just as you have pointed out this weekend is actually looking funny for these goal keepers because they will be playing against each other right in the Turkish super league as the two respective clubs will be playing against each other.


But let see if the both players will be starting because Onana just arrived in Trabzonspor but as for the Manchester City vs Manchester United game let see how the game will go but one thing that I know is that this game will not be easy for each of the teams.

Ederson has more experience than Uğurcan Çakır since he has played in Manchester City and has made several appearances in the Champions League. But we can never know until we see the performance of both goalkeepers this season.  The Turkish goalkeeper might outshine the former City goalkeeper. I can't wait to see how both players perform in the Turkish League.

It will be a very interesting match between Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor, let's see if Ederson can be able to minimize Fenerbahce's nature of conceding goals in most of their matches. I think the interest will center much on Onana because Trabzonspor is second in the table and will be looking forward to extending their points, though Fenerbahce has only played 3 matches while Trabzonspor has played 4, maybe Fenerbahce might take the match more serious in order to level points with Trabzonspor and since they have signed a new coach Domenico Tedesco, he might initiate a strategy that will help Fenerbahce get a win.

I don't think Galatasaray will regret not signing Ederson because as we can see, their goalkeeper is still doing well after conceding just one goal in their last 4 games so it shows they still have a goalkeeper they can rely on. Ederson is more experience than Uğurcan but what aids a goalkeeper to become great is solid defenders because they help to ease tension of the goalkeeper so Uğurcan can still do well in the champions league and in the Turkish Super League.

Galatasaray added to their squad but Victor Osimhen is their top striker who understands the front work better based on his last season performance in the team he will be missed if he's not feet to play against Frankfurt but the rest of the players should be able to perform well even in his absence in the game. Galatasaray winning against Frankfurt will give them more motivation to face Liverpool and if Victor Osimhen returns before the game against Liverpool it will be a good game for them to fight to see if they can secure a point against Liverpool because Liverpool looks like a better team than them now.

There is a very high chance that he will be playing against Frankfurt. Looks like it's right about that time when he should be recovering, right now he got all the treatments he needed and he is just going to basically not play any matches, not go into any training and for the whole 10 days he was injured, just focus on recovery nothing more.

This isn't a serious one, so if you really wish to play him, then 5-6 more days of recovery and training with the rehab personal? I am sure he is going to be in the game. But even if he does feel bad at some point in the game and wants to get out, then he can be replaced with Icardi, that is the luxury that Galatasaray has, they have great two strikers who can do a fine job.

The Süper Lig resumed, but today's matches weren't exciting. There were plenty of goals today. Esenler Erokspor beat Hatayspor 4-1, and Bodrum FK beat Adanademir Spor 3-1. Bodrum FK were playing too far forward, and their three-forward plan led to them conceding early goals. Their attacking play eventually paid off, and they managed to secure the three points with three goals throughout the match.

Even though Galatasary is a strong team in Turkey they are not yet there when it comes to the champions League because there are allot of teams that are way ahead of Galatasary when it comes to the champions League, let see how Galatasaray will perform this season in the champions League because the competition is huge and will be tough for them.


Oshimen will be missed in their champions League opener against Frankford but there are allot of good players in Galatasary that can step up their game to fill the space that oshimen absence has created.

Everyone knows how much of importance Osimhen is to Galatasaray and the amount they spent on him shows they realise how important he can be to them and  so they do not need to be told of how much he should be managed, I believe by the champions league, he will be readily available to join them so they will have nothing to really fear or bother about with the champions league, even though they do not expect to win, they most definitely will have a decent finish if they are getting it right.

It's a mistake by both clubs. Galatasaray got Trabzonsports goalkeeper for 30+ million euro and that was a mistake because for that much money they could have gotten someone better, they could have easily gotten Ederson weeks even months ago if they were willing to pay a high amount, and the age gap is not that huge. Plus they could have gotten someone a lot better than both of those and younger as well for that kind of money. They could have paid 35 million and got whatever young and upcoming star as well.

However, that doesn't mean Trabzon did a good job, because they paid 10+ million for the loan of Onana, and then to him as well, so just one year of Onana, a goalkeeper everyone mocked so far, became basically half and than some of Ugurcan Cakirs money. They do not even own him, it's just a loan, half the money gone for one season loan and nothing more for a goalkeeper that was mocked.

Thank God Onana left the team at least he's got his rest of mind and I believe he's gonna do better there in the Turkish super League no doubt, the expectation was just to much for him at Manchester United, that's why he lost confidence of himself and flop, but I'm kinda sure he will definitely do good there.

Wow it is indeed, the two goalie left the English premier League to join the Turkish super League and all of a sudden they're meeting and then there's a derby for the two teams also hmm interesting, it's a game of he who the cap fits should wear it, my instincts are telling me Onana's team will win while Manchester United will win in England, it just a prediction though it might happen the other way round, and for Galatasaray not getting Ederson is no big deal they can still go with what they have, like I said Galatasaray is not going there to win the UCL rather going for the relevance and the tickets selling, even if they are gonna win the UCL at least not this time.

Galatasaray humiliated Eyüpspor, they scored 5 goals and conceded no goals, and in my opinion Galatasaray is stronger compared to last season, it is true that for this game they will not be able to count on Victor Osimhen, but the remaining Galatasaray players have great skills and enough quality to guarantee victory and at least 2 goals in that game, so I put Galatasaray to win in my parlay.

Chelsea’s David Datro Fofana joins Turkish side Fatih Karagumruk on loan

Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana has joined Turkish side Fatih Karagumruk S.K. on a season-long loan transfer.

Datro Fofana, 22, has made just four appearances since joining Chelsea from Molde in January 2023, and the Premier League club had tried to offload the forward during the summer of 2024.

Chelsea were in talks with Greek side AEK Athens last summer over a loan with an obligation to buy deal for Datro Fofana, who trained alone amid his uncertain future, but the move collapsed after a change of the agreed terms and the Ivorian striker instead joined Turkish club Goztepe on loan.

Datro Fofana scored two goals in nine appearances before undergoing an operation to cure a thigh and knee problem, returning to west London in January.

Chelsea paid for a fee worth more than €10million (£8.4m; $11m) to sign Datro Fofana in January 2023. He made three Premier League appearances for Chelsea during the 2022-23 season, but spent the following campaign on loan at Union Berlin and Burnley.

Prior to his Premier League move, Datro Fofana scored 24 goals and assisted a further eight in 65 appearances for Molde, who play in the Eliteserien, Norway’s top-flight.

On Friday, Chelsea agreed a deal to sign Emanuel Emegha from BlueCo sister club RC Strasbourg in a move that will be finalised in 2026.

Finally, we're kicking off. The international break is over and the new signings have arrived. The transfer window is closed. We can say this will be Sergen Yalçın's first match. He's had enough time to prepare and he has everything at his disposal to get the most out of his squad.

Başakşehir has been a tough opponent for us for years. But we have to win this match. They haven't started well this season either. They drew their first two matches. They were eliminated from Europe. Çağdaş Atan left and Nuri Şahin took his place. They're not much different, they're in the same situation as us. Beşiktaş must win at home.
