The advice that I will give is the proven one that all responsible and experienced gamblers have received from their colleague, mentor and predecessor and that is to only play wqith money that you can afford to lose, its old and have been used and said a thousand times but its still works and will always work.
Make it your mantra and make it a habit to follow this advice, and you will be safe, and you will also hand this advice to new gamblers who will seek your advice.

Out of losses from gambling, don't be annoyed that you forgot to have self-control over your emotions when you get home. Don't result in drinking or beating your wife or children out of frustration over gambling losses. Treat everyone close to you with love and respect. They are not the cause of your gambling losses. A gambler is advised not to exceed more than 2%-3% of their income because of that. Betting with more than that can change a gambler's mood from good to bad.

It's simple mate, the most vital lesson to give to new gamblers is they should learn how to control their emotions and risk what they can afford to lose. Gamble is game of entertainment which everyone need supposed to enjoy when ambling but we are in a country whereby everybody need money and so majority of people in the society are looking for where to make quick money, that is why gamblers are gambling to earn profit from gamble. Although I haven't gotten much advise to give another gambler except this.

Besides the ever-popular only play money that you can afford to lose, I will advise new gamblers never to think or plan to make gambling a way to make a living, because it's a trap, and you will suffer its very rare for a gambler to attain the level that he made it as a occupation,

Don't treat gambling as another source of income. Don't rely on it to change your fate or get out of poverty. I'm not an veteran gambler, but based on my experience, I would advise against trying to find pleasure in gambling beyond a set limit. Always use small amounts, or just a few percent, of your income. Most importantly, never consider gambling a way to make money. Remember that gambling is just entertainment, so don't expect anything big. And if you're losing stop for a while and come back when you're feeling good.

This quote has become a continuous assessment here in this forum and this particular topic has been posted randomly in different categories but passing same messages.but regardless a word they say is enough for the wiseand one necessary advise I'll definitely give to any beginner gamblers is that, they shouldn't gamble just to earn something out of it cause it's what birth greed that goes a long way in leading to addiction.

One big lesson I have learnt as a gambler is never to think of getting rich through gambling because gambling to become rich is the fastest way to slide into reckless gambling. Such mindset destroys every rule made by the gambler and make him fix his eyes on the morning with a blatant negligence of discipline and caution. Gambling can give money but when we gamble to escape poverty, we may lose more than we had planned because humans can naturally do anything to get rich.

If I can give some advice to newbies then what I would say is make gambling just for fun, not to make money or solve your financial problems, if you are really serious about making money from gambling then try other ways as an affiliate or casino owner if have sufficient funds, because both are better ways to make money in gambling than as a player.

Chose sports and choose which matches to bet on. Although all those matches can likely end in a way that you won't expect, there is a high chance that you can win when you know the team is much better than the other. But like they said, bet the money you can afford to lose.

The most important of all, be a fan of the sport after all you won't be betting and watching the sport if you don't like it. I learned this from someone who have been in sports betting as well.

I've learned some things while gambling. To not gamble money I can't afford to lose is the first one them. Secondly, I learned to not underestimate casinos and to never believe I can defeat them somehow, because when I initiated my gambling journey, I believed it was just a matter of finding the right strategy and trick to make safe and solid profit from gambling. People always say, just don't be greedy, and I took that seriosuly.

My advice to upcoming gamblers are:
1, don't take gambling as a source of income, because gambling is not a job.
2, don't follow online predictions for majority of them are fake, predict you games by yourself.
3, if you gamble and win heavily leave the gambling hall immediately to avoid loosing the money you won.
4, don't allow other gamblers influence your decision making, make your decisions and stick to them.
5, when ever you stake a bet and the games are running as predicted and you see a reasonable cash out uncle cash out don't be too greedy.

My greatest lesson from gambling is that, you shouldn't not gamble with an amount of money that you can't afford to loses and be OK with, and gambling shouldn't be taken as a means of making money, because having such mindset towards gambling can make you to over spend on gambling thinking that you will win a jackpot and then recover all.

Gambling is highly addictive and this is something that you do avoid as much as you could because once you do get shackled with addiction then its hard to get out.
Majority of gamblers usually end up on being impulsive and addicted just because they do lose soo much money. The main thing on which people do usually end up is that they do get impulsive
at the time that they do play gambling. For those who are just that not matured or those young people then they are that easily be that getting hooked up with gambling because it is really that interesting

What I learned:

I learned how to manage my bankroll, something that I consider very important because it allows me to play without going bankrupt. I learned to accept when I lose because that is part of the game and I do not chase losses. I learned that I should always personally analyze any game I intend to bet on. I learned that I should not depend on Telegram channels that provide signals. I learned that there are many scammers who consider themselves professional bettors and do not show proof that they actually make money from sports betting. I learned to see gambling as just entertainment.

Advice I give:

1 - Never forget that gambling is a form of entertainment. The most important thing is that the person has fun. The moment the person is not having fun, they should stop playing.

2 - Always play with money that they can afford to lose.

3 - Manage your bankroll.

4 - Analyze the games yourself.

5 - Have many ways to have fun, not just gambling.

I think that there are lots of advises that has been shared on different platforms and also here on the forum about the do's and don'ts of gambling but no matter what is been discussed beginners still tend to do whatever they want. My contribution to this isn't an advice but more of a reminder, always gamble with what you can afford to lose. Everyone's capacity is different, if you choose to gamble like others you might be in trouble

So many advices have gone out while some are effective,some are literally backsliding to some gamblers.Every gamblers intellectual development and capacity to gamble is oftentimes irrational but that notwithstanding, follow the right procedures at all times and don't ever overthink your choices to stand out as a responsible gambler.

What I can tell my younger ones about gambling is that
1) they shouldn't take gambling as a business or a source of livelihood.
2) they should gamble with what they can afford to lose.
3) they should avoid taken unnecessary risk.
4) they should avoid aggressive gambling or chasing loses to avoid gambling above expectations
5) they should set limits of gambling.
6) they should fund only the amount they can use to Gamble and not funding above what they want, otherwise they will gamble all at lost.
7) they should avoid prediction sites on telegram who claim to have a sure game to sell.
8 ) they should not allow emotion to take hold of them.

As a beginner the enthusiasm you have is always very high especially when you are getting lucky, we have all been there...one thing I would keep saying is that gambling can never be a source of income, if you fix your mind on becoming financially stable from gambling this would end up wrecking you financially... For me, if I’m given the opportunity to advice any youngster about gambling it would be that they shouldn’t lose focus - no matter how lucky their gambling may look they should never try and switch from them having fun (if that was their initial intention) to money making scheme.

A lot of gambler have lost their ways just by thinking that they would be able to hit it big if only they can just increase their stakes and at the end of the day it led to them ruining their financial life.   

Keep gambling as simple as you can possibly afford to keep it, don’t ever try to do what you know you won’t be able to afford to lose.
