If technicality is to be considered, I will agree to an extent that kompany may not be sound enough especially as it regards the champions league but if it is with the Bundesliga, then he cannot be underestimated because he is doing very well with the Bundesliga which is a show of the fact that he is doing great for the team.

There is no logical reason to underestimate Kompany in the Bundesliga. They are already at a stage in the Bundesliga where the title is almost certain. After only 17 rounds of games, they are 11 points ahead of Borussia Dortmund. It may not be possible for any team to overcome this gap and win the title. But in the Champions League, we can doubt Kompany and Bayern Munich. Because there is a huge difference in quality between the Bundesliga and the Champions League, which is why the Champions League is a bit of a tough competition for Bayern Munich.

I would also love to pick Bayern Munich but I honestly feel Kompany is not tactically intelligent enough to pull through the intense knockout stages of the UCL what might help him is the individual brilliance in his team but if we were to rely on Kompany's tactics, he won't make it. I can't honestly put my money currently on any team now even Arsenal, there is something sus' about them.

Real Madrid for me is out because I don't know whether this there new manager will be capable of fighting with coaches with experience and intelligence.

Nobody thought that Chelsea could beat Manchester City in 2021 because Chelsea had to go through a lot of turmoil during that season, but they won it. Manchester City led the EPL and won the trophy and yet they weren't able to beat Chelsea, which was far worse in the EPL. All these aforementioned things are no reliable indicators. Real Madrid isn't out. Bayern Munich isn't out because of Kompany.

I agree with you that the game would've attracted a different momentum if it was elimination-bound. Arsenal who are yet to lose a game in the competition this season are already like many have suggested will be more concerned with league games since they're trying to get increase their chances of winning the league but that I don't think will make them see this fixture as a less important game. At the end, I'm expecting strong and quality performance from both teams.

If the UCL also wins this season, many great teams will have to change their minds about Arsenal, even the fans.

As for the championship, the probability of them getting it is already so high, meanwhile the champions league still has some uncertainties that lays ahead. Gradually, Arsenal is beginning to attract some more attention and big teams are now becoming detailed with the strategy they are going  to be using on Arsenal in other to probably not let them be their hindrance in the champions league contention this season.

Arsenal is dominating the Premier League competition from the start of the season, the champions league is also dominated by Arsenal. we all know this is two different leagues and both is really a tough league.

At first I was expecting, Arsenal to only focus on the premier league, since they have higher chance of winning the premier league than the champions league.

but right now they’re doing the same thing in the champions league. If Arseal will be able to lift this trophy at same season it’s going to be a big achievement for the team, because after waiting for a long time they achieve both the two competitions they are have been waiting. The season still many matches to be played, let’s see what the outcome will be.

Honestly, the Champions League is too important a competition to be played just for the sake of it, without the desire to win it if the opportunity arises. 
Also, if you asked football players what they would rather win, a national league or become European club champions, I am sure that almost all players would choose to become European champions. 
Arsenal has been English champions many times, but they have never been European club champions, and I am sure they will not miss the chance to become champions of Europe and will fight until the end. 
A different question is whether Arsenal has enough quality players, and their substitutes, to withstand this tough race running concurrently in two demanding and exhausting competitions until the end.

Even though your sentiment here is quite funny but nobody cast a spell on them if they fail to win this year English premier league title because it's more of their mentality than voodoo.

Why I believes that it's more of their mentality is that they have been too used to not winning for a very long time, so they don't know how to win games at the defining moment of the season, even when they are not at their best, that's why I will blame the manager more, because he is responsible for the mentality that the players carries, since his job is to create a winning mentality among his players.

Arsenal are getting better, and for them to lose anytime soon will be a bit hard, because not only in the Premier League but in any league they are playing currently, they are performing well. Even that game against Chelsea yesterday, you will see that Chelsea tried their best, but still it seems like they were not ready on the pitch. There is no need to rush to conclusions at the group stage. Remember how it was last season when Liverpool were in fantastic form, they were winning all their games in the Premier League and were the undisputed leaders in Champions League group, but then they were knocked out literally in the first playoff matches, so a team can have peaks and downturns. Without doubt Arsenal are in excellent form right now, but what will happen in a few weeks or in a few months is impossible to predict. Anything can happen a few injuries, a decline in players form. So I am definitely not ready to say that Arsenal will become champions.

Arsenal has put in hard work just to win the Premier League title since Mikel Arteta became Arsenal head coach, and they have come close to winning the title so many times, but we always see Arsenal losing form at the end of the seasons, which has stopped them from winning the Premier League title. Since Manchester City and Liverpool aren't really at their best this season, I think if Arsenal can overcome their ways of losing form or dropping points at the end of the season, they will surely become the Premier League champions.

Arsenal and Bayern Munich, the two most consistent teams, deserve to be there indeed...
I think the bookie might still consider Liverpool record against strong teams, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Inter they have beaten in the early phase, so maybe for this reason the bookie still put them on the list. What I'm thinking about right now is Madrid chances, with the sacking of Xabi, I think their chances will go down, as I'm personally quite worried about Arbeloa who is currently his replacement.

Liverpool have a reputation as a cup team, but they still look like the black sheep on this list at the moment. Everyone except them in the race (in the national championship), no one except them has experienced 5 defeats in a row.
It seems to me that Real's chances will not fall, since they were not initially influenced from the coach side (I may be wrong), I think Real is now assessed by the "coolness" of the squad. They need any coach who simply won't stop this team from winning titles. But it's unclear whether this team is capable of such chemistry or whether their strength will remain on paper.

I also concur that the premier league is very rigorous, yet I do not believe that Arsenal will take the champions league lightly. Arteta understands that the successful teams in Europe are also characterized by the success in the Champions League, and the Arsenal performance in the season reveals the true maturity and constancy. Arsenal can afford the drop-in experience with challenging league games ahead and remain competitive on both fronts due to the squad depth. It will not be easy to play at the home of Inter, not because Arsenal will just sit back and watch. What opportunity do you expect them to get in this season even though you think their are opportunity that can utilized but not with them. When you see a club that is determined to win the trophy, you will know from the way they are playing.
Nothing good will come out of Liverpool this season even though they change their manager 3 times in one season.

In the position and situation he finds himself in, in my humble opinion, the only good thing he will manage to get out of this season is not to lose more points, he will surely not get anything but at least he can keep his dignity, can slow down and affect other teams, but you don't have much to do.

Arsenal are not doing well only in the Premier League. They are doing very well in all competition they are participating. First in the EPL, first in the UCL, they are facing Chelsea today at the EFL cup semi-final, they have also qualified or the fourth or maybe the fifth round in the FA Cup tournament. What else do you want before you will  acknowledge their efforts this season?  All I wish for them is to win at least one important trophy by the end of the season. It will serve as a boost for them in this competition.

There is no doubt that Arsenal has done wonderful so far everywhere they played, and in theory they could even have a treble without a doubt. One thing that people are pointing out however, is the fact that we are seeing some changes here, and that is the issue. Because we are moving on with the season and players are either tired, or may get tired very soon. Arsenal have a 6 point crack with their nearest rivals and this is not a safe place for a team to win the trophy yet. There are still many matches left in the league. Man City have prepared all their might to win the trophy and their form is improving. Arsenal are in a very advantageous position in both tournaments but it is still not a sure thing that they will win the trophy.

Although it is unexpected, the good performance of a team does not always continue and I am afraid that if one of Arsenal key players gets injured or is in poor form it could affect the next matches. Arsenal are one of the favourites to win the trophy this season unless some unexpected situation arises.

Real with 11 odds in this actual scenario seems like so much for them, right now i expect a much higher odds for them after the Xabi Alonso departure and the last game losing against a super weak team from lower division, seems like the team needs a very big reshufle and if they cant sign a great coach for this last months of the season they are gonna be cooked under Arbeloa management.
