Why this is even to be asked if we should believe what's on the news? the news about those wars are for real and it's happening like what you have said that there's fear amongst the innocent people that are in the midst of these wars.

Our bodies are machines. If you don't add gasoline to a car, and change the oil in the engine, the car will destroy itself, but at least won't work. Same with the laws of the human body. Do we even know all the kinds of 'oil' that need to be changed in the body?

When you go to a standard grocery store, there are maybe 50 different plants that you can buy and eat. But if you look at the book TROPICA, it will show you at least hundreds of plants that are in the world... maybe thousands... pictures in living color... plants that we never heard of before.

Have you replenished your 'body's oil' with all these plants? If not, no wonder we only live to 100 years if that.

And all that doesn't include spiritual health, that only comes from the Creator of the Universe by believing in Him.

Actually, it has been proven there is a large percentage of people living in the west of the world, specially in the United States, who does not longer believe what they see in the news or believe news are extremely biased to one of the political spectrum, so they are likely not to inform the population but rather try to indoctrinate all those who are viewers. It has happened specially to CNN, which slowly but steadily turned into a News medium to a propaganda and indoctrination tool in favor of the democrat party of the United States, the same happens with Fox and Newsmax.
We live in times and in societies in which is more likely to find the truth in post people share in social media, instead on Television, because now anyone can be a reporter since we all now have a camera always with us and internet connection.

So saying we all believe what the news say is an over-estatement.

What we're seeing now is the result of greed; man is never satisfied with what he has and wants to have his brother's shares. War is ugly because it reflects the worst side of man: greed and fear.

I was just going to add that the biggest disease in the world today is GREED as coin-investor
points out. Fear is an inbuild trait which we have EVOLVED with as a means of survival.

Look at Russia with the largest land mass on the planet and still they want more land by invading

Fear is what limits some people from advancing in life to greater heights, fear is what makes a lot of dreams never come through, we have to build up our courage and be more determined for excellence by having confidence in ourselves, not having more about this courage needed is a big challenge on its own, because we are going to be limited on what we can do in life and how far we can go.

Generally, people fail to face their fear and conquer it so they comfortably live with the challenge unsolved. Life is filled with different threats that deserves thorough approach and consistent resilient to solving it. Fear is negative and causes us to do things the easy way without some demanding risk, fear of trying and failing. I don't know what spirit is of fear, be it devil or any spirit behind such killer attribute is a different mind to change things. The most annoying part of these issues is that we have political leaders who are not truthful. These politicians are ruling people with propaganda and falsehood. News channels have been designed to brainwash people and make them believe lies. These days it is necessary to verify information from different news channels before believing it. Social media is not a good place to get information because most of them are unverified. An individual can easily spread misinformation on social media.  But it doesn't mean that all information on social media is fake.

In our current society, the moment a word disease is mentioned, everyone starts thinking of diseases like HIV/AIDs, and another you can think of not recognising that one of the greatest disease of human is fear, a very strong one. Having said this i believe that fear restricts us from confronting some realities which requires our bold statements but due to consequences that can cause us harm or death we choose to remain silent.
