from Galatasary that they are really ready this season when it comes to the champions League. Nice one from Oshimen despite playing in Turkey a league that is not fancied by many people he has proven that he is still one of the best players in the world.

Chelsea were only able to get a point from a game we ought to have win at least expected to.

I felt sceptical about the game but although because it was Qarabag I thought we would still be able to get a win even if we don't dominate but they did well and our trashy defense was seen again.

Ball possession of 39 to 61%, common! If only Real Madrid could play offensive match and defend properly. Liverpool was privilege to use good force to make that goal happen, Real Madrid could have done better job but another factor is Anfield, nobody play games like a team that is at home, there was no magic Real Madrid would have done there than want they have did already, sometimes you win some and sometimes you lose some.

If you think it's only Real Madrid, look at what Barcelona are played with Club brugge, this team nearly took their life, they were suffering the entire time, any goal scored were quickly equalize till the final minute. You never can tell who is who in Champions League, that's the joy in it but as we progress here, some of this teams you see raising muscles and all might not see quarter final, it's only big and recognized teams that will remain in the tournament.

I don’t know what’s wrong with Chelsea, is it that they underestimated Qarabag, or I don’t even understand what happened in todays match, Chelsea are bigger then the club, and everyone expected a win from Chelsea, it’s surprising how Chelsea ended up playing draw in the match. Seriously Chelsea needs to do better if they really want to make it out of the group stage.

Chelsea are not suppose to draw against clubs like this, they are suppose to make use of matches like this to accumulate points not to lose points. I don’t even know what’s wrong, but all I can say is that Chelsea needs a better defenders, they need to work on their defense, they conceding goals easily, and if they continue like this, it’s really going to affect them, because even teams which are not suppose to win them will end up winning them.
