I admire Xabi Alonso experience and skills and he may surprise more than one in his first year.

When it comes to Real Madrid in the UCL, there's something different. We're certainly optimistic that they'll win the trophy, even though this is Xabi Alanso's first season with Real Madrid. Nothing is impossible for Real Madrid, as this club possesses an extraordinary mentality in the UCL. Zidane also won the UCL trophy with Real Madrid in his first season, so this will be even more motivation for Xabi Alanso this season.

Furthermore Real Madrid is currently on a positive trend in both La Liga and the UCL. Although they lost their last match to Liverpool, that's a common occurrence in the group stage. This loss is good for Xabi Alanso as it allows them to evaluate the team and improve going forward.

I believe that the bookies know what they're doing. Maybe, as the match day draws near, the odds will change. However, you shouldn't use the bookies odd to determine who you will bet on because nobody is perfect and bookies have flaws. I still strongly believe that Bayern will win the match.

Yeah it's still early and in the preliminary round to qualify for the next phase but Arsenal are pretty good as they've played brilliantly without conceding for 4 games.

After the quarterfinals - semifinals - finals is the real round and we don't know which team will qualify for the next one.
Some people are favoring their own team but I'm not sure if Arsenal will make it to the final.

It's true, there's a significant difference in quality between the Zidane era and now, Real Madrid quality at that time was perfect, there was the BBC trio as a proven attacking trident for Real Madrid, then in the midfield there was the Modric, Casemiro, and Cross trio, so there was no difficulty for Zidane when he first managed the team and immediately won the UCL title even up to 3 times in a row. I don't understand why they would transfer a manager who, with a team of roughly equal strength, clearly plays worse against you and gets eliminated. In any case, it was the wrong decision for Benfica to bring in Mourinho, they could have brought in a better manager instead.

In my opinion, Mourinho's time is over, he hasn't been able to achieve real success at any club in the recent years.

These are odds given by the bookmakers I don't personally believes in these odds because to me this odds are not a true reflection of what is on ground. That Arsenal is leading the likes of Bayern munich, Madrid, PSG etc as favorite going into the champions League. The bookmarks are falling into Arsenal usual trick of performing to impress. There are allot of teams that are better than Arsenal I don't believe that Arsenal is the best team going into the champions League.
