Let's allow such players to be eaten by the blinds in the future. It's fair and standard practice in all tournaments.

Well, basically, we should drop this rule. Even though it's an unwritten rule.
The choice is ultimately yours.

So you want me to lower the ante but increase the blinds? (I guess with the same intervals). I see some merit in this suggestion, lets see. I have to give it enough thought. Consider these two scenarios though,

1.) One guy showed up in a timely manner and played and got busted in 11th place (10 places paid).
2.) This guy forgot to show up and just remained sitout for the whole time, but managed to win the 10th place prize.

Taking advantage of the allowed time bank is a skill, and no one is against that. You are allowed to tank and sit out during ICM pressure but there has to be a difference between getting a prize for nothing (not even showing up) and playing within the allowed time bank.
Not to mention it only slows down the game drastically as everyone will wait for the sitout player to get eaten up by blinds and ante (which you don’t want to increase).     

I think he meant the sitouts should be eaten up by the blinds, not increasing the blind in general. My opinion about the whole sitout situation is to kick only people that don't show up in the first lets's say 10 minutes (unless they informed meme beforehand that they are running late). If somebody is sitting out but has actively played from the start, no issue with that, it's up to them to maintain their stack. But people not playing at all from the beginning should be dealt with after a certain time limit.

I think I only sent about three messages in the chat. I was just focused on the game and trying not to let my emotions influence my decisions, as I really needed to win that round. But luck still wasn't on my side. Another river card knocked me out. I honestly thought I had that hand won.

Last round last chance for me. I'll stick to the same approach and hope for first place in the final round. If not, I guess I won't qualify for the grand finale.


Regarding future tournaments, I hope the start time can be moved to 1 PM UTC instead of 3 PM. We finished Round 9 at 2 AM local time, which is pretty late for us.

After all, that’s no different from someone who slept through the tournament.

As you can see, the whole idea is completely pointless, which is why it’s never implemented anywhere. You can just keep folding all the time.

By the way, I think in the next Casinopunks everyone will be stalling like crazy. That’s the issue with these kinds of tournaments — when there are few participants, the prizes are equal, and you just need to make it to the money.

I dont kick out anyone who is using/exploiting the time bank to its fullest.
As I have said earlier also none of this matters as we have enough players and appropriate blind and antes to tackle this. I was only explaining the genesis of the rule since you asked for it,

The genesis of this rule is embedded in the very first tournaments that took place here. Some players just used to sitout and cashout prizes without playing. Now, we have enough players and a fast enough blind structure to tackle that. I never kickout any player just based on disconnection if he has played at least one hand.

It was a straight FLOP! but the opponent was waiting for a flash draw.



I ended at rank 20th on that game. now i need to push hard on Friday and for me to get to the Finals is to have atleast 2nd place for the BPPL round 10.

I can see you are currently at number 15th in the overall leaderboard with $65. IMO, you need to secure atleast 2nd place (1st place will lock your chances) in order to have some chances.
Considering the fact that you were at the absolute bottom in the leaderboard after round 7 with 0$, this is a great performance. Good luck for the final round.

Lucky I have made the cut, even though I sat out plenty of rounds. Congratulations to all the other 7 members that made the top and will compete for the final crown next week.
Too bad MV didn't make it, he is one of the few people that actually know what he's doing. Now you know how I feel often enough, the way you got sucked out several times if a direct copy of what is happening to me in these tournaments all the time.

The only good thing about MV not being in is the fact that every player I will face is on a lower level compared to him, no offense, but it's true and you know it  . So this makes it "easier" to get in the money, if variance is on my side.

I'm not as great as you think, I just played carelessly yesterday, isn't this the result of the grand final for week 11?
Anyway, I still got the prize even though I was in 8th place. Sometimes I get really bored in the game when it gets to the middle round. Adding a faster time for the blinds seems like a good idea so it doesn't take too long. See you in the next poker contest.

I can still remember the last Grand Finale of BetPanda tournament, Every head you knock-out in the finals you will get etra 50USD and your head cost also 50dollars.
It was @ekslay who slayed everyone and lucky that night, that was a fast round that night, Every ALL-IN xLAYS did favored him.

Nice one. I like the fact that you changed the format into a slower paced game with 20min blinds and a bigger starting stack. When I first checked it was still the 9min blinds and 20k starting but I think a final table deserves a little bit slower pace. Sure it will take a bit longer that way but since we are only 8 people there will be some situations where the money will go in for at least 2 guys ( some setup or whatever like set over set ).

For the next league or something it would be cool if maybe the final would pay all players that qualified. That would be a nice guaranteed extra.
Like for example at 1000$ for 8 people with a payout of :

1st: 350 2nd: 250 3rd: 150 4th: 90 5th: 65 6th: 45 7th: 30 8th: 20

Just my personal opinion cause I think it's a bit sad the get into the final and maybe leave empty handed.

It is not easy to be in top 8 after 10 difficult rounds so little bit rest of mind in the form of slow blinds and bigger starting stack would be good. It will also allow players to show their skills  more.

No body is empty handed lol, all players have already received at least $135 from the league rounds.



If you are talking about a symbolic gesture than I would agree with you and I will surely acknowledge that in future events (if any).

BTW, I'm curious to see a replay the grand final tournament. Did you record the match as usual?

Unfortunately my account has been striked by Youtube and limited on other platform. I don't know the exact reasons (strict gambling content policies) but it resulted in two strikes (almost 50+ videos are in the channel). Because of this I lost the zeal to record 3-4 hours videos but rest assured I will find a way soon.
