We just got a really important win against Beşiktaş in the derby. But I must be honest about one thing there. If Orkun didn't receive that red card I can't even imagine how badly we were about to lose.

Because we were really desperate while they were capturing a 2-0 advantage. I didn't expect us to be that bad. Even though we won by 3-2 we should learn our lesson from the performance we showed before the red card.

I think most Fenerbahçe fans would agree with you on this.

If that's the case, then why didn't he show such a clear foul card? Is there a single logical explanation for this? He sees the foul, blows the whistle, the tension is high in the game, and instead of showing the card to lower the tension, he stokes the fire. Why do you think he's doing this? Why would he do this if he didn't have his own interests at stake? Why would he dare to do this when he knows everyone is watching? Unfortunately, this is the situation we've been facing in our country for years. Referees always behave this way against Beşiktaş, and because we don't have enough lobbying power, we can't even defend our rights.

The things you're talking about are rational and what I want too, but they're impossible. Beşiktaş has been in this situation for years and has made some terrible transfers in certain seasons, but even then, no one came forward to say so. Beşiktaş is one of Turkey's biggest teams; it has fallen far behind Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe in recent years, but it's still one of Turkey's biggest teams. If you say we won't have any target for a few seasons, you'll disappoint at least 15 million people and make at least 50 million people laugh at you..
