Barcelona is currently leading the match with two goals and the score is 2-4. They were able to score two additional goal by Dani Olmo and Lewandowski. Lewandowski has finally paid for the own goal which he scored unknowingly to him. Barcelona took total advantage of the second half and dominated the match and seal up their victory by Lewandowski goal.

I knew that Barcelona won't lose back to back matches in a row, the players are fully aware that it was going to be a big blow to them if the match had ended in that 2-2 draw, finishing within the top 8 will have been lost but with this win now, they have 13 points and within one step just below the top 8. They will be hoping to win their last match and it's even going to be at their home stadium, so the chances of them finishing in the top 8 is higher now compared to if they had drawn the match. When I saw that Lewandowski own goal, I was thinking and saying to myself, this man will likely want to make up for this error by scoring at the other end to balance it and when I saw that his scored for his team to make it 4, I just smiled to myself.

It seemed like they should have beaten an opponent like this quite easily, yet as the match goes on, nothing comes that easily, even though Royale Union lost to strong teams in the Champions League without any real chances. That's their biggest problem, their defense is absolutely nothing to write home about. Villarreal may have lost yesterday to Ajax ending any hope they had to make a comeback in the Uefa champions league but same night Real madrid finished Monaco in from of their home team that has been demanding more from them
Barcelona won today, athletic bilbao defeated a very in form Atalanta and Atletico madrid drew to Galatasaray and I think they deserved to win.
This improvement from The la Liga teams is a good sign for them .

it almost seems like thr dynamics are changing now, psg ended up losing and Manchester City as well today might not be any different, Juventus might not be able to defeat Benfica and the reason for that is because they are currently not in a good form. Even though odds might not really be in favour of Benfica to win the match we might actually be surprised by the outcome, it is not always about the odds

After the round up of all the matches I have come to accept that Arsenal are my favorite to win the league, Arsenal are playing in a different mindset, they want to win all the time and anytime they don’t win their frustrations are visible in all competitions.
They faced the hardest opponents amongst other favorite teams but they won in dominating fashion against inter Milan.

They won the match so they'll only destroy your ticket if your bet on that match was for them to win with over 2.5 goals or 2.5 goals in general, I don’t really understand why you think their performance was poor because maybe the place you placed on them was a different thing from the outcome of the match.

The big thing about the win against the Italian side is that they did it in their home even as the away team still went to dominate the game good. With the performance in the Champions League and how they have defeated the toughest teams, it will make other teams very weary of them if they have them as opponents and they would want to as much as possible avoid Arsenal knowing that there are very strong team in this competition and a contender for the title. With how well Arsenal play, they can defeat any team.

i think galatasaray achieved a reasonable result by taking one point from atlético madrid. that's what the team needed anyway, because it has no top-eight ambitions, and one point is enough to finish in the top 24.

the next match is away against manchester city, and if manchester city wants to make the top 8, they have to win that match. galatasaray, on the other hand, doesn't need to push itself for a specific ranking. we'll be playing in the playoffs regardless. that's why i think that match will go to manchester city.

It's a similar story with City. After the derby loss, they should be highly motivated, and Bodo/Glimt are clearly a level below. Even with their current issues, City should win this game comfortably. For me, the most logical option in both matches is the -1.5 handicap on the favourites.

These matches are very strange, i must say that this is not the situation i expected especially from many teams, but i also would never have expected that Manchester City would have met such an end which certainly does not deserve given the team's prestige.

Absolutely no one expected such result, what a disappointment for the team unfortunately this period seems a little difficult for city to perform effectively. Arsenal are the favourite to finish this group stage first without a defeat and of course their name are among the favourite names to win UEFA Champions League title. Until now they proved they are strong teams apart from some points losses done in Premier League lately.
Inter Milan isn't that strong this season comparing to the previous years, neither Real Madrid and Barcelona, yet who knows. PSG is weak too.
Personally I think Bayern Munich this season is strong enough to play finals.

There were no much surprises in tonight matches, the games went well as predicted. The only surprising result tonight was that of Atalanta losing at home to Athletic Bilbao. Given how high Atlanta ranked in the table before this match. I considered them to win Bilbao without stress but somehow football will always be football. That match you felt will be an easy win will be the one to fuck up. Initially I had thought that it was going to be Liverpool and Barcelona that would win at away tonight but Bilbao joined them, and spoilt my prediction.

Barcelona still looks weak in defense and this has not completely improved even though Hansi Flick has tried to rotate some players. Barcelona have conceded so many goals in the Champions League that they have conceded 1.85 goals per game in their last 7 matches. This is a weakness that can be exploited by any team when playing against them, even Slavia Prague was able to score 2 goals in this match.

Even though Barcelona ultimately managed to win this match, I am not satisfied with the team's defensive performance so far. A weak defense is a problem that must be resolved immediately because if a team concedes many goals in one match, no matter how good the attack line is, its mentality and spirit will be affected. Today's victory wasn't easy, but I will praise Lewandowski's mentality because he managed to make up for the own goal by scoring the winning goal.

Slavia Praha has not scored since their opening match now they have two goals against Barcelona.

It's almost the same way Club brugge scored three goals against Barcelona infact that match ended in a draw and Barcelona were even supposed to lose that match but they came out with a draw. It's so embarrassing that they are so open in the champions league, small teams are even threatening them unlike their league were they easily win matches and teams don't score them more than two goals, hardly will you see them concede three times in the league.

From the very beginning of the champions League Arsenal has been outstanding in their performance they are in a good winning run which they maintained against Inter Milan yesterday in their champions League game, they have a very good squad which can help them to win the champions League but they have to be careful I nthe next round because they will encounter good teams which can stop them if they make any wrong move, if they can replicate the same performance they used against Inter Milan in their up coming games they are sure of making it to the finals.

Individually, Barcelona don't have elite defenders, but the system they play makes the defenders that have look worse. Even with the best defenders in the world, Barcelona will still be conceding a lot of goals. They may not concede as much as they do now, but they will still concede a lot. They play a system where, the moment the opponent has the ball, they are exposed. One pass can split the whole defence open, so I don't blame the defenders too much.

The system has helped them become so successful since Flick took over, so it's obviously working, but it has its disadvantages. If they can find a way to attack as they do now, but also protect their defence and learn how to defend set pieces, they will concede fewer goals. A team that concedes goals for fun this much might have a hard time winning the UCL, unless they willoutscore every opponent they meet and that is not guaranteed.

Benfica wasn't matched for Juventus considering their dwindling form in the UCL I didn't expect them to go to Italy and win an away game against Juve... Against Real Madrid it's going to be end of panda for Benfica because they don't actually stand any lucky chance for a draw since Real Madrid actually needs the 3 points in that next game to stay in the top level.

Meanwhile, Sporting can have a great Champions League campaign and is in a good position to qualify among the top 8

Possibly for Sporting but they have to win with much goals against their next opponent to have a spot in the top 8. On the table, there are 8 teams with same 13 points as Sporting with just goals difference placing one above the other. Therefore, it's really going to be a tough one for which team among them all will make it to the top 8 by the next fixtures results.

Bayern Munich got a two goals to one nil but many definitely would be disappointed of the outcome including me. I thought this game might give as much goals as we saw between Real Madrid Vs AS Monaco last night.

Anyway, this is not the only game that the score seem disappointing to me, Chelsea won a goal to nil against Pafos, who is not well known and I was expecting us to get more goals but nothing happened although at least we can say they both won and that will be comforting for the fans.
