It turned out just as I said. This match was no walk in the park for Fenerbahçe. Looking at the odds, we couldn't call Fenerbahçe the favorites and those who underestimated Alanyaspor realized they had made a big mistake. Fenerbahçe and Alanyaspor drew, which I think was a fair result.

The referee was awful, constantly making wrong calls.
I think Fenerbahçe’s first penalty decision was incorrect.
As for Nesyri’s goal, if that counts, then Trabzonspor’s goal last week should also have stood. To me, both are goals.

Fenerbahçe was definitely hoping for a penalty in extra time, but the referee was so bad he didn't award it. I think it was a penalty.

En Nesyri is a soft forward. When the ball reaches him, he unleashes that finishing shot. Just like he did yesterday.
I don't think the play was a foul, but the fact that players in the Turkish League dive to easily draw fouls made it seem like a foul. Aliti dived to earn the foul, but the referee ruled it wasn't a foul and awarded the goal.

Galatasaray replaces both champion managers and champion presidents whenever they fail.
Despite seven years of such failure, Ali Koç is still elected.
If Aziz Yıldırım doesn't appear in the election, he will win again. Sadettin Saran or Hakan Bilal Kutlualp are not candidates who can defeat him.
Ali Koç's flawed and incompetent transfer policies have a significant impact on the team's failure.
I hope Fenerbahçe gets rid of him in this election.

To be honest, I think Fenerbahçe might have some difficulties tonight.

Fenerbahce is going through some turmoil right now, it is normal that impacts the players and their desire to play better. Between Mourinho being fired, and then a new manager arriving and Mourinho actually going to the team that eliminated them, and then elections in upcoming days for change of president.

They are really facing a lot and that is why it looks like it's going to be a difficult period for them and having some unexpected results during this stage isn't really unheard of. I am sure they will get better, eventually managerial change will be old story, and president whoever is elected will be old story too, and everyone will assume their positions for the "new" normal and they will start to play better.

I was not impressed with the way that Galatasary lost in the champions League tonight losing by 5:1 Galatasary this season has been very impressive so I expected that Galatasary was going to take their form in the Turkish super league into the champions League. Frankfurt is not a club that is too strong for Galatasary to play because they are struggling in the German bundesliga.



Galatasary should improve in their performance because with what am seeing Galatasary is likely going to be donating points this season in the champions League.

I thought that Galatasaray would have a different result in the champions League game this season based on the current squad in the team but seeing how they couldn't withstand the pressure from Frankfurt tonight shows that the Turkish teams needs to upgrade their performance if they want to become successful in Europe. The results that the Turkish teams are getting in the past years truly proves that a lot still needs to be done in their style of football, they may not have the opportunity to be in the champions League finals now until they rebuild the standard of the teams to enable them compete with the other teams in the competition.

Without fair management in the local league, teams end up in such a mess in European cups. However, if there were no injustice, if matches were managed properly, clubs would make their investments accordingly and play accordingly. Increased competition in the league positively impacts success in European cups. But when off-field factors come into play and determine the standings in the league, we naturally see something completely different in European matches. Solving these issues is very easy, but there is no will to do so.

That is the kind of mentality every manager wants their team to have, the mentality to take responsibility and step up in times like this. Some other team’s mentality will drop knowing their key player is absent but Galatasaray have stayed focus on achieving three points even without Osimhen, good thing they have Icardy to step in Osimhen’s absence.

Galatasaray does have this dogged mind, even before Osimhen joined them, they were trying so hard and he came in as the missing piece, now he has set the pase for them and eve in his absence they can do even more just like we saw in Napoli, Osimhen did set the pase and even in his absence at a ti.e Napoli began to perform well so I am not really surprised seeing same at Galatasaray,  I am really optimistic about his soon return.

Honestly I was disappointed with the result Galatasaray got in the UCL, eintracht frankfurt isn't even in the top of dominance in their domestic league and they made a mess of Turkish league giant which literally justifies your position on the standing difference in the leagues where the two clubs are coming from. I just want to believe that maybe this was a mistake and perhaps when the German side visits Turkey in the return leg, Galatasaray might correct this shameful defeat and give their fans something to smile at.

Galatasaray horrible loss to Frankfurt exposes the laxity in Turkish football. If the strongest team in the Turkish league cannot compete effectively in Europe,then the need for an upgrade or improvements in Turkish football style has become necessary to catch with the football playing style in Europe. Galatasaray without Victor osimhen was the reason for their defeats, if Victor osimhen was present in the game, he's influence and contribution would have been an advantage for Galatasaray.it only shows that without Victor osimhen in their next match against Liverpool, Galatasaray may suffer a second defeat in the UEFA Chiampions league.

We have seen Fenerbahce's inconsistent performance for the past few years. They compete for the title. But they fall behind every season. Galatasaray is far behind. We expected something better from Fenerbahce after Mourinho became the manager. But Mourinho has failed with this team. We have seen that Fenerbahce management has spent a lot of money but their performance has not improved. Let's see if Fenerbahce's new coach can do better. I don't expect much from Fenerbahce this season either.

We must improve the quality of our league as soon as possible, and if the league continues with foreign referees, it will definitely become a better competition. If our league improves, I’m sure we will also perform better in Europe.

Osimhen’s absence was a big disadvantage for us, but players will not always be available. Building our game plan around just one player is not a good idea, you always need to have alternative plans.

Did y'all see that cheap shot that should have been clipped by the gloves, but he just decided to punch it out for some reasons I don't even know?... A re-bounce was created and a cheap goal was scored! That did didn't even belong in any team in the premier League.. Zero reflexes, zero flexibility!
