Maybe Arsenal should work on their mentality better, is see it as more of a mentality issue because they usually have a fair season until it is time to get that performance to get them a trophy, I see that for this season, their chances lays mostly with the premier league and not the champions league even as they have a fair performance so far in the champions league. Bayern Munich is been doing well but I doubt they have the experience to really win the champions league title.

It  was also a mix between mentality, squad depth and how they focus on the games they play. Officials have also done them dirty but we are not allowed to talk about it. With the squad depth now available, it's got to do with the mentality off and on the pitch. They might be favourites right now but when it gets to the semi finals, they always fold. Didn't Benfica play magnificently in the Champions League last year? They haven't lost many players this year, but they're playing a completely different game this year and have suffered numerous defeats. When I saw the game between Ajax and Benfica, it was funny because who was going to win, since in their last five games they did not win a single one, and if not that, they qualified to participate in the champios league because it is not adding anything to them and they keep losing, other clubs are using them to gain more scores, there was a time ajax was improving but now they have gotten worst and am still wondering who is going to win, ajax is even better and what surprises me the most is that they don't have a single point.

Due to the circumstances surrounding Arsenal's performances in the past couple of seasons in the premiership, a lot of people are now of the thought that the team always start up well but often finish poorly after dominating most part of the season, but if you come to this issue randomly, you would have noticed that most of the factors that were responsible for the teams poor performance during the second half of the season where they usually struggle has been adequately attended to by Mikel Arteta and I don't see such a situation reoccurring this season, there are several backup players in the squad which wasn't so and which was also one of the reasons the team struggled in previous seasons as a result of good players on the bench to call on whenever there is a case of injury or suspension, but right now I think the team is focused and in a more better position than ever.

You may be right but I don't totally agree it is the fear of Manchester city behind that makes them draw against Sunderland, it was a great match for Arsenal and at first when I saw Sunderland winning first half I thought they would even win arsenal but Arsenal still came back in the second half and was even leading but Sunderland was so lucky to have an equalizer in the added time. Arsenal has been winning since so that was somehow expected just that the team that hold them draw was not the team I expected to... Arsenal has never been afraid of any team, including Manchester City. And that's not just true in the Champions League; Arsenal haven't been afraid of them in domestic competitions either. Manchester City are currently below Arsenal, and Arsenal haven't felt the pressure because this season, Arsenal's abilities are still slightly better than Manchester City's at the start of the season. It is also very difficult and exhausting to compete for the first place in the Premier League and also play at the highest level for the top places in the Champions League at the same time. They cannot focus on one competition because both are very important.

Bayern have it much easier with their lead and weak competition in the Bundesliga. They can concentrate more on the Champions League.
