The costs of Ederson and Uğurcan are almost the same. Ederson has more experience, so we’ll see this season which one will be more productive.

There's a rumour that Gundogan of Manchester city moving to galatasaray today for medicals. If this goes successfully as expected today, that would be one of the most surprising transfer of a closing date. To tell the truth, it could have been better... If they didn't wait for literally the last day of the CL registration they'd have had a more powerful squad than this.

I'm very certain they will win the league, but they need to make sure not to lose focus of that because of the Champions League.
In the Champions League, if they're lucky, they can make it to the knockout stages. Aside from Man City and Liverpool, there are no top teams they will be meeting in the league phase. I could have included Atletico Madrid, but the form Atletico is in currently is not worthy of a top team.
Ajax, Bodo/Glint, Union SG, Monaco, Frankfurt and Atleti are teams they can take points from. If they manage to make it to the play offs and if they're lucky, they will meet a team they can win and qualify for the knock out stages.

I do not think they are trying because from all indications they already are and more actually.  A time comes when a tea..begins to see themselves worthy to contend beyond the four walls of their domestic league and then they recognise that to be at that top classification they have to make some drastic and irregular move to achieve that results and the Management of the team also influences this by coming to that realisation. This is what I believe is the cacse with Galatasaray and do not be surprise when you see them register as top contender for champions league too.

With this squad, aiming only for the domestic league title seems pointless to me. If you also look at the European matches, success in Europe should definitely be the priority. But in that case, all the money they’ve spent would end up being wasted in my opinion.

Unfortunately, he couldn't play in his own position while Rafa Silva was there.
