One thing can lead to another, so it's very possible for people who got into a certain sport to become as passionate aas those who got into it because of a certain clip or who just loved the game naturally.

You really can't predict what would happen. You either like a certain sport or you are indifferent. Trying to convince yourself that you like a certain sport, just because you are betting money feels forced and unnatural. I can't say that I like or dislike sports. I enjoy watching football and boxing and I'm indifferent towards all the other sports. I can't say that I hate them and I also can't say that I like them. I wouldn't mind betting money on most sports, but I cannot force myself to like them and enjoy watching them. It doesn't matter if you like or dislike a certain sport. It’s always the other way around for me. I usually bet on a sports that I’m already fan and not because I’m gambling on it that turns me into a fan.

I rarely check sportsbook category especially on sports that doesn’t interest me. However, I always place bet on a newly discovered sports that I become interested as a way to enjoy it by supporting my favorite team and players.

Like I said people actually end up liking a sport for the sake of betting, but I don't think this pattern can be sustainable for a long time because when this porpose is not met, for example some may become a fan of Chelsea because of the way they Play, and this will leed to betting on them for a start, an later they may see no reason to bet on Chelsea after couple of some loses, they will shif from that particular club to multiple and later become confused of which club to rely on to bet.
