It's possible. I have a good knowledge of cricket so I don't seek any other sports to bet on but If I didn't know any sports to bet on then I would have to learn about some sports, and in doing so it's possible that I would become fan of it.

Yeah, people can actually end up liking a sport because they want to bet on it and if they end up truly liking the sport, not just because they bet on it, I doubt it'll fizzle out.

I think they can. It's not like every sport is difficult to learn, so they will have a lot of time to research about it, including history, records, and players, and then they can bet afterwards to test if they have done it right.

I believe anyone can learn about sports, even if their main purpose from the start is to bet on it. Actually, it may help a gambler to put more effort into analyzing every detail of each game because he is still motivated to win each bet he will make.

Of course, nobody came from birth with the knowledge in them, rather it was gained here on earth. Someone that wants to start gambling on sportbet should know more about the sport by watching it. I believe that in general, the passion for sports betting cannot go hand in hand with the interest in sports matches.

Because if someone watches sports matches out of interest and loves the game, then he won't be too worried, but only if it's not some kind of world finals.

Whether it is unconscious effort or intentional effort, I think it is possible and they go hand in hand. It will be difficult to gamble in what you don't have an average knowledge about. People don't gamble because they don't have idea of what they are gambling on but because they believe they know something about it. So I think the best way to gamble in sports is to follow the happening in it and from there you become a lover of it but if you don't like it you won't understand what is happening there. I believe most gamblers are a fan of one particular club side or the other and likewise casino game players have some games that they like to play. I don't believe gamblers gamble in vacuum.

There are many people who have become sports fans because of gambling, and there are many people who have become gamblers because of what sports are. In my case, it is a little different. I like sports and I love watching sports. I used to like sports and watch sports. I did not have much experience in gambling before. I gained experience in gambling from this sport online. I understand sports a little better and play sports, which makes gambling much easier for me and I have won more than I have lost. If I did not have sports experience and good analysis about sports, I would not have been successful in gambling and I would also be very afraid of gambling because participating without good analysis and prediction becomes very risky.

In betting, so many people became bettors because of how they could make money through betting and not because they were a sports fan. You can become a bettor without liking sports but  to become a better and a good bettor, you need to become a sport fan or sport lover because that's what will make you win more than just someone that is trying luck without any statistic of how the game is conducted or played. Well I think that might actually be possible. Alot of people on becoming a gambler or starting their sport betting life might think it would be easier even if you have little idea about sport betting. But the probably after considerable amount of losses, they figure out that they will need to have at least basic knowledge. So they pick a favourite club and begin to watch their highlights then gradually they watch life matches and study those teams history and get familiar with them. So yea it's possible... So long they want to make a few bucks from gambling then they would have to give in the efforts...

Skill, research and knowledge are very important in every subject, you have to do deep research on any subject, there is uncertainty in every subject, but if you make decisions through skill and research, the chances of positive results increase a lot. I personally liked sports before I knew about betting but maybe the difference is when I started betting I almost explored all the leagues unlike before which was only focused on one league and I was more required to deepen my knowledge of each team besides unlike before now I don't miss any news about sports but maybe on the other hand there are also people who become sports fans because they want to bet.

It does not make sense, in my opinion. The love for the game/sport comes first before the gambling comes. Those who will learn the sport because they want to gamble might see bad things happening in the future. But it's not impossible. There are those who are really good at analyzing the game so I bet there will be gamblers who will still make money out of sports betting.

The love for the game should indeed come first, but I honestly tell you that there is no difference between the person who becomes a fan of sports as a result of their interest in gambling and those who have naturally loved sports before the became gamblers, all that matters is their level of passion and commitments in what they do..

I find no fault with that, if someone who's used to be a gambler tried to jump onto a sport and becomes a fan of it. We all started from nothing and there are sports fan that have turned to gamblers as well. So, the vice versa is there and interest is being caught by everyone depends on how we're enjoying it. And this is the personal trip of everyone who are into that situation. So, it is not a major concern of other people if they see someone tries to get into gambling and sports, vice versa.

I know a colleague of mine that's not really into sports but into gambling but ended up liking not the sport but the team of that sport. He was just a normal person and he tried placing bet in Dota 2 as he heard always from his other colleague a team name and when he was browsing live matches or I think upcoming match he told me that he was trying to bet on that certain team because his colleague always talks about it and luckily they won that tournament and he gets a little profit from it.

After that, he tries to follow the team placing bet in them (though not always winning) that was the time he tries to play the Dota 2 and ended up liking it. It's not a sports but an Esport but I think it's still counted in the topic.

I think that the natural way is the opposite: you become a gambler because you like the sports you end up betting on. The opposite is still possible, but it seems less natural to me, like they want to make a business out of it instead of simply having a good time.

They can still end up liking the sports they bet on: in the end, we all have something at stake when we watch our favourite teams compete, whether it is money like the case mentioned or equally intense emotions of of belonging or affinity.

i strongly believe that any sport is hard to learn if you are not 100% into it because any time dedicated to learning or studying about the sport will be seen as a chore and not something enjoyable so if you are to bet on any sport let it be something you truly enjoy because if you just force yourself you might miss out on certain details and make the wrong bets

Which source is that? I have known the difference since years ago that they are not the same. I used search engine right now and this is what I saw:

Gambling is a risk an individual would take for a desired result, such as cash or a prize. It refers to casinos, poker, slots, and table games. Betting refers to placing a wager on an event, such as a sporting event. The motivation behind betting is to turn a profit.

You bet when two teams or people are competing like in sport and election while gambling is used for casino games where there is no competition.
