PSG is a team that is truly phenomenal in attack, but Arsenal have gotten this far playing against the best clubs, the match against Atletico Madrid was boring but they showed everyone that by playing well and without overdoing it they managed to qualify for the final act, so it will be a 50/50.

I don’t think the final can be 50/50 between Paris Saints German and Arsenal. PSG have the quality attackers to score goals, and Arsenal have a stronger defense to prevent them from scoring a lot of goals. But we should remember that Arsenal cannot use their defense to win the Champions League, the attackers at the same time also need to create chances to score goals.

It's not like Arsenal cannot win the Champions League but what's their current form compared to PSG form. In football, you use the form of the teams to predict which of them is capable of winning ths game. Arsenal started the season in a super form but currently, they have dropped form while, PSG is in their best form. Arsenal needs a miracle in order for them to win the finals.

They even need something bigger than miracle to win the Champions League. This PSG football is very dangerous, im still wondering how Luis Enrique builds this squad as threat to every opponent they faced since last season. Arsenal totally lose their form, this is not how they played at the start of the season, but they dropped form due to some injuries.

As per the latest update Dembele faces muscle strain in his right calf. As far as i know it needs several weeks to recover. However, PSG medical staff is still intensively helping him by treament him in the next days. So we may find how serious his injury in the coming days. Hopefully, he's fine and he can fully perform against Arsenal. The good part is PSG have very good depth at his position. If he misses final against Arsenal, i think PSG is still fine.

The truth is, even if Paris Saint Germain has a good replacement for Dembele I don't think the replacement will be as valuable as Dembele because the dude has a way of creating something great in the finals. The finals last season shows it and it will be a loss for Paris saint Germain to miss someone like Dembele. I wish him quick reovery as I would love Arsenal full squad and Paris Saint Germain full squad to  be available that day so there won't be too much sentimental talks.

Arsenal will not be playing all out defensive, that's what am a bit certain because PSG is not that too superior to arsenal, so it would be very pathetic by Mikel arteta to play defensive all through or park the bus hoping to play on the counter attack when they have all the firepower needed to hurt this PSG team if they go toe too toe with this PSG team.
It's going to be an interesting game of football between these teams, but from the start, both teams are going to be cautious because any side that concede first might regret it, since they are both solid defensively.

I don't think it's a good idea to back the bus against a team like PSG, because they have a lot of good attacker, so if you do that, you are already shooting yourself in the leg, because they will keep mounting pressure on you, which I believe will later result to goals, so I don't expect Arteta to go into the final with that kind of mindset. PSG might be very good when it comes to attacking, but I thunk Arsenal also has a decent attacking players and they are also very good defensively, so I expect them to be cautious,  but I don't think they will back the bus, because I really believe they are capable of winning the final.

Quite alright Paris Saint-Germain has some lapses in thier game structures expecially the defensive players, Paris Saint-Germain defender truly need to work on themselves more before this final against Arsenal. I notice how they perform poorly on thier last clash against Bayern Munich, they looks uncoordinated and the Bayern Munich were uses the appotunities to penetrating them more, although I was impressed with some of the unexpected safes and the pressures they applied on them.

Arsenal on the other are good in defensive game, no doubts about that but the Paris Saint-Germain could easily find way to penetrate them easily, both teams are strong enough and they are readily to beat each other in this champions league final. However no one can accurately predict who will win this match or lifting the trophy, but we can only predict base of thier peast abs the current performance to judge if they could be able to beat each other. But the match is not going to be funny because both Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are good.

No two persons are exactly the same, its either one is better or the other is lesser, with the replacement of Dembele, the person can either be better or be lesser but will not be exactly like him and that is why it is a replacement but if PSG  have their way they will not want to loose such an asset, he is such an important player that the team have some little dependency on him. we are very hopeful he recovers before the finals and be part of them as they hopefully defend the title this season.

I can build a bridge on Luis Enrique's football IQ and depth calculations. He's a master at what he does and no one can outshine him. I'm trying to imagine the scenario of this happening once again ---PSG moving the UCL to Paris again, back to back, after the first coach did it clean in Madrid, Zizou. I hope Dembélé gets back on his feet to participate, so he can lift the trophy maybe, with a proud face (I'll love to see funny memes of him afterwards lol), but if Arsenal wins this trophy, the drama and noise will overwhelm the Internet.

I believe Arsenal will lift the Champions League title this season, Arsenal has never lifted the champions league title before and so they will play very well so they can lift it, they will put in their best, I just have this believe that they will lift the title.

You consider Arsenal as the favourites. You are probably an Arsenal fan. Arsenal are also a strong team. But even though Arsenal won the knockout round matches, we did not see a good performance from them. Even then, I know there is no way to underestimate Arsenal. Both teams that qualified for the final are very strong.

PSG are strong as a team. They are not dependent on any specific player. That is why they are able to perform well consistently. Luis Enrique has been able to form a great squad. So I do not think PSG will face much problem even if Dembele is not in the squad. PSG is strong without Dembele

PSG are strong as a team.

-snip
Arsenal may not look that good in attack, but their defense has been solid. On the other hand, PSG have a very aggressive attacking line, even though they concede more goals than Arsenal. So I think it’s pretty balanced since both teams have their own strengths. In the end, it all depends on how they use those advantages to fight for the title.

We all know PSG are very strong offensively without depending on just one player. But still, without Dembele, they don’t look as sharp. He’s one of their best finishers and always brings something important to the team.

We all know PSG are very strong offensively without depending on just one player. But still, without Dembele, they don’t look as sharp. He’s one of their best finishers and always brings something important to the team.
I still feel that whichever club can control and stop the attacks on the flanks then they will have a slightly greater chance of winning.

Even though PSG is still the favorite in this final, their pattern never changes because the focus is on attacking lines that rely on speed on both sides because their players have above average speed. Kvaratskhelia, Barcola and Dembele are certainly a trio with good speed and this will be balanced with Arasenal who always do the same.

The difference here is that Arsenal have a balance because they are not too dependent on speed alone but their play makers are quite active especially when there is Odegaard in midfield.
If they can reduce the opponent's speed then the chance to win is still very possible for this match.

unless there’s an early red card or injury, there is no clear favorite here. in reality, this match isn't just a PSG vs. Arsenal final. it’s a tactical warfare between Luis Enrique and Mikel Arteta. winner of the match will be determined by whoever imposes their tactics on the opponent, leaving the other side unable to find an answer.

The absence of Dembele will be a big blow to PSG. He is the current world's best player, which is a clear indication that his club needs him. The report is that the Ballon d’Or winner suffered a calf strain and is under close monitoring. I am sure that the club will do everything possible to make him fit, even if it requires giving the French player strong painkillers. Despite Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue, PSG would need Dembele to have a complete attacking force.

Bradlet Barcola, who is a key transfer target of Arsenal, might be a good replacement for Dembele in the finals. Barcola might not be as effective as Dembele, but he could also be dangerous in the attack.

Everyone says PSG is highly favored to win the UCL trophy because they have fast and powerful attackers. But they forget that Arsenal can still cause a surprise in the final because of their solid defense and balanced play in every position. This is evident in Arsenal record of conceding few goals and their unbeaten run in the UCL this season.

Furthermore, the final is easier to win than the semifinals because it's only a single match. Last season Arsenal lost to PSG but that doesn't mean PSG can do the same, especially since PSG beat Arsenal in the semifinals. The atmosphere is different now playing in a final with only one chance without a second chance (leg one and leg two). So, both teams have an equal chance of winning the trophy and what makes this sure to be a tough final for PSG is that Arsenal defense has been quite solid so far and they are ready to face any team.

There are still 12 more days to go for the grand final... It's going to be PSG or Arsenal winning the trophy in Budapest. Just for a change I wouldn't say no to seeing Arsenal making it.

However my logic says the winner will be the other way around. As there are still many days to go I wonder if there will be any crucial player getting injured on the upcoming days. In training for PSG maybe or in the remaining PL matches for Arsenal.

Agreed on that. Even though I'm expecting PSG to win a back-to-back title this year I still don't think they will just smash Arsenal.  Tongue  It isn't like they are facing Inter again. Arsenal are much stronger in defense...

I don't see any alternatives to Dembele, especially for the Champions League final. Even if Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Doué are in the team, they won't be enough to beat the powerful Arsenal. Even Bradley Barcola, although a good forward, I don't consider him a worthy replacement for Ousmane Dembélé. Still, PSG have to go out and try to win the match, and the news of their main forward's injury before such an important match is like a big blow. Dembele's absence has somewhat reduced PSG's chances of winning the title.

“I think it’s just fatigue,” Enrique stated in his post-match press conference. “What we’re saying today is just speculation, but I don’t think it’s anything serious, and there are still two weeks left.”

We can expect to get info about the real condition today after he gets checked by the team's doctor and medical staff.

It seems to me that the injury is not that serious because if it was that serious, there would be a lot of writing about it on social media. Yes, it may take a few weeks for Dembele to fully recover from the injury he suffered, but since there is an important match against Arsenal, Luis Enrique will definitely try to play one of the best strikers in the team against Arsenal because having Ousmane Dembele in the attacking line-up means he can play at full strength and the PSG management may not want to miss that opportunity. If everything goes well and if the team does not have significant injury problems, I still think PSG can beat Arsenal.

Yes, his absence will have some impact. However, Paris Saint-Germain has many players who can fill his place. I remember he suffered an injury at the beginning of the season as well. He's a very good player when he plays, but his susceptibility to injury is causing problems for Paris Saint-Germain. Arsenal would want something like this, and if Dembele isn't going to play, I'm sure Arsenal will be happy about it.

There are two weeks to go until the mega match between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

Meanwhile, at home Arsenal have a 2-point advantage and must continue to win

the matches
- Tonight (18 May): Arsenal vs Burnley (at Emirates Stadium)
- 24 May: Crystal Palace vs Arsenal (at Selhurst Park)

but Manchester City have a game in hand, so it's still all up in the air, in short Arsenal have to win

Hoping to get such information on social media maybe wrong because psg may want to give out details about the seriousness of the injury. Therefore there are possibilities that Dembele may not be in the line in the champions League final if the muscles strain is serious. However, Arsenal winning the champions League final maybe difficult because PSG is an experience club and Arsenal is not doing great in attack and this will really pose as a challenge to them.

Huge blow for PSG. Barcola is great, but replacin the current Ballon d’Or winner in a UCL final is almost impossible. Praying for a quik recovery!!
